Nor sure where some of these people ate, but it could not have been here. We arrived 30 minutes early for a reservation on a Holiday Weekend (St. Pattys ). We were seated immediately and our drink orders taken. The place is small (cozy ) and spotless. The staff was beyond friendly and were overheard to laugh and talk like they enjoyed working there. Never were we rushed and my drinks were refilled as soon as I asked. The chef was totally personable, and we had lots of laughs. Grand total at the end, after ordering sushi appetizer, both of us ordering the largest Hibachi special plus 3 mixed drinks for me, two for her, just over a hundred dollars. Some are carrying on about this place being pricy, pffft. Go back to McDs, cheapos. The food was more than great and enough for two meals each, we took some home to enjoy later. We had a 6pm reservation and it was filling up as we left at 7ish, so reserve early if you dont want a crowd. We love Hibachi style food and been all around the country. This is one of the top. DEFINITELY will be back...many times. Thank you!

I just experienced the worst customer service at Nagoya restaurant in covington. I order a tequila sunrise and I when a took s sip... It was drinking water.. So I asked my husband to try it and he said the same thing. Afterwards I called the waiter over to let him know and to exchange my drink with a soda. Simple right?.... Oh heck nawl so then a hostess who probably works behinds the counter runs over to our table and looks me at crazy as hell and says...you want more liquor in this drink. The hostess was speaking loud and was trying to hold a tray up to her face while speaking about the drink. this lady was rude!! And this took me by surprise and i asked " Do I sense an attitude!!" Like I told the waiter!! The drink taste like water!!!! Are you serious. The whole table side got quiet.

I will admit we came in over an hour before closing time with 4 people. The waiter was extremely rude. Rushing us to order drinks and food. If it was an inconvenience to seat us, they could have turned us away. If they were that desperate for money at least dont be rude. The chef was much more pleasant considering hes doing more work than the waiter. We basically spent over $100 plus tip to be rushed and treated badly. By the way, five other parties came in after us, I wonder if they received the same treatment. Wont be back. Food was just OK.

1. Host will walk you to your table, however they will give you an assigned seat. (Awful) I should be able to select which chair I want to sit. 2. Ordered chicken and shrimp. Served chicken only. They charged us extra for shrimp on top of charging us for a chicken & shrimp dinner. (chefs mistake, not customer OR waitress) 3. Wasnt impressed by the hibachi chef skills. Food was good. 4. My wine glass stayed full. (My reasoning for the 3 stars, Awesome!) This place could be great, need to train staff and chefs better.

Passing through and craving sushi. Fast service and the tiger roll was very good. For as many pages as the menu was, it still didnt cover all the options the chef made available on the paper slip. Menu was heavily slanted towards derivations of the highest margin rolls (california, crunch, and platters), which hints that management is squeezing their sushi artist for every last dime.

Me and my wife arrived at 8:00 PM. A family of 5 was seated at 8:15 at our table. At 8:50 we still had no cook. I went to the front and told them that I was leaving. He charged me $12.95 for 2 sweet teas soup and salad and never apologized for the slow service or offered to fix the situation. I will never set foot back in that door ever again.

This is my sons favorite restaurant locally for sushi. We celebrate birthdays and academic achievements here over great meals. The food has always been well prepared and delicious. Sushi is always excellent. Service has always an A+ with our family and we have been eating here since 2009. And in 2016 nothing has changed.

Last time we went they served us regular stake when we ordered filet mignon. And worst of all, they charged us for filet mignon yet served us regular stake. Beware of the filet mignon people. Other than that one time, its one of our favorite places to eat.

The food was great but the service was horrible. The show was very plain with 9 people at our table, and no one smiled while addressing the customers. I apologize I did not get her name, however the old lady was very nice and helpful.

It was so good! The chief was funny and kept us entertained until we all had our food. This is the best place for you to eat over some hibachi places. You could hear other people enjoying their time at Nagoya as well.

Service was great. Their Miso is wonderful. Unfortunately the sushi was served at room temperature. Tasted fine, but not what I am accustomed to with sushi. Maybe just a fluke.
