Pretty good food, needs some attention to how they serve, plates cups and silverware are flimsy plastic. And not the cleanest place, could use some cleaning. If you want the tour of the kitchen just ask for the restrooms. Lol. So we ordered Cholla batoora- very good but served in a tiny paper plate the bread was over flowing and was touching the dirty table :( Paneer tikka masala - very good Onion parata - good Aloo parata - not good (probably they used old potatoes) The other reviews about the staff being rude. I did not find the same. They seemed to be really sweet. The decor is interesting, a regular size cricket bat, a broken foosball table , a cheep not working air hockey. And two super dirty sticky couches. Please owners please cleanup.

have been to the restaurant couple of days back with my friends. Had a VERY VERY WORST experience. ordered some appetizers and biriyans. the veg appetizers were good. i would give 7/10 for the veg appetizers. the green chutney they gave for samosa is full of garlic taste. NON-veg appetizers were OK. we ordered chicken tikka and tandoori. i would give 6/10 for them. and here comes this Biriyanis. we have ordered for chicken, lamb and shrimp biriyans. instead of biriyanis they gave us TURMERIC BIRIYANS WITH CHICKEN PIECES IN THEM. I think they should replace the names of chicken biriyan with "turmeric biriyani added with chicken pieces" in their menu. I definitely do not recommend this place for biriyani. those 2 stars is for the veg appetizers.

I had the Chicken tiki saag, suggested by the owner. I ordered it 6 stars" (very hot) and I loved it! made my nose run a little. It would be just as good at a lower heat. The chicken was really well prepared and the saag very flavorful. I also had a mango drink and I highly recommend that as well. When I walked in to get my curryout, there were 10 Indian guys in there eating and as I walked out there were two more cars full of Indian guys coming in to the parking lot. If all those guys are eating there, you know its good.

Best Indian restaurant in Dayton, bar none! With Chaat (Indian street appetizers), south Indian specialties (masala and chicken dosas are my favorite) and all around great good food, you cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. I initially order a dahi poori (small yogurt and spicy chickpea filled crisped bread) for a flavor and taste explosion, then get masala dosa and some meat dish (try their hydrabaadi chickenif available) to settle in for a main comforting meal just like my Ava used to make.

We come here all the time. Its such a great place, with amazing staff, and excellent food. You have to go through the kitchen to get to the bathroom, which feels a bit odd, but its just how the space is laid out - nothing they can really do about it. The only complaint I could say I have is that the containers for the food are not particularly sustainable, but thats hardly different from most of the places around. My family and friends all love this place, and I recommend it highly.

The Goat Saag - it was literally all bone and no meat! The Mango Lassi - are you supposed to get a buzz off of it? Maybe if the Mango juice wasnt so old it fermented, it wouldnt have an alcohol content in it even after asking twice to get it. The Garlic Nan - is it supposed to have a baking powder taste to it? Do I really have to use paper plates and and plasticware that I have to get myself for dine-in service? Worst Indian experience Ive had.

Great little gem hidden away in Centerville. They have a ton of vegetarian and vegan options, all inexpensive. You get a lot of food—and I mean a lot! It comes in to-go containers, but feel free to eat it there. They have a lot of tables, and Chaat Cafe and Curry Out has a great, laid-back vibe and nice ambiance. The staff is always friendly and accommodating, too.

Food no longer tastes like it used to. They bumped up the prices :( The main reason why we used to love eating at this place is because of the typical Indian chat place ambiance, which I dont feel anymore. It just sounds like any other place trying to make money without any food quality. I would prefer eating at Persis India grill.

Not only is their food AMAZING but they are very reasonably priced & quick! They also listen when you say you want spicy --most places dont...when I told them I wanted tears in my eyes, they listened! *Best Ever* As a vegetarian this is hands down my favorite Indian take out in the Centerville/Dayton area! --Highly Recommend!! I was at this place last night along with my friends, the food was not up to my expectation. Sambar with dosa was spoiled and when I informed the waitress she said its tasting like that because its hot. The owner was rude when i told him to make it less spicy. Not a good experience at all. I wont be visiting the place again.

This place is a true find. Although it is "fast-food" Indian, I find the quality to be on par with any sit-down restaurant Ive been to. The prices are also a good value given that the portions are enormous. The only disappointing item Ive had is the soup which tasted like canned but everything else has been very good.

Tikki Masala is delicious! Staff is always courteous and helpful and the restaurant is attractive and clean. I only gave "very good" for service because they got our order wrong one time we were there for dinner. They made it right and were apologetic about the error. I would recommend this to anyone!

From San Diego to New York City to Chicago, The India Chaat Cafe is my favorite! I love their paneer tikka masala. Its such a pleasure to find good food in Dayton, food that rivals or surpasses what you find in bigger cities. India Chaat Cafe is one of those rare finds in Dayton.

The only authentic indian food in the area - mostly south indian. Not a formal dining place but great tasting snacks and main dishes. Maybe a little too hot for non-Indians but fine for the subcontinentals. You can ask them to make it milder (relatively) Prices are excellent.

Hands down the best lamb curry, from Cali to Ohio! Wonderfully polite and helpful staff, a serious diamond in the rough. Clean, cozy and comfortable atmosphere! We will absolutely return and try one of the other fabulous dishes! Spice level 1-7= customizable deliciousness!!

Great place! Nice staff, very nice place, and generally not a long wait. Would not recommend using their bathroom tho (you have to go to their kitchen and storage area). If youre vegan, be sure to ask for things without milk even if it doesnt mention it in the menu.

I moved from New Jersey recently . Tried Indian chaat cafe and curry . Their Punjabi style chicken was amazing . Portions were huge and two ppl could easily eat one serving . Will definitely recommend to anyone who likes desi food and its damn cheap .

Very good Indian food. I had the Chicken Tikka Masala with a side of naan. There was more than enough for dinner and leftovers. The heat was exactly what I asked for. Flavorful and enjoyable. If Im back in the area, Ill definitely eat there again.
