A little on the pricey side but they have great drinks and food selection. We got the Kim Jong-Il combo for 5 people which we were told might not be enough for all of us. The different meats with the combo were all very unique in flavor and style. It game with your typical sesame oil, chili paste and garlic condiments as well some Korean sides. They were all delicious and tender in their own way. We added a couple of tapas dishes to compliment our main meal. We tried the garlic shrimp and Kimchi Mac&Cheese as an appetizer. The garlic shrimp was delicious but only had 3 large shrimp which made it hard to share. The Kimchi was a great twist on the Mac&Cheese and even though it was a decent portion, was quickly gobbled down. We also split the Lava cake and Fried Oreo deserts. Overall the bill was ~$200 which seemed decent for this classy joint and the very happy full customers.

Char offers great service from friendly staff. The kimchee is good. The grilled meat selection is decent and the meat is of good (but not great) quality. It is the best Korean restaurant within a 5 mile radius. Relative to an average Korean restaurant in New York, New Jersey or Los Angeles, the food is just edible. The main issue with this and many other Korean restaurants in Atlanta is that the flavor of many dishes are watered down to cater to local clientele: too much sugar & very little garlic and spring onions and other Korean spices. Kimchee chigae for example was a watery broth made by boiling kimchee and tofu (tofu was optional, seriously). Banchan was also non-authentic, with very little flavor and using non-Korean greens (kale???). Its the best Korean option in the neighborhood but its nothing memorable.

Was really anticipating experiencing this place. Went with a party of 3 on a Saturday night and all in all it was a great experience. The menu was slightly hit or miss. There were some traditional Korean items that were surprisingly authentic and delicious like the kimchi stew but also some that were not so authentic. Was not impressed with the banchan selection, I think if they kept it more Korean it wouldve been much better. Also cant believe they charge $6 for it, only because it simply wasnt worthwhile. Thats a disappointment considering what a huge staple it is in a Korean meal. Also, I would suggest that if this were a real Korean bbq restaurant they would have cold buckwheat noodles on the menu. Something I was missing from the experience. Otherwise the meat quality and other side items were fine.

Not worth the price. Their one serving for meat is 85grams (3oz) which is not even half of one serving portion for usual Korean style BBQ, and its still about the same price. (They kindly explain that you would have to order at least two servings per person.) They say its because they serve organic meat but unfortunately the taste was even worse than the price. The server also used the same tongs and grill for both beef and pork, which is not so sanitary. Every menu was pretty much overpriced, especially their banchan and stew. The kimchi fried rice was okay, but the kimchi stew was awful. After having $120 worth of dinner, we still had to pay for the parking since there was no parking validation. The servers were nice tho :)

This place surpassed our very diverse group of people exception. We were in Atlanta for a conference and wanted to get out of the Georgia Congress Center area for dinner. With people representing several different countries, Ivory Coast, Dominican Republic, Italy, South Korea and couple of American states, we thought it was going to be hard for this place to meet our expectations. But this place surpassed our expectations in experience, taste and with serves - costumers interaction. With a very modern and clean store front this place will not disappoint you!

Really good food, awesome atmosphere and servers..... but the price does not match the meal. Im a bit disappointed, because a meal for two that costs $160 with tip seems a lot if Im leaving hungry. We got a drink, the $80 combo (~9oz meat per person), and 2oz of the A5 (which I am skeptical was actually A5 wagyu... it was far more fat than meat. Very tender, very buttery.... but a definite let down... and certainly not worth $40) But all my complaining aside, it was a very good meal. Just one that seems more in the $100-$120 range rather than $160.

Simply Amazing! From our hostess (Sabrina) to our server (Kayla), who were more like Guest Concierge than normal wait staff. They both made the experience truly memorable. They served a great variety and amount of food to be grilled on the small table top grills. I would recommend going with one of the combo platters because it makes ordering much easier. Even though the tables were small the food and experience will help you forget. Because of the great ambiance, music, food and people my friend and I will be back for more!

Stand up and applaud bulgogi lovers. In this traditional Korean BBQ eatery with youthful artistic flair you have the best parts of Iron Age, Breakers and 678... parked well inside the perimeter. Whether you chose a kitchen cooked and/or grill-it-yourself meal, regulars to the northeast corridor will be at home with the prices and easily recognize the attention to quality. After the word gets out, seating will no doubt be a vanishing prospect, so enjoy this secret before it is everyones must-visit list.

The atmosphere is amazing, the staff is very attentive; everything is great including the food! Im from Florida and this is definitely going to be my go to Korean BBQ place when I come to Georgia. We sat outside and they provided blankets and moved the heaters to surround us. They were great! Im in love with this place. Eric was our server and he was fantastic; he talked and joked with us and explained the menu to us.

They are currently unable to use their table grills due to city code changes so I was very disappointed as it was main reason to go. They cooked everything in the kitchen at once so the meat got cold as we ate. Pork belly was too fat and much of the meat was bland. The service was great. It got very loud about 7:30 and 3 of us just stopped trying to talk bc we couldnt hear each other.

This place is way, WAY too expensive for what you get. The decor is great, and the food isnt bad by any means, but you can spend SIGNIFICANTLY less and get much better Korean food if you go to practically any restaurant in Duluth. As a side note, my server (I think her name was Ava?) was awesome. She was really friendly, accommodating, and happy to give suggestions.

This was my first time eating Korean BBQ and our first time eating here. It was on the list for Inman Park Restaurant Week and eating here was a great decision. The decor was very cool. The music selection was hot, and Rated R. Our server was great. And the food was wonderful. AND I think you can bring your furbaby companions since they have a patio.

it was super packed on a Sunday night and I totally understood why. Fortunately, we were about to get a seat at the bar. David was our bartender and he was great and very attentive. First time drinking "Soju"...some guy bought a bottle and gave me three shots. WOW so good! I have to come to this place really soon. A GEM!
