Never send your friend to pay for you or their greedy owners will pocket the money and charge you again as you are leaving. You would think that a group of owners who say they are from Mexico would be honest but they work like they are on Wall Street. They do not treat their workers well either. This all makes good sense as to why they would do a thing like this when I look back to a time when I was 12, ordered grouper tacos for take out and realized that I received beef when I got home with my mom. When I called they said,"come back and we will give you grouper tacos for free." I never got grouper tacos free instead I paid full price when I tried. Do not fall into the trap of going to Dollar Taco night...it is not as good of a deal as people give it credit for..If you go to Los Rancheros be prepared for management to feast on you.

My boyfriend and I went here for the first time tonight. We ordered a pitcher of margaritas before we had the opportunity to look at the menu. We only finished half of the pitcher. When we got the bill we were charged for a "large pitcher" which was 9$ more than the "small pitcher." Keep in mind we were never asked which size pitcher we wanted. After explaining this to the MANAGER his reply was "whats your point?" Both my boyfriend and I have worked in restaurants for 10+ years each. I am completely blown away with the service and management here. All I can say is I will never again go back to this pathetic excuse for a restaurant.

Middle of the road--- This is on my way home so we stopped one night around 4pm for dinner. We got seated quickly outside on the patio and ordered chips, guac and salsa. We ordered the beef tacos and a pork burrito for our entrees. The service was good, but the food was meh.. The chips needed salt and so did the salsa plus cilantro or onions, something! The guac was good though. The tacos and burrito were alright, nothing amazing and the beans and rice was alright. My husband didnt feel that well the next day. Unfortunately, we wont be returning but will say the service was good! Theres better Mexican or Tex-Mex around.

My normal Mexican restaurant (La Botana) is closed Sunday so I decided to give this place a try. I had read the other reviews about the bad service but decided to go anyway as maybe it was just a bad day for that customer. It wasnt. I got there and about seven staff were at the front all on their cell phones and no one greeted us. It was awkward. Im not one who cares much about being personable so I went in anyway. The food was mediocre at best and it was hard to get the waiter to come by. I wouldnt recommend this restaurant unless youre fine with bad service and sort of ok Mexican food.

This Mexican restaurant totally disgusting they are not serving real beef it was definitely maybe goat meat ground up, and had a hideous smell to it it. It was watery the Barito was totally cold, watery meat the whole thing is stomach turning ,you would think since it was a Mexican restaurant that they would have real salsa. The salsa is so watery, Definitely out of the can,very hideous also the prices its overpriced you sure only end up paying $2.00 for the the rotten meat they served me,taste it but did not eat it! totally pathetic and stomach turning

I have been going to Los Rancheros for my entire life. I live nearby and my family and I eat there at least once a week. It is the best mexican restaurant I have ever been to. The workers are very kind and the food is made with love and care. The food comes out fast and tastes amazing. I love this restaurant so much and I recommend it to anyone coming to Dunwoody in search for Mexican food.

Ive visited several times for a sit down meal, but this most recent time I wanted take out instead. The waitress who took me order told me ten minutes, but I dont think it took them even five. The food was delicious, the nachos fajitas lasted me two meals, and it even came with free chips and salsa. The margaritas here are excellent too, especially when sitting with a group of friends.

I dont see how this place can still be open after all the years in Dunwoody. Its probably because people that enjoy this place lack taste buds. Was desperate for food and ordered beef enchiladas. The plate was extremely hot and the exterior of the food was warm. Inside the enchilada, it was completely cold. I guess its microwaved.

The 3-4$ tacos are decent and very overpriced . As many people have mentioned , the service is bad and the margaritas are weak . They have a dollar taco day and that is the quality of food and service you should expect here . It took me several months to come back and my stomach hurts so I wont be coming back .

I think the other reviewers must work for the competition. Weve gone to LR for years, always have a good experience and the place is really kid friendly. Pretty good Mex food, good service, good prices. If you go on a weekend night the wait is quite long.

Our go to place anytime we have the urge to eat great Mexican food. Ample selections, fast and very cordial service. Prices are very reasonable and the live music is awesome. A true family run business with fresh, quality products and service.

Not the first time visiting this restaurant. Food tasted good while in a family atmosphere. But it seems a little bit expensive. The menu indicated that they would charge a fee for tables sharing. This isnt a buffet.

I got a chimichamga, and chose the veggie option for the filling. What I got was a fried tortilla with frozen and microwaved broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots inside. Very poor meal. Will not be returning.

This is THE local Mexican restaurant. Everyone in the community loves it. I grew up coming here every week. Love the $1 taco nights every Wednesday. The best authentic Tex-Mex in the area.
