Pettiness with returning customers. Were long time fans of Hankook. After several months we returned to find a few changes in quality, and major changes in service. Tacos taste as good as we remember even with minor changes to the quality of the ingredients. Service was disappointing. Spend nearly 25 dollars on our lunch, including a tip, only to find out their tasty sauces now cost an extra 25 cents. Being thats its 2016 we had long since retired our coin purses. Ok, well at least youll take my debit card, right? Nope, they dont run cards for 25 cents. Well, after 3 years of being loyal customers, after the countless times weve recommended their location, this is the pettiness were received with. Management wasnt responsive or understanding, insisting they had signs that made things clear. To our surprise they brought us a small container of ketchup making us vow to tell them if we wanted extra next time. All that commotion just to get enough ketchup to finish their normal serving of fries. DONT EAT HERE IF YOU LOVE KETCHUP, UNLESS YOURE FILTHY RICH IN POCKET CHANGE. What a shame, I used to like this place.

Ive been going here since I moved to the area about a year ago, and Im always extremely happy with the food and the staff. The owner is ALWAYS there behind the counter, cooking and helping serve, and hes extremely nice to his employees, as well (not required, but definitely a bonus as someone who used to work food service and retail). My partner loves the Tong Dak special (its a chicken based taco with aioli, I think), and they have it on special frequently. The french fries are AMAZING, and they roll them in spices, as well as making a chipotle ketchup thats kind of smoky and spicy and altogether fantastic. I cant speak enough praise of Hankook. One word of caution is that if you dont have an adventurous palate, you might not like it, but I would recommend that anyone in the area give it a shot. PS - about two tacos each fills me and my partner up, but go ahead and over-order, if you think youre able to eat more.

Yumbii has been my go-to food truck since they hit the streets. Being the first food truck in Atlanta, they hold a special place in my heart. And Hankook doesnt disappoint! The location is in an industrial-looking side of Collier Dr. I had never been down that far. Parking lot is a little cramped and hard to get out of. I went for lunch and apparently went at the right time (as soon as they opened...your girl was hungry) because it quickly filled up with the area lunchers. They have all of your favorites from the truck and then some. I tried a new one (for me) - the crispy shrimp korean taco. Very tasty. I also had the chicken and my crack - the sesame fries. They were both great as they are with the truck as well. ATTN: Heed the signs at the trash that tell you to not throw the baskets away. I may or may not have had an accident with one. :-/

This little restaurant sits in a place where you could easily overlook it but if you can, take the time to seek this place out. Hankook serves a tasty assortment of Korean tacos that have refreshingly not endured too much fusing with American tacos. You can generally find a 6" taco for $2.25 with good meats in great sauces. $2.25 for a delicious, decently sized taco is a college students dream, or the dream of anyone who wants a quick, ready snack. Some of their specialty tacos are a little more expensive but nothing ever unreasonable. I have yet to try all their tacos but all the types Ive had so far have been extremely enjoyable and satisfying. The interior is a little spartan but this is a honest-to-goodness taco joint, not something from the Buckhead Life. There isnt too much parking though but every time Ive gone, it has never been a problem.

The food was great but our customer service experience was terrible. I brought my mother here since she was visiting from out of town. We saw the place on a TV show and love to got to places off the beaten path. They brought everything to the table and loudly commented that we ordered a lot of food. My mother, myself And my husband were sort of taken a back. Here I thought the more people order the better it is for your business. We had tons left over and my husband went up to get some to-go boxes and whoever was behind the counter told him with all the food we ordered we needed more than one to- go box. Its just rude. We tried several items on the menu because we were so excited about the place, but had I known we would be shamed for doing so I would have taken my mother somewhere else. We will not be back.

Big Portion Size, Small Buck After seeing this place on Food Networks Best Thing I Ever Ate, I decided to check it out. The food was fantastic. I ordered the bibim-bop. It is a beef plate served with rice topped with a fried egg. If you like the yoke fully cooked, you may want to let them know, but the ooziness was just right for me. The beef was seasoned well. Great food. The sesame fries were also delicious. Theyre seasoned with a special seasoning although mine were a little cold, but thats okay because the sauce served with the fries is fantastic. At first it tastes like ketchup but them you get a little of the tang and then the sweet. Ah, the sauces are phenomenal. I will be visiting again really soon,

AWESOME !!! I had taco of each (beef, pork, fish, shrimp, calamari) minus the tofu. Each one was incredibly good. The sauces they use are extremely tasty and make each bite very enjoyable. The fries, as advertised, were great as well ! Service was very warm and friendly and quick. Manager was walking around and very hospitable. The place is a little grainy, but I really do not mind that at all. It gives off like a step back in time --- circa 1970s or 80s. Definitely coming back. Place was packed because word obviously got around that this place is simply.... other words...AWESOME .

I love getting the bibimbap here - granted, it doesnt taste as good as the bibimbap youll find on Buford Highway, but its decent and it only costs $7! The portion is huge so youll likely be able to feed yourself two times. The parking lot is tiny and shared so make sure youre parking in a spot that is meant for the restaurant - otherwise you could potentially get ticketed. Theres usually a line if you go during a busy time but they are fairly quick. The staff always seem to be nice. Highly recommend this place if youre looking for a quick (and cheap) place to grab some food.

4.5 stars! The staff was sweet. I love their buffalo chicken taco, the best Ive had in Atlanta and its worth it! I usually only get meat cheese and sauce and my taco usually is so bare unless I pay for extra but here they make up for me not getting everything else. I also had the pull pork taco is was just good, I wouldnt get it again but its definitely good and if someone liked pork itd tell them to get it! I like the sesame fries with the ketchup! I even liked it the next day. I put the taco and fries on broil in the oven and it was still really good!
