Amazing neighborhood spot with even better hospitality. Coming to Moctezuma is like visiting family with the uncle that is an amazing chef. We started with the jalapeño poppers and while I am not normally a fan these were delicious. We had a group of 4 plus two babies and the hostess (Ruth) did an outstanding job taking care of us. I got the tacos and I loved that you go up to the line of toppings to order. Its like a taco truck in the restaurant! I tried several types of the tacos and all were delicious. We also had the carne asada and the camarones diabla. All dishes were very tasty. As we were eating the chef brought out an amazing shrimp dish with garlic, olive oil, and crushed pepper.

Plenty to say about this place. Part of a party of 18 and they could not handle us on a Saturday night. There may have been 8 other people dining. Servers were fine when you could get one. Place is not sure which Mexican restaurant route they want to take. TexMex or authentic. Neither was good. Just too pricey. The threat of charging for your 2nd basket of chips on 7 of 8 pages of the menu. Pretty sure we were not charged for the extra chips due to their slowness.

We had a terrible experience here- ordered margaritas that were so sweet that we couldnt drink them and our server dropped off the margaritas and never came back. We left after half an hour of no service (we were the only patrons)... who knows if the food was even good as we didnt even get the opportunity to try it. Would advise you to do the same.

eaten here twice now, theyve come along way since they first opened. I would have given it 2 stars based off of my first experience, but we decided to give it another try. Food was great, staff was very friendly from our waitress to the bartender who told me I had to try the skinny margarita. Will be coming back again

Overall not a great experience. Fajitas were so heavily seasoned they came out looking and tasting more like Chinese food than Mexican. Margaritas were very expensive and tasted awful. They give you the first basket of chips free and charge you $1.25 for subsequent ones. We wont be back.

This place is amazing. Especially on thursday after 6pm! $1 tacos and $2 draft beer, includes sweetwater 420 as a $2 draft. If you need a cinco de mayo day place they also are having a celebration here. Great food, great atmosphere. Shout out to christian for being the man!

excellent food, a little slow, but not bad. Waitress was very friendly and helpful, food was well above average for tex/mex. Best salsa ever.
