Wow, before this place closed down, it used to be so good. After it reopened recently, I definitely cant say the same. The appetizers were not that great. Some of them seemed like more breading and less meat, especially in the case of the calamari. The "wontons" had this very odd, not-wonton-like-filling, where it was more vegetables and little meat. The agedashi tofu was probably the worst Ive had, and I eat a lot of agedashi tofu. The California roll was better than anything that you would find in a Whole Foods or Kroger store, and I found it generally exceptional, but thats about it. The main course was exceptional, but for sure nothing special. An even more concerning issue was that my sister ended up getting food poisoned. Yeah, very off-putting. All in all, I think that Koreana has reopened in a much worse condition than before, and Id have a hard time recommending it to anyone unless they are just looking to eat California rolls. Very disappointing comeback.

My first experience with Koreana was great. The service was exceptional, the waiter answered all of our questions and even if he didnt know the answer he would find out the answer for us. The second time we came, we waited 2 hours to get our food when it was my table and another table occupying the restaurant. Also, the waiter was rude. That was a year ago so my partner and I decided to come back and try it again. We walked in and we were not acknowledged for ten minutes as the staff was focusing on putting together a table for a party of ten. So we walked out and dont think anyone noticed or cared. Its a shame because the food was amazing, ya know, when I had the chance to eat it.

My husband and I have visited this place several times. The food is always amazing...I mean AMAZING. The service is horrible. Last time I took my parents we waited over 30 min. for drinks. Our starters came out AFTER my sushi. I asked to talk to the manager. He said its because the kitchen is so small they cant handle it when it gets busy! We would go here more often if it werent for the fact that we end up being there almost 2 hours for dinner. Perhaps they should look into moving into a space where they have a larger kitchen. It truly is a good place to eat if it werent for the long wait times Id probably go a few times a month. We havent been back since March. :(

Worst customer service i have ever experienced at a Korean restaraunt! i drove 30 mins to this restaurant and the girl who took my order did not correctly enter my order in the computer and i noticed this once i got home so i called and by the same girl was told to come back and they would fix my order (another 30 minute drive) so when i get there I waited for 20 minutes while the owner argued with the girl who took my order and then was told that they were not going to fix my order I will never eat there again Update: now the manager just called harassing me because of this review how professional

Toledos best Korean restaurant! I have eaten here many times over the years and have always enjoyed the food I have been served, although some of it might be challenging to American palates. Kalbi, bulgogi, chap chae, and bibimbop are good places to start - none of these are "funky" or "weird". This is an excellent place to bring a group - if its not too busy the chef will often let you order a chefs choice family style dinner for the whole group.

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I told the bartender to give me his favorite beer, it was fantastic. The food is great! This place never lets me down. I come here when my mother is in the hospital. I get take out to feed her and it always raises her mood. This place is amazing. Seriously, try it out. This place wont let you down, ever. Its a nice quiet place to each and enjoy each others company. Its a solid 5/7 (internet joke).

The most phenomenal Korean food in Toledo! I really enjoy their vegetarian bibimbap! It comes out in a stone bowl thats been baked to retain heat. Everything is nicely sizzling and absolutely delicious. They bring gochujang sauce on the side to add a bit more heat if thats what you prefer. Our waitress Ellie was wonderfully courteous and also had some playful banter to entertain our table of four.

Great atmosphere and GREAT food! We were very happy with our first Korean food experience. The waitress was helpful in picking out good choices for us and there wasnt a thing on the table we didnt like. We had the meal for 4, which gave us a good taste of everything with a lot of leftovers! Highly recommend. We will be returning.

After traveling to Korea and spending a lot of time in Seoul and Busan, I can say that this is authentic Korean food. I love the kalbi, calamari bokum, and kimchi jjigae. The banchan are great and the service is friendly and inviting. Best restaurant in Toledo.

Koreana rates among the best restaurants in Toledo. Their bulgogi dishes are particularly excellent. The Korean banchan (side dishes) are very delicious and give you a new experience every time you sit down. Koreana also had wonderful sushi and rolls.

Quite atmosphere. Good food, all freshly made. Sushi chef made me a excellent spicy cali roll. Only have one small request: can you plz carry a nonalcoholic beer. Beer always goes great with korean food.
