Stopped by today for the lunch special ($5.55 for Entree with pork fried rice and a soda) and it was by far the best Chinese food Ive ever had. I ordered the Sesame chicken and only had to wait about 8 minutes for take out. The smell alone was mouth watering. The rice is very similar to hibachi style and just as good as you would get in a hibachi restaurant, the chicken was one of the best Ive eaten. It was tender, sweet, savory, everything you want when eating Sesame chicken, and it practically melted in my mouth. The portion was very large for the price, very easily two meals for me (although I ate a lot more than half because of how good it was). Ive tried several other locations in the area and theyve all been subpar, this one really takes the cake though. Its a fairly small space with only two tables and seats for takeout, so Id highly recommend getting the food to go.

Very happy with the food and experience. Very reasonable pricing and fast take out service. Hot and sour soup much better, as is the veggie lo mein. Yummy mongolian beef too. Will try the Gen Tso chicken and spicy Hunan beef next time. Hands down better than any other $5 + lunch-to-go out there. Strongly recommend for University Blvd area pros looking for a fast tasty healthy lunch on the cheap. Just make sure to go after 11:30am... cuz I go at 11am. :)~~

Honestly I dont understand all the positive reviews. The only good thing about this place is the reasonable pricing. Otherwise it is extremely dirty and smelly. The food is just the typical chinese glutamate-filled mediocrity you will find anywhere else. We had broccoli beef (smelled old and looked mushy) and sesame chicken (over fried, too crunchy) for take out. We had to dispose it after a few bites. The girl at the counter wasnt friendly.

This place has the best Chinese food Ive found since moving to Orlando/Winter Park. Its a super small, family owned place. Its not somewhere that you want to go for a sit down meal, theres no space for that. They specialize in takeout, and they do it well. The prices cant be beat, they always have your food ready quick, and if you get enough food they give you free drinks or soup (go with the soup, its so delicious).

Good food, nice people, reasonable prices. Honestly, being from New York and knowing good Chinese food it, was hard finding a good place when I moved here back in 92. But then someone recommended He Sheng several years ago and Ive been going ever since. This place is close to my office, but not to my home and I still make the drive from home. My number one fave is the wonton soup.

I cant BELIEVE that Ive lived right across the stinking street for 3 years, and Ive just NOW tried this place! Im from the DMV area, so Chinese food is a staple :) This place is AMAZING! Usually I dont eat Chinese food, but today I got pork lo-main, I eat a little bit and immediately my stomach started churning and making lots of noises. I have been going to the bathroom since and have diarrhea. Never again! Food is to salty, to greasy. NASTY!! Why so many positive reviews? This is one of the reasons americans suffer from lots of illness!!!

He Sheng does a great job. Food is always hot and fresh and not as oily as some of the Chinese takeouts in the area. Good portion of meat for the price. My only recommendation is if you order an item that usually comes with a side of sauce (Mu Shu pork or steamed items on the "Diet" menu, for example), make sure its in the bag before you leave.

I have been going here for years and their food is the best. My favorite dish is their Sesame Chicken but you cant go wrong with their General Tso either. They make the best fried rice anywhere. Their lunch special is reasonably priced and they give you plenty for your money. I highly recommend this place for Chinese take out.

The absolute best chinese ever!! I had gotten general tsos chicken combo and it was definitely home made. The chicken wasnt hard or chewy. It was perfect and there was so much flavor! Even the fried rice reminded me of hibachi restaurants. I highly recommend this place over every chinese place!

Excellent Chinese take out. The decorations and sign need updated but the food is consistently excellent and very affordable. I definitely love the general tso chicken, sesame chicken, wonton soup, and house special lo mein in particular. This is my go to for good Chinese.

I dont understand the positive reviews. The place smelled disgusting to the point that while I paid for my food, I immediately threw it in the nearest trash can at a gas station on the way home and got something else to eat. Seriously it was that bad.

I love this place. They stay open late (10:30). The portions are HUGE. The food tastes great, the staff is polite and they have coupons for free items depending of the amount spent. No delivery but its worth driving to it.

Lo mein was pretty bland, the portion was pretty generous though. Dumplings werent bad but overall I think China chef across the street has better food.
