Ive been a patron of this restaurant for many years - and I am of the opinion that the quality of the food has steadily declined over the years...... this is especially evident when the restaurant is busy. I went to dimsum this morning and the restaurant was jam-packed full house with a 15-minute wait. I declined to order the $2 pot of chrysanthemum-puer tea - which they provided free of charge during dinner. The fried taro balls and spring rolls were the MOST AWFUL I have ever tasted in ANY Chinese restaurant - the pork used in those items had a off/acrid taste as if it was on the verge of going bad. Although fresh from the kitchen, the spring rolls were a tad on the soggy side and lacked crunch.... in addition to being skimpy on filling. The same complaints go for the fried taro balls. BBQ pork buns (char-siu bao) were TINY, single-bite sized - mostly just dough with puny-sized filling... devoid of flavor. Shrimp har-gow had no flavor and the gelatinous skin fell apart way too easily. Shrimp shiu-mai also lacked flavor AND seasoning. Steamed rice-noodles wrapped with char-siu were also skimpy on filling. Baked BBQ pork (char-siu) triangle-shaped pastries have shrunk in size and lacked seasoning-flavor. The pan-fried daikon squares were the BEST out of 8 items ordered - it had good texture, tasted fresh and deliciously flavorful. With tax and tip - my friend and I paid approximately $35 for sub-par barely edible food and mediocre service. Yes, on my way out, I did provide feedback to the hostess regarding the oddly-tasting pork filling while hoping I would not fall sick from it...

Though this was my first time ever having Dim Sum this place was delicious. The decore was nice service on point and food was always warm. Though at first glance the place doesnt have much to offer nor do they give you a menu so your left a little confuse if you should ask for food or wait but after realizing they come over with an ale cart style of serving you will realise the there way of business. The food, though not to appealing, makes up for the lack of menu for it offers different flavors of goodness from salty pork to sweet pastry desserts! The servers here are very inventive and professional. And the experience is more authentic than most places Ive been. Definitely a good spot to take the family for a Chinese feast.

As soon as my friend and I were seated, they removed the chopsticks from the table (probably because they assumed that we dont know how to eat with chopsticks because were black), while all the other parties ate with chopsticks (they were Asian). We ordered two orders of shrimp fried rice, and received our food after several parties that were seated after us. Never received any refills, the service just felt kinda forced, like they werent sure with how to treat us. The food was okay, and they werent overly hostile, but Im not comfortable going back. They also had a 76 on their health report. Beware.

Keeping this a little short - I want to say that I feel Royal China took a dip on taste of food a few years back, but has gotten better again for both dinner and dim sum. My family usually orders a variety of dishes, and I would say they are consistent. From the garlic lobster, salt and pepper squid, sizzling pepper steak, and my favorite dim sum har gow (shrimp dumplings). I like how they changed their menu to include a lot more high quality pictures as some Chinese to english food items dont always sound too appetizing for the inexperienced. Great for groups and ordering family style.

Ive been going here for quite some years now. The food is delicious! If you ever crave for some Dim Sum, then you definitely should try here. They always have this lobster special promotion, did I mention the lobster is fresh!? Yum! If youre looking for some authentic chinese dishes, then this is the spot. Besides the good food, the customer service is awesome! Every guest gets treated equally and they pay attention to your table needs quite often. Definitely would recommand this place to everyone who want to try some delicious authentic chinese food.

The attendants were very greedy and just wanted you to order a lot but cant finish and then pay an extremely unreasonable bill compared to other dim sum restaurant. Their food is very oily and unhealthy. Their charging is also unreasonable. Small dishes like conjee cost about 4 dollars/each. Very disappointed experience and cant understand why their rating here is high. Incredible.

正宗粵菜,上湯魚滑,牛河,粉絲蒜蓉扇貝,價錢平,出品靓,企堂服務好。可惜離開市中心要半個小時車程,除非自己租車,否則遊客比較難去到

Really good dim sum place. As soon as you enter and grab a seat, they overwhelm you with the choices of dim sum. I counted at least 5 different carts and each card had at least 5 different types of dim sums. So, having someone whos familiar with these choices would help. We just winged it and whatever we tried was really good. Ill definitely go back.

This place has FANTASTIC dim sum. For those of you who havent had dim sum just think of them as tasty Chinese tapas! Small plates (lots of dumplings - the gateway drug!) and items that are meant to be shared are wheeled around on carts and youre free to choose what looks good to you. Very seafood oriented. Love this place!

(Disclaimer: Im only writing about Dim Sum here) Ill be honest that Im not super impressed by any Dim Sum place in Atlanta, but this place is probably your best bet amongst the Buford Highway set. The variety is solid and the food fairly fresh (unlike Canton House). Be prepared for a wait.

Frequent patron, this is an authentic Chinese restaurant, if youre looking for sweet and sour chicken, go to Panda Express. this is NOT that kind of Chinese restaurant. You must be an open minded connoisseur to experience the fine cuisine offered here

I love Royal China. The building doesnt seem new but they are always so nice and the furniture is very fancy. I would suggest the pan fry noodles and the fry rice. I would defiantly suggest this restraunt if your just looking for a nice place to eat.

Worth the drive. Great food and super fast service. Be prepared for at least a 30 minute wait on a Sunday for dim sum. Also be ready to select as soon as you are seated as the carts come fast and furious. Dim sum is served 10 - 3 on Sunday.

One of the best dim sum place in Atlanta. Great selections of food. Good quality, fast service. Dont expect them to be polite and all, but theyre very efficient. If youre looking for great dim sum and fast service, this is the place to go.

We regularly go here for dim sum at lunch or weekend brunch. I think it is the best dim sum in Atlanta. We cant tell how much things cost when we get them but its always about $10/person. I also recommend ordering the snow pea greens.
