I had a perfect experience here the other day. I had my one-year old with me. She was not on her best behavior, but rather than getting dirty looks from the staff like I usually experience when she acts like that, the manager came over and talked to her and everyone was very understanding towards my cranky toddler. Melinda was our server. She was very delightful. We started our meal with a Monster Cinnamon Roll which was the perfect starter for my sister and I. It was delicious! After we enjoyed that start to our meal, I had the Floridian which is an omelette with crab meat. I am more of a traditional breakfast kind of person, but after seeing the menu I was stuck between the lobster and brie omelette or the Floridian. After asking which was Melindas preference, she assured me the Floridian had a bit more flavor and it was TO DIE FOR! Probably the best omelette Ive ever had honestly. I also sprang for the upgraded Mediterranean potatoes which could not have been any better. They are an explosion of flavor in your mouth, and cooked to a crispy preparation. I dont recall the name of my sisters breakfast, but she also really enjoyed her food. As I said, I am a more traditional breakfast kind of girl, and stick to hole-in-the-wall diners most of the time, because chain breakfast places are usually overpriced and disappoint. Thank you very much ABEC for the wonderful experience and the delicious food!

Quick staff and good food I should preface all of my reviews with the fact i am very easily pleased. Now the breakdown: Venue. Well lit and open floor plan, I had brunch here around 11:20 am on a tuesday and it was fairly busy. That said from my seat the ambient noise was not overpowering and my booth felt private enough for my comfort. Food and drink: The Southwest scrambler i ordered was excellent and the portion size was not overfilling. The coffee is very strong here, so if you have a history of trouble with stronger coffee i would reccomend adding whatever you choose to weaken it, that said it is delicious. Service: Prompt amd friendly overal. I was attended to by the waitress within minutes of being seated. (enough time to look through the menu) and while not interrupting me as I ate, the waitress did monitor my table for any needs as she passed by. All in all a positive experience. And worthy reccomendation to anybody seeking a pleasant morning meal.

The food was good however when the food is slow and you still dont have coffee refills or any attention it makes for a very bad dining experience. Upon our order being taken we probably waited over 30 min and never saw our waitress the entire time to check on us or offer drink refills. Upon the food being dropped by the time we were checked on again, we had mostly eaten. What happened to the first bite check back rule? Many other tables ignored as well and not every table seated but they said short on staff. I talked to manager who seemed stressed. This place will not survive if the service remains this bad and they are priced high for breakfast so service needs to be equivalent. I told the manger if food is running slow at least have people communicating (and not hiding) food is late and check on tables, pour coffee, etc. Great job for hostess when slammed.

My party of 2 waited 15 to 20 minutes for brunch. like we were told. The party of 2 who gave their name directly in front of us were seated. Then another party of 2. Then another party of 2 who had arrived after us. What is going on? After making a complaint the manager said she had a table and said we could be seated now "if we were ready." They said sometimes the system makes mistakes then blamed it on the no wait app. The food here is certainly not worth the wait and the excuses for not seating us in order were unacceptable. They restaurant did comp our brunch but the damage has been done. My family, friends and I will not be back.... there are way too many other places to choose from.

If I could rate them a zero I would. This place is full of rude employees who have no idea how to clear empty tables and seat people. I was told 30 minutes originally and now 1 hour and 45 minutes later there are still empty tables and we are still waiting. When I ask how much longer they say a a half hour. I reminded them that is what they said a half hour ago and they tell me it is a guess that they really dont know. Thanks for ruining my first Mothers Day without my mom when my kids were just trying to cheer me up. I will never come back. I recommend others have at least four hours of they want to eat here and you must enjoy employees who are indifferent.

I had a reservation and the front end staff did not adequately plan for my party. We ended up waiting over 20 minutes and watched as another hostess sat people at our table once it was cleaned. When asked, the hostess said another table was planned for us who were looking at menus and had not even received their food yet. We ended up leaving and eating at another restaurant in the plaza. Very disappointing because the food is usually delicious.

My wife has a gluten sensitivity so we are always on the lookout for GF friendly places. ABE is one of them. For no extra charge if you get a scrambler they will substitue silver dollar sized gf pancakes for the English muffin. Its a heavy breakfast but usually very good. We like to sit outside. Their coffee is very good and ask for coconut cremer too. Nice location with some shopping nearby for a fun little date morning.

Melinda saved the day! I will start off by stating, restaurants that place seating near the servers work area and kitchen are taking the risk of getting bad reviews not to mention a safety hazard. I cant say how many times my daughter and I had to lean our heads from large overpassing serve trays. I understand load factor for maximum profit but not at the cost of bad reviews or the potential liability. As for the service

Dont go if you have more than 4 in your party. They dont have any tables made for more than 4 people. Apparently they cant push tables together either. We watched group after group of 2, 3 and 4 people being sat ahead of us because we had 5. Meals were a mixed bag. Some good, some mediocre. Ended up being a very ok, somewhat expensive experience. If only they had Swiss cheese....?

Atmosphere is relaxing. Huevos Rancheros are Delicious! Pair this meal with a Mimosa and your DAY is set! The Mimosas are a little over priced, but are made perfect. I usually sit outside since its well shaded and there are plenty of fans for a nice breeze. Everyone is friendly. I wish they would stay open a bit later then 2:00 pm, but besides that I am a frequent visitor!

Good breakfast choices. I would say its a more interesting unique type of menu, not diner food. You can get just a plate of bacon and eggs if thats all you want but you would be missing out on some of their tasty creations. The price matches the menu. About $40 for two entrees a coffee and bloody Mary so not terrible. Give it a shot.
