We have eaten here for several years and although its kind of a pricey place for Mexican food, the food was good. We have gone twice this year and are very disappointed. Fajitas had no flavor whatsoever the first time we ate there this year. On the second trip my fajita shrimp quesadilla (which cost more) came with nothing but shrimp and cheese and french fries (I ordered rice) and was cut up for a child. When I told the waiter this isnt what I ordered he took the plate back an instead of getting what I had ordered, he added grilled veggies to it and brought a side of rice. He failed to take all of the fries off the plate. It was awful. We werent charged for it and the waiter was friendly, however we will not go back. When we go out to eat, we go to enjoy a dinner out. We dont go to try and get free food. Will not go back.

Was driving through town to check on possible wedding venues, and decided on mexican food Parker seated us, and took our drink order right away. Chips and salsa were on our table as soon as she walked away. When Parker came back with the drinks, she took our order. Dagi choose the Enchilada Combo, and I asked Parker to surprise me with a vegetarian dish. Margaritas were great. I thi k they were the house Margaritas. Parker came out with the Enchilada Combo, along with a huge Vegetable Fajita platter. She made a great selection. Meals were hot, and plated decent. Rice may have been a little dry, but that is the only issue that we had. Great meal, great service. Thanks Parker

I grew up in Southern California, so I learned to love Mexican food even before Gerber Baby Food. When I was in Dahlonega this week, I was pleasantly surprised to find an authentic Mexican Restaurant right on the main street of town. As soon as I had their fresh corn chips and sweet & spicy salsa, I knew I found a great place. I had a combination of tacos, burritos, beans, and rice. It reminded me of my youth in Southern California and the great food I grew up on. From now on, I know that I will always be stopping by Pueblos Mexican every time I get to Dahlonega. And, dont forget to have some of their Margaritas. They are made just right and make the meal just that much better.

Walked in for the first time late this afternoon as the owner was lecturing his staff in the foyer of the restaurant. He definitely commanded their attention. (Probably not a coincidence that theres a military college nearby). Whatever he said must have worked---though our nachos came out with completely unmelted cheese, the issue was resolved promptly, and the service and food (including the reformed nachos) were very, very good. Well go back whenever we visit Dahlonega.

The water taste like mold... the Texas fajitas are over priced and I basically got a order of bell pepper and onions for almost 20 dollars. Only 5 pieces of shrimp. Rice and beans taste like they were scraped from the bottom of the pan. Nasty never eating there again. Service sucked. Guy clearly didnt understand my order. I shouldnt have to repeat 3 times. 2 drinks were empty over 5 mins and told twice to bring lime and salsa verde. It was my moms birthday

This is by far one of the best mexican food restaurants I have been to in the South East. I was a Fajita cook in Texas for a while, and have become quite a steak fajita "snob" and the I must say, Pueblos got is DEAD ON! If you plan to go during weekend meal hours I strongly recommend making reservations. Say hi to Leo and the rest of the outstanding friendly crew! Oh, and do NOT get me started on the Tejas on the Rox! ;-) Great job guys!

We have been eating here since they opened their doors, it is wonderful. The chicken soup is delicious, a family recipe. We have tried almost every item on the menu and have never been disappointed. The service is excellent. The salsa is delicious. For us it is the ONLY place to eat in Dahlonega. It is easy to see why they are so popular and successful.

Service was friendly but food was HORRIBLE! I will never eat here again. The kitchen should be ashamed to serve the food they did. My chile rellenos was a pile of soggy, greasy batter with strips of pepper and a little cheese. I love Mexican food and I would rather eat at Taco Bell than at this place.

if you order nacho with no jalapeño, and they bring out ones with jalapeños, may as well pick them off yourself as that is all the kitchen staff will do. you will do a better job anyhow... Good sweet tea, but for a place charging 6$ for a tortilla with cheese, a little competence would be nice.

Appetizer came out after our entrees, so we declined it. They still charged us. Server never came by to get check, had to wave over the manager who we thought was going to fix (he didnt). Server eventually fixed. Wont be back.

Food is for the most part pretty good. I have had either my meal or a meal at the table come out wrong a few times. High on price and usually pretty busy when college is in session.

Beyond awesome. Get the dish with cactus. You will not be sorry! Salsa is excellent and I love the chicken quesadillas. If you get a margarita, get the moonshine margarita!

Pueblos is one of my favorite Mexican places! Definitely the best in town! Can be a bit briefed sometimes, and the parking sucks, but the food and service are great!

Salmon was fishy and nasty, chips were plain, service was absent minded, soup was pieces of chicken floating in tomatoe broth. I will never eat here again

The food quality is nothing to gloat about, but its nothing to complain about either. If you are looking for Mexican food it is the best option in town.
