I wont be going here again. I didnt complain in person, which might be more conducive to positive change, but I wasnt about to do that at someone elses birthday party. I was in a party of 12 which had reservations due to our size. We were seated at tables lined up for 8 and told "Its a full house so we only have this many tables". We crammed together and didnt think much of it. Well the bad planning didnt stop there. It took close to 15 mins for the waitress to show up and start taking drink orders. For some reason she took two orders, stopped, disappeared for five minutes, and started over. Weird. Well almost a half hour goes by before our drinks show up ... thankfully we did at least have water up until then or we might have walked out. She takes our food order shortly after she brings out our drinks. It takes over an hour for our food! To top it off the pork belly taco was not only unimpressive and bland, I quit eating it as soon as I got to the second piece of bone ... which should not even be in pork belly! ... another cut was probably used. To top it all off I saw a cockroach on the floor as we were leaving. Stepped on it and had to have my girlfriend avoid the squashed mess on her way around the table. I understand that Friday night is a busy night but there is no excuse to sit a large party at a table and expect them to cram in ... wait for another four people to leave and make a proper table. Looks like they place too much focus on getting as much income as they can vs. making for a good experience. Same goes for the amount of time it took for food and drink. Either the wait staff is lazy/slow or understaffed/slammed. Make sure you have the appropriate amount of staff on hand for a Friday night ... it isnt rocket science. Again looks like a profit>service issue. Finally. Make sure if you are selling a pork belly taco, you use pork belly. If it was pork belly Im left wondering where the heck small bones came from. One thinks of all the asian/cat stereotype jokes.

We went with a party of seven people at 7:00pm on a Thursday night. While there is no denying that the food was delicious and the unique blend of flavors and fresh ingredients did make for a good meal, the service, well the service was just terrible. They were friendly enough, and polite, but VERY disorganized. After the initial round of drinks were brought we couldnt get another round, ever. Twice someone tried to bring us food that wasnt for our table, she was clearly confused. One person had his food come out a full 15 minutes before the rest of the table, then another person didnt get her whole order and was then charged for it anyway. Ok. Ok so they were busy. So cut them some slack right? But you see, getting our food wasnt the hardest challenge, getting out of there was. It took an entire hour (not an exaggeration) from the time we finished our meal until the time we walked out the door. (Did I mention couldnt get another beer to save your life?) We waited so long that I finally had to get up and go and find our server and ask for the checks, then 10 minutes later once the checks were dropped off, he never came back to get them. Sadly I had then had to walk up our checks and hand them to him while he was chatting with another table. Embarrassing for me, because I did not want to have to do that, but after an hour, I wasnt sure how much longer our party could wait. Bad experience. The place could be really great if they just got their act together.

This was actually my fourth time at this restaurant. The first 3 times were great, otherwise my experience last night would have killed any hope of me ever coming to this restaurant again. So.... I love the vibe of this place. Im a fan of delicious spicy food, and their "spicy red sauce" is delicious! The apricot chicken appetizer was our favorite. Skip the sesame fries. The nachos are good, but geez louise they really pile the "tako salad" on. Tako salad = lettuce, red sauce, and some other stuff. Its good, but its clearly their favorite condiment. Most recent experience: Everyone enjoyed their tacos (I got the pork belly, chicken, and beef.) Other items ordered were the quesadilla & Bulgogi. The Bulgogi was REALLY good. The quesadilla (and numerous) other items were covered in red sauce even though the menu didnt say they came with red sauce. We suspect that since we came in during the last hour, they just put it on everything. Our server, after delivering spectacularly slow service and issuing numerous excuses ("its a Korean restaurant. Everything is spicy.") was subpar at best. Every other server Ive had was amazing. Maybe you just shouldnt go on Tuesday nights. Oh and dont try to walk down an aisle while a server is walking the same aisle. Theyll literally try to run you over and glare at you while youre doing it. Or maybe that was just my experience. Ill be back and sit on the patio.

I went here on $2 Tako Tuesdays and it was pretty dang awesome for the price. I was a little overzealous on this trip and got a lot of things to try with my friends. We got the sesame fries, sticky chicky, beef taco, pork taco, calamari taco, and the KFC (Korean Fried Chicken) taco. For dessert, I got the Fried Elvis Ice Cream. Everything was pretty good, but there are some worth mentioning more than others. The sesame fries were great! Id recommend them. It was a little more sweet than Id like it, but other than that it was probably better than Yumbis fries. The sticky chicky was great, but our waitress didnt bring us silverware for the longest time. We all ended up eating it with our hands. Yes, they were sticky chickys. Waitress noticed and brought us napkins still with no silverware. We asked 3 separate servers before we got some silverware after finishing half of our food. Other than service was pretty good. The tacos were good, but I definitely didnt need 4 tacos after the 2 apps. The four combined was again too much sweetness for me. Dial it back a notch and itd be perfect. Heres the most important part of this review: save room for Elvis. The bananas were slightly crispy and nice and warm contrasting the cold peanut butter ice cream on top of a crunchy shell. I highly recommend it, but make sure you have several friends cause its huge.

Was excited to try the place and went there with my boyfriend. We ordered some tacos and the bulgolgi quesadilla. Long story short, tacos were great, the veggies and meat in the belly taco were fresh and accentuated by the gochujang sauce. However, the bulgolgi quesadilla was nowhere near what bulgolgi tastes like ._. The kimchi thrown into it squeezed all of the moisture out of the quesadilla and since kimchi is supposed to be sour with a bitter aftertaste (which is best as a side on its own anyway), it made the entire quesadilla just taste pickled and bitter. The tacos and quesadilla are the only two things I have tried, so I cant speak for much. I recommend the manager hire more Korean and Hispanic chefs, or consult Korean chefs for advice. The idea of the fusion of foods is great, but some of the food itself needs some work. The service and atmosphere itself were itself a 5 stars, because Im not picky with these two things.
