Ive been to my fair share of "tofu houses". There are so many of them now a days that I see them almost as often as I do pho restaurants. That being said lets start the review. Well, for starters. The menu is bigger than most tofu houses. Im not even sure I could call it a tofu house as they serve a lot more than just that. Most of the options are a familiar it not traditional Korean dishes. Most meals come with a plethora of different kimchi type small dishes. The amount of food you get for portions are generous. So youll be leaving satisfied for sure. Also when its says spicy on menu, its spicy! Most of the menu items are broth or noodle base with your choice of meat. I would definitely recommend their dumplings though. The restaurant reminds me a lot of a hunting or mountain lodge. You have a few options for seating arrangements. Be sure to let them know ahead of time if you have a big party. The staff here is attentive, especially since you can summon them by pressing a button at your table that alerts them. I believe its sends them a little electric shock (I kid!). Overall, it was a pleasant experience. We were near Pleasant Hill road. Ha! Anyways its one of the better tofu houses and definitely worth a check out.

So at first glance, you might not realize that this place serves authentic Korean food since its sign simply says "Korean BBQ" but they have a full menu of a lot of traditional Korean food. The restaurant itself seems sort of uninviting from the outside, but the decorations inside and wonderful. The eating area is large, and the decorations on the wall are beautiful. SERVICE My friend and I (both white) walked in and immediately were greeted by a smiling waitress who took us to our seats. We noticed we were the only White people in the restaurant, but we took that as a good sign. The service was great throughout the meal. Our drinks and banchan were constantly replenished, and our waitress was very kind. FOOD Absolutely amazing! I had the seafood 순두부 (tofu soup) at a medium spice level. It was actually not as spicy as I would have expected, so I might get it hotter next time. My rice was also fresh and warm. In terms of the banchan my favorite was the pickled Korean peppers and the kimchi. My friend loved his spicy octopus bibimbap. This place is awesome.

This place is all about real Korean food. When you first enter your immediately hit with the aroma of a traditional Korean familys home. The scents of Korea begin to transport you across the pacific to truly authentic experience. The majority of the staff have been there for decades and always seem to remember you as you return. One key factor that lets you know you are in the right place for a culinary experience is that nearly all the customers are Korean. I recommend the Myung bean pancakes as an appetizer. Of course they are best know for their tofu stew "Sundo bu" I love kimchi beef sundo bu. feel free to try all the varieties. Most Americans may feel at a loss at what to order on their first visit and a nice safe choice is Yetnal Bul Gogi, a slighty sweet broth of Apple marinated ribeye slices scallions and noodles. My whole family enjoys it. I do heartily recommend Jang Su Jang to all those wanting a truly delicious experience.

Unlike most of my dining experiences at places that are new to me, where I gorge myself to excess, I tried to keep it light this time. I am so glad I did! The portions here are massive! I was really tempted to try the hot pot here, but since I wasnt sure what I would do with the leftovers (since I still had many hours of driving back to Florida left), I opted for the Seafood & Beef Soon Tofu soup. In its own, it is quite mild but hearty. I added lots of rice, to make it more of a stew consistency. I recommend getting it with a high level of spice (they seemed to use less spice than I am used to, so their medium was more like a mild). None of us really cared for the spicy seafood noodle soup (kind of bland, even with the spices), but the bulgogi wraps were a big hit at our table. If I wasnt set on getting my usual (stone bowl bibimbap), I would likely get the bulgogi again or try the shabu shabu (mostly because it is fun to say).

I absolutely love this place. I have yet to be disappointed by this place aside from being sad I along with my friends finished the food or worse I stuffed myself so much I cant eat anymore. If your looking for quality authentic Korean cuisine then look no further this place is where its at. Also, I swear everytime I go in I feel like I should probably know Korean to get through the meal, but its never been an issue. The service is great and I always feel welcomed here. Also, love the after dinner drink they give you. Refreshing way to end your meal

I love the service. Everyone is so very nice. The food is excellent!!!! When I first moved in the area, I visited Jang Su Jang and I was made to feel at home immediately! The owner was there and she personally went through the menu with me, asked what I like to eat and suggested a dish. It was noodles and I loved it. I eat there about 6-8 times a month. My favorite dishes are: Galbi & Soon Tofu Soup Combo, Spicy Beef Noodle Soup, Grilled Mackerel and all the side dishes.

Jang Su Jang has been one of my most beloved restaurants for many years. Their food quality and service is always exceptional. After moving from Atlanta to Chicago four years ago, I could not find its Chicagoland equal. After recently visiting the restaurant during a recent trip to ATL, I stopped there for the first time since relocating. The quality of service and food have remained high. The staff even asked where my family and I had been.

Jang Su Jang is authentic and traditional Korean restaurant. They are the most popular and the best Korean restaurant in Atlanta. Everything on their menu is all very good especially their tofu and galbi and they have the best customer service. It was hard to believe that majority of their staffs have been working here from the day they opened and they have been opened for 10 years! WOW!!! MUST TRY THIS SPECIAL RESTAURANT!!

Ive been coming here for a while. Food is good and service is usually good as well, however the last time I was there, the cashier or server tried to scam me out of the tip I left on my credit card. I left a $5 tip from a $24 bill and they tried to take $9 as I usually dont take my copy of the receipt (yes I remember what I put down). Luckily my Capital One alerts me when a company tries to take outlandish tip amounts.
