Ive been going to Mirch Masala for a few years and I continue to come for their small lunch buffet. Yes, its very small, but it would seem that they are more concerned with quality rather than quantity. They change things up slightly each day, but the two main staples of curry goat and curry chicken are always there. The curry goat is especially impressive since its very easy to ruin goat if you dont know what youre doing. The best part about this buffet, of course, is the fresh Naan, made the traditional way. It some times takes a second to bring it out, but this is because they take the time to make it fresh, so you get fresh hot Naan throughout your meal. The biggest downside to this restaurant is their service, which tends to be a bit mediocre. They get you what youre ordering, but you may find yourself needing to flag them down, even when youre the only person in the restaurant. If you can deal with the poor service, however, you will find that the food is well worth the money and youre certain to enjoy this lovely buffet!

I use to love this restaurant and its food. But my recent experience has changed everything. Customer service its worst at its peak. A guest next to our table had huge roach roaming and flying around. My food had a long string of lady hair. When we asked for the manager, he just stood at the counter watching us while the waiter was talking to him about the situation, but never came to us or the other table and apologies to any of us. We asked the waiter for his name, the waiter has been working there for long time, and she said she dont know his name. The manager was absolutely unapologetic and the waiter said we can leave the restaurant if we want to. They didnt even address our or other customers issue. I made a mistake. I should have immediately called the health department on them. Never going there again, never ever. Would like people to be careful with their food and their surroundings also in that restaurant.

Am here right now. Disappointing to say the least. Ambiance isnt very inviting, staff is not friendly. I was asked 3 times it was a take out order like they didnt want to seat me. Was given water still havent been asked what Id like to drink. EXTREMELY limited selection. One rice, 3 veggie and 3 meat dishes. Thats it. Food wasnt horrible but wasnt good either. It was edible. Temperature of food wasnt even luke warm. About to walk around the plaza. 7 other Indian restaurants in here. Hopefully one of them has a better experience to offer.

Waited to be seated for 5 minutes in an empty restaurant while servers stood around yapping with each other. The food was hot and tasted fine but i found sand grit in the vegetable curry. My server never spoke to me, he and everyone else in the restaurant looked pissed that i was there... it was not a welcoming atmosphere for someone that is not of indian decent. Giving this place 1 star because of the "dirty" food, crappy service, and dark dim atmosphere. Stay away.

Me & my husband went for a lunch buffet on a Sunday. We promised not to go there again. The food was horrible. We know how Indian food taste and smell. We expected better quality and quantity on a Sunday lunch. The peas in the "Aloo Matar" were old, you know it when you eat it. Only one desert (rice pudding), while you may likely to get at least 2-3 varieties of Indian sweet in similar other buffet places. Moreover, service was poor too.

Never again to this place. Had some issues. ask for the manager. Person walk by with a very serious face. Very nasty guy. His name is Ekramul. I said Hi, he ask me what I want? the way he was looking to us and talking, gave us the confirmation of the service he may do. paid for the buffet and walked out. NOTE TO THE OWNER " PLEASE HAVE THIS PLACE CLEAN EVERYDAY INCLUDING THE BATHROOM AND HAVE SOME PEOPLE WITH OUT SERIOUS FACE.

I cant comment on its authenticity (Im not overly experienced with Indian food), but I can comment on its deliciousness! The buffet was perfect--everything was fresh and I wanted seconds of everything I tried. Even my boyfriend who is rather picky enjoyed it lots. The staff were also all very nice and helpful, and the décor was pleasant. We will definitely be returning, especially since the weekend lunch buffet is only $10!

Terrible food. I felt sick just after eating over here. The bhajiya/ fritters were served cold and rice was uncooked. The kheer is pathetic. The staff took my debit card and swiped it for $38 and then told me that debit card is not working. I checked my account then and there and found that the amount has already been deducted. When I confronted the staff, then they admitted that card got swiped correctly. Very shady.

We are the out of towners and discovered this place accidentally. When we checked the reviews we had some doubts. But once we went in we found the place to be good. The food was north Indian spread and very tasty. Mutton is to die for. If you are lucky you will find some juicy nallis . we went again after a day on dinner. No complaints except they added gratuity even for 4 people. Vegie were good too.

This place should be closed. When I went in, my drink glass has LIP MARKS on it. It looks like they dipped the glass into a dirty bucket of water and let it air dry. I was absolutely infuriated - I am a doctor and I know that this can spread many diseases like MRSA or Herpes. I am going to report this to the health department. If you care for your health, really avoid this place.

Very rarely I find everything good about Indian restaurant but I must say Mirch Masala left no opportunity to complain. Everything was exceptional. Good food. Good service and good price too. I went there on Weekend lunch buffet. I am vegetarian so I can write only about vegetarian food, and at the cost of repeating, let me say again that it was exceptional!!

Greeted.. Well, stared by a stone faced man when we entered as if to say ok one more family, not sure why they are here. May be he charges $2 per smile. Food - mediocre with lot of oil; options - VERY limited even for a weekday buffet; price - $10.95 + 15% gratuity :o.... Overall, may be one time visit

we have eaten here couple of times. We tried the buffet once but did not like it. Its best to order off the menu card. Dont order too many items since the serving portions are generous. My personal favourites are chilly paneer, chicken lollipop, paneer tikka masala and roomali roti.

Excellent and authentic cuisine. The kitchen has seen some changes over the past ten years and the dishes have continued to evolve in an always positive direction. The buffet is certainly worth it; personally I would recommend ordering from the menu if you have time.
