If not for the blaring Christian pop music, Id give it 5 stars and come by for lunch every day. Dont get me wrong - I enjoy listening to Christian music, but lean toward a more traditional sound especially while at church. Whoever is responsible for the music selection assumes everyone enjoys overworked classics that all basically sound the same. The food is fantastic though and the staff are super friendly. As others have noted, the coffee is just ok. Dont leave without trying the Breakfast Skillet, the Ranchero, or the house made potato chips. Also, if you can get out of there without scarfing down 3 or 6 churros, youre a better person than I am.

Kakao is my favorite lunch spot! My husband and I stop there at least once a week. Our favorite menu item is the Gaucho Chicken Sandwich with chipotle mayo, and fried plantains. But, we have tried it all and LOVED it all. Highly recommend this unique family owned and run cafe!

People are friendly. Atmosphere is nice. Power outlets available. Clean. The coffee tastes that it has lost freshness of a recent roast. I had their bold roast and it was missing a depth of flavor. Not roasted locally but shipped in from roaster in Ohio.

Great food. Love breakfast here and using the drive thru before work. Friendly atmosphere but the furniture and decorations do not help with the noise if you are dinning in. Coffee is okay would love to see more varieties or local roasters highlighted.

My wife and I took a friend visiting from Germany for lunch. We all enjoyed the Cuban sandwich, the fried sweet plantains and fried sweet potatoes. All prepared upon request and the flavor cant be beat. Highly recommend this place.

Kakao Cafe is awesome! Reasonably priced and the best breakfast I have had in a while. The bagel sandwich is awesome and the muffins are served fresh and warm! Service is also quick in case you are in a rush. Definitely 5 stars

Finally tried this place today. We had a Mocha, breakfast burrito with chorizo and the omelet avacado sandwich. The food was fresh and tasty and the service was fantastic. We will definitely be back!

Love outdoor tables, the coffee, and friendly atmosphere! Unfortunately, it is very noisy probably because theres no carpet, which is why I head outdoors. Overall, great place!
