Everything that came out of the kitchen looked really good...Im a plate gawker. I ordered the Irish omelette. It was really good. Veggies could have been a little more cooked, potatoes were really underdone. The wait time was really long, but it was a holiday weekend and they were really busy. But all in all fresh made to order food with good ingredients. Friendly staff. Ill be back.

Fabulous gluten free options, like hamburg buns, bread (French toast, sandwiches, etc) biscuits and O-M-G warm, gooey gluten free cinnamon rolls. Heaven! It is hard to find gluten free breakfast. Wish they would change their hollandaise sauce. Outdoor, dog friendly seating (and they brought our dog some water too). Friendly staff. Huge menu. What more would you want?

Fantastic. Great food wonderful staff and the owner is out front working to ensure everything is to you liking. It has been quite some time since weve seen such a smooth running staff. Everyone wants you to enjoy you visit. We tipped the cooks because the food was so good and picture perfect. We were in town for 3 days and we ate here twice.

Great food, fair prices, nicely decorated and always clean. The owner is a lovely lady. When the farmers market was happening in the field right next door, the vendors were welcome to come in and use the restrooms anytime, plus I was offered refills on the drinks I purchased to go. Such a nice community diner!

Food is good but service is so very slow. 35 minute wait for food after we ordered because of a crowded restaurant. A nice sorry or we hope you come back but no - it was how hard everyone works there. It was the excuse that prompted me to write. Slow service and arrogance is not a good combination.

The dinner is very good food and a very family friendly environment but the it takes a very very VERY long time before u can get food ,the kitchen staff works to slow ,I was there one time and we we there very way over an hour .But they do have very good food as I said just dont come when its busy .

Its either okay or bad. 5-1 Diner as under new ownership is really nothing special. Showing that the quality of food they serve is just mediocre at best. Sadly I had high hopes for the reopening, but I wouldnt recommend this restaurant to anyone for any particular reason.

The grand opening was more than i expected. The food and the prices are excellent. The service is the best Ive experienced in a long time. It is family friendly and the perfect place to call "the spot." This is our new family meeting place.
