My two-year old daughter and I visited Kosmo for lunch, around 1:00, on Thursday. We went up to the counter, picked up a menu, and were told by one of the three guys behind the counter that he would come to us to take our order. We sat down at one of the few booths in the seating area. Another of the three men took our order about five minutes later. I expected the waters to be out shortly, but they never came. About five more groups of people came and ordered after we did, and all received their food in a reasonable amount of time. After about 20 minutes, one of the servers came to our table and checked to make sure wed ordered. I reassured him that we had, and confirmed the order. We waited another ten minutes, and we walked out. We waited half an hour from the time of ordering, and my daughter was very hungry. All for a single hot dog and a bowl of bi bim bop! Perhaps this experience was an anamoly, but were not going to return to find out.

The service was unreasonably slow for such a small establishment. A couple colleagues and I went on a lunch break at work and we were very late getting back. The food on the other hand was great! I have only been there once but I have actually had dreams about their "Evans Fried Rice". The combination of ground beef, rice and veggies (plus a little hot sauce) is crunchy, salty, sweet and delicious! Plus the portions were huge! I also ordered an egg roll and thought it was just ok. It was overly peppery with bland veggies inside. My coworker enjoyed it though.

Yesterday afternoon my daughter ordered 4 Tucker Burgers from Kosmo. We are local and knew the original Tucker who created this sandwich. The kitchen bagged 4 sandwiches and when my daughter and I buy into them we realized that the hamburgers had been all burned to a blackened crisp. A crunchy black crisp! Who would sell such sandwiches? The next day I called to discuss this problem and spoke with a cashier who explained that the owner is seldom there, it wasnt her fault and she was very busy. We used to enjoy going to Kosmo but will never go there again.

The food is fine - the Seoul Dog is especially delicious. However, the short asian man who apparently runs the establishment RUINED the experience for me on several occasions. Every time Ive dined here and he is also working, this young man loudly berates his employees in front of his customers. This continues the duration of my visit, and after the fourth time Ive simply had it. I refuse to give this establishment any more of my business, and I hope the owner learns the simple basics of professionalism.

This place is great. The food is delicious and the staff are very nice. I took my wife here and we shared a bimibap because the portions are so large and they gave us 2 spoons in the bowl without asking and were quick to take care of anything we wanted while we sat at the counter. Definitely recommend

Usually, everything is great eating at Kosmos, hence the 4 stars. But today, New Years Day 2017, our granddaughter got stomach poisoning eating Bi Bim Bap at Kosmos. I saw no way to contact Kosmos directly but hope this alerts the staff that they have a health problem.

Excellent Korean food in a crowded but charming setting. The Bi Bim Bop, their specialty, was great, though served a bit cold. The tofu was especially delicious. Their Bul Go Gi was also fantastic, if a little light on the meat.

I have been 3 times now, and love the Bop. Service isnt fast, but the food is great. Love going after the farmers market. Bring some friends, so you can roam Kerrytown while you wait. Oldschool.

Being my first time, the waiter patiently explained what vegetarian offerings were available. I choose the tofu bibimbap with brown rice and enjoyed it very much. Ill be back.
