A quaint little family diner style restaurant in this sleepy little town. The cafe is very family friendly (there were no less than 3 toddlers at any time during my visit, and they were all well accommodated,) and it was obvious by the atmosphere that the breakfast crowd could easily be described as "the regulars." That being said, the wait staff were very nice and made me feel at home, calling me "hon," and, "sweetie," despite my not being a regular. The decor is country themed, with lots of little farm animals and old farm tools decorating the walls. It is a nice style, but it doesnt really sell the idea of "country kitchen" to me. Then there is the food. The price is fine for what you get, but none of it really wowed me. The eggs were not bad (over medium is a little challenging, and they pulled it off,) the country ham was just a little overdone, the hash browns tasted like hash browns, and the pancakes Im pretty sure were frozen and thawed. The pancakes by far were the most disappointing. They were advertised on the menu as something that would potentially fill me up as part of a "belly buster breakfast." But when they arrived, they were not even half the size of they plate they were sitting on. Im sorry, but even Dennys makes pancakes larger than the span of my hand anymore. All things considered, the Ocoee Cafe is perfectly fine for what you get. Good service in a friendly atmosphere with food that youd come to expect from any average breakfast diner. Unfortunately, the one thing it lacks is that extra little something to make it stand out from its competition - Dennys, Perkins, and the like. There is no reason in my mind for me to go to the OC over the other two options, other than maybe supporting local business? But at the very least if you go to the OC you wont be disappointed. Youll get exactly what you are expecting.

I understand why locals like this place. I like familiar things too. However, sometimes you need to stop and look around and say maybe we should change things up just a bit. My biggest issue with Ocoee Cafe was the arrival experience. The sign outside (see associated picture) is really cool and had me excited. However, we walked in and was greeted by an employee sitting at another table to, "find a seat." After that, we waited and waited for first contact from our waiter. The food was good, but I couldnt get past the unwelcome welcome and the not so subtle need to spruce up the place.

The best breakfast we have ever had in America really nice fresh home cooked food. We usually stay on international drive but wanted to find a small family owned real dinner to get a taste of real America instead of all the franchise on international drive. Well worth the 20 minutes drive towards Winter gardens great food and really friendly staff and locals next time we are over we will definitely go back 10 out of 10

My family and I came here for a down to earth family feel diner. We loved the coffee and like the food. We got thw breakfast works from pancakes to biscuits and gravy. The waitress was also super friendly and helpful. I did feel the prices were okay.
