The best local Chinese place, by far. They operate like a local small town restaurant, that is to say, they recognize you when you come back, the happily accommodate custom orders, theyre friendly, and consistent. This is the only Chinese restaurant I eat at in town, and not for a lack of options. Ive tried other places, but theres really no competition. Theyve been voted best Chinese Restaurant in our local newspapers annual Best Of competition for years now, and theres a reason. Everything Ive had is great, but I tend to get the Mushroom Chicken, or the Szechuan Chicken. If you like spicy mustard, ask for the House Mustard. I dont think its on the menu, but its so good, and so spicy.

Theres a Green Tea Chinese in Jacksonville that Ill always look forward to going to. This location, however, thats a lot closer to home, is a close second. The family that operates it is always a joy to see. The children are kind and helpful and the woman who I presume to be the mother radiates kindness. The food always tastes fresh, a cut above the rest in St. Augustine and takeout in general. Its clear that very few items are prepared via precooked or frozen means. Theres always a degree of it in the Chinese takeout industry, but this location seems to minimize it so you can taste the freshness.

wow, this is the best chinese food in st. augustine. i moved here from tx a yr ago, and haved tried just about every place and have hated them all. so i gave up..then last night, i read all these great reviews and i decided to try it..wow, amazing food, just how it should be. i am even giving a 5 star rating even tho the sweet delivery girl couldnt find my house and my husband met her at the gas station :) amazing food, will order there from now on

The best food in town...the family who runs it are incredibly friendly with amazing service...I order there all the time and only once did they forget something in my order...but once we let them know...they quickly offered to drive to our house and bring it to us...like I said...amazing family business! :)

Was going to go next door to the dragon cafe, until I read the reviews. So 8 tried Green Tea and WOW best Chinese food i can remember. Fresh veggies. Big shrimp. Great portions and flavours... try it u will love it. Had the hot and sour soup Curry shrimp house chow mein and the chefs specialty with garlic

What is not to love about this Green Tea? The food is amazing the staff are awesome and the sweetest plus you call in an order and after while they know you by voice as well as what you usually order. I highly recommend this establishment to everyone :)

A friend of mine recommended my visit; it was awesome. The food was fresh; the people were friendly and worked hard; the place was clean and well decorated. No wonder they have Best of St. Augustine 2010 and 2011! Great job Green Tea; Ill be back!

This is a great place for Chinese food. Its fresh, flavorful, and the place is clean. It is run by a hard working family and they are always nice and courteous. I wish they had a second location north of town, but its definitely worth the drive.

The cook is very picky about the vegetables, i.e. youll never see yellow broccoli florets & the snow peas are crisp. His cooking style is light; not weighed down in oil. A local favourite for fast service, delicious food at a reasonable price.

Hands down the best Chinese food in Saint Augustine. The family that runs the restaurant is extremely polite and engages with their customers. I recommend the Curry shrimp and the Szechuan Chicken.
