Food was decent, but service was far from decent. We walked in, no signs to indicate if we should seat ourselves, or wait for someone. The girl working behind the counter didnt say anything to us, even after we just sat ourselves at the shake counter she was working at. We waited there a solid 5 minutes before she even addressed us. We received our food from another server, and had to flag down another server just to get our drinks. I give it 2 stars bc the place was cute, but a very girly 1950s diner with bubblegum pink and turquoise everywhere. There were only three 50s icons icons plastered multiple times on the walls though which I found humorous. Guess they only liked Elvis, Marilyn, and James Dean.... or they dont really know much about the 50s. Lol

Hwy 55 opened in October of 2015 in Brunswick, Georgia. I tried this 50 s themed burger joint today for lunch. I had the classic cheeseburger, (you get a nice selection of possible toppings, including, grilled onions or bell peppers. Chili, Pickles, and the traditional lettuce, or tomato. ) Service was very good and attentive. The burger arrived promptly with a smile and was juicy and flavorful. Fries were crinkle cut and tasty. An enjoyable meal, but when I asked for the wifi password, I was told its not given out to the public for security reasons. Shame.

i give three stars because the food is good . but we stopped going here because it takes way to long to receive food , and yes i understand if its busy and you want fresher food you will be willing to wait for it . but when there is only a couple familys in there and it takes over a hour for just a burger and fries , thats ridiculous. i kept giving them chances and coming back several times to see if any improvement, but none .wish they would get there act together for i would return . overall if you dont mind the wait times , they have the best burgers in town

Good food, I got the pimento cheeseburger because a customer came into where I work and recommended it. Pimento is admittedly not my favorite thing. I was impressed with this burger though. I also dont like crinkle cut fries but thats a my bad because I didnt ask beforehand, lol. There is another review on here stating not to go around lunch and even on Saturday that holds true. I went around 1:30 and it was so busy! There were like three parties of six in there too.

Disappointing. Atmosphere is good and service was good. Bacon cheeseburger with only mayo came out as a cheeseburger without bacon but with tons of tiny chopped onions. We were sitting at the table closest to the kitchen and were not entertained by our view of a kitchen floor full of dropped fries not being cleaned up. Gravy fries were disappointing as well, as I paid a dollar extra for an order of bland fries with a tiny cup of gravy on the side.

When we sat down it took 10 minutes for us to be seated. Our server told us how she was too busy. I ordered cookies and cream concrete and she told me she didnt like making them. Then she made my friends the wrong flavor ice cream. Also the table, and around us was super sticky! Once we did get our ice cream it was amazing, but I dont know if our be back anytime soon.

When you first walk I the seats are brightly colored and very kid friendly. The service is quick and you may sit where ever you like . the waitresss acknowledges you immediately you have many options for food . you order in they bring you a sample of the ice cream flavor of the day.the food tastes delicious I will recommend it to everyone

The burgers are good; however, the call-in service needs some attention. In order to establish a strong presence in the community, time will need to be spent on PR and hanging up on customers wont help you gain that trust and respect. Although the quality of the food is good, its the customer service that will win loyalty.

Flavorful burgers, great fresh battered onion rings, tasty fries and chili cheese fries! The milk shake state delicious like homemade ice cream. My family really enjoyed the food and the service was great also. It was our first time going and we will be back.

Enjoyed my food both times Ive been here. My waitress the second time was a little bit iffy, but I think its her first job ever being a waitress, so I tried to be extra nice and supportive of her service. It paid off for sure.

Have never had a bad experience. Mike and his staff are extremely curtious and helpful. Food is delish and affordable. It is the best Burger joint around. Hands down best Philly I have had in a long time.

DO NOT go during lunch time(12pm) was there for over an hour. The burgers are great shakes are amazing, but fries and shrimp got cold quickly and waitresses need too work on teamwork.
