Ordered one of the specials 3/27/17, coconut shrimp. They were awful! Worst meal ever. They were way over cooked and hard. I had to cut them with a steak knife! One would think that you could get good seafood at the beach!! The guy next to me ordered another special, beef stew. He said his was awful as well. All of the beef was extremely grissly and fatty. He ate about 25% of it and left in disgust. I have been going here for lunch over several months and the quality of the dishes have been getting worse. Most, if not all, of their vegetable side dishes are way over cooked and mushy. Truly disappointed since the Diner is convenient to Sawgrass CC where we live.It would be wonderful to have a high quality place to get excellent food. Beach Diner is not it!

Ate here while on vacation and was extremely disappointed after reading such great reviews. Service was horrible. The waitress was rude and very snippy. I was there with my two younger children and when they asked her questions about the menu she was annoyed and rushing them. The kids food was less than average. My salad was okay and I paid almost $40 for lunch. I do not recommend this restaurant for someone on vacation looking for a good lunch. It is not near the beach despite the description of the location described on google. Poor service and attitudes!!!!!!!

Not sure why this place is rated 4 stars? Ate breakfast at 10:30 am - had pancakes, eggs and corned beef hash. Everything on the shelf looked like and tasted like it was from Walmart. Tried to make small talk with the servers, but just got straight answers. Ordering just 2 eggs starts at $7 before you add anything else! Food wasnt good, service wasnt friendly, value isnt there, so neither is my review unfortunately. I would rate Metro Diner 4 stars instead.

This is an excellent place to enjoy breakfast. The food was fresh and delicious. I ordered pancakes, bacon, and a side of toast. The bacon was crisp, and the pancakes nearly covered the plate. They were cooked to perfection. The waitress bought the syrup to me in a plastic cup, which limits guests from being wasteful. I added strawberry jam to my buttery toast. This was very yummy. This is my favorite breakfast diner!

I have frequented the diner about 30 times in the past 4 years, experience has always been pleasant. I would recommend getting a table with one of the servers vs at the counter if you want a more personal experience. Im impressed by the young staff on their courtesy and professionalism. Older staff is a little more direct, sometimes thats nice if you want a quick bite without conversation.

The staff is definitely nice and friendly but overall, its just an okay place. The restaurant feels a little dirty (dusty blinds, dirty walls, yucky bathroom). Our breakfast food was only okay - not bad but not great - low flavor. The worst part for me is the TERRIBLE COFFEE!!! I could barely drink half a cup of their coffee because it tasted SO bad. I probably would never go back.

I dont know how anybody could give this place less then 5 stars. If your in a bad mood, the staff will make you smile and help you turn your day around. We had Sam as our server, and hes funny, and was great with our entire family. He doesnt leave a stone unturned or miss a thing. He made our experience amazing. Thank Sam.

Beach dinner is a local dinner chain that serve breakfast and lunch. The food is made up of your standard breakfast and lunch items with a couple Jacksonville themed items. The atmosphere is very Florida beach and boat club themed. Its not too loud to the point where its easy to hold a conversation even if its packed.

Ordered (from ponte vedra beach) the breakfast special with egg whites and turkey sausage and as fast as I could eat it, I threw it right back up. Had knots in my stomach for hours and had to leave work. Ill never eat here again. Flavor pallette next door is amazing.

Ive been to the Beach Diner many times for business and pleasure. It is a staple at the beach. Owned by a wonderful family, the diner has delicious food for reasonable prices. The main thing for summer months is to make sure you have time to wait in line.

We go to beach diner frequently and pick up orders there often. I would highly reccomend their mexican omelet and BLT. They have great service and AMAZING food! The prices are a little high however it is definitely worth it.

Favorite breakfast spot in Ponte Vedra. Never had an item that wasnt tasty. Good coffee, fresh fruit, pretty extensive breakfast menu. Staff is great and always accommodating. Get there early, there is usually a wait!

Great breakfast. I had the Mama Helens fried chicken fingers. Service was friendly and the food was great. This is one of the few places Ive been that can actually cook eggs to the requested over medium.
