Terrible experience. I had been here once before the the experience was great but not recently. I never post bad reviews but this ruined my proposal. Walked in and it was completely dead on a Saturday night, which should have told us something. There were a total of 3 tables being served. Our server was very condescending from the very beginning. Fake kindness which was very obvious. She looked annoyed and irritated to wait on us. She didnt even give us a chance to speak. We had been ready to order but as soon as I ordered the appetizer she walked away without giving us a chance to say we were ready to order. Every time we had a question, she would just turn and walk away and seemed angry. I thanked her every time she came around and she didnt say ANYTHING!!!! Not "youre welcome", not "no problem", NOTHING!!! She had an attitude the entire time and kept getting our order wrong. The vibe was completely negative. It ruined my engagement. A once in a lifetime occasion.

Carmel in Winter Park was absolutely Fabulous!! A few weeks ago, I was in desperate need of finding a restaurant to hold my reception dinner. After visiting several restaurants up and down Orlando Ave, my matron of honor and I walked into the Carmel restaurant to see if they could accommodate our group. From the time we walked in we knew this would be the place. The service was phenomenal. Adam D. was simply amazing. Not only did he personalize a menu for my event, but he made a stressed out bride to be, feel like the most important person in the world. Fast forward to the wedding day, the food and service were amazing. My guests and I loved every moment. Needless to say, my new husband and I now have an amazing anniversary dinner spot for many years to come. Thank you Adam, and staff for making our event a memorable one!

Carmel is really a very unique dining experience. Their wine list is fairly large and they offer small pour sizes to build your own flight. Our second time there, we arrived just before 7 to enjoy happy hour white wine at $4, along with an appetizer for a few dollars. Their menu has significantly improved since the last time, as I noticed a Tunisian Chicken with mashed cauliflower and string beans. It was very good. Id have it again. I enjoyed it much more than the chicken skewers I had the first time. Their menu is on an iPad, and you can order items at any time through it. I really loved that option, though the menus UX isnt the best. I do enjoy pictures of all the food...that always helps sell me. Will continue to come back here for sure.

Great food and sophisticated ambiance, and most importantly, 5-star service from the moment you walk in. From the burger to the steak to the seafood risotto, everything was delicious! My wife and I had dinner here tonight and had a very minor issue, barely worth mentioning, but when our server found out she had the manager and chef both at our table to apologize and ensure everything was up to their standards. Mind you, the food was great and we didnt send anything back, but they went above and beyond to make sure our experience was satisfactory. We will come again for the food and atmosphere, but well come for life for the service. Thanks to the whole staff!

The restaurant was nicely decorated, staff was friendly and had a good feel when walking in. The down side was when our starters arrived.... another waiter was right behind with the main dishes. That was a mess up and we knew if you sent it back it would just sit. I ordered Rustic Chicken with yellow rice and a friend the same but with veggies. The dishes came out with just chicken on the plate. Another friend ordered the burger, with no lettuce or tomatoes... she got just a patty with cheese. We were never asked if we wanted coffee or dessert. The food itself tasted good and portions were decent. Unfortunately, the experience wasnt that great.

Great little restaurant to try out. Menu is on the expensive side with single meals rounding $30 and two at higher price. Depending on what is ordered. Food is fresh and delectable. Scenery is comforting and relaxing. Staff provides tablets to order your menu selections with provided images to what your ordering. Desserts are alittle dry with simple and few. I suggest dessert at another location if you want something with flare. But nothing wrong with brownie with chocolate and ice cream. But they do excel in wine and beer selections.

This place is absolutely delicious and the service was amazing! Tyler was the best server I have had in a long time! The management came by to check on us twice! Im so excited to find out there is one in my area! I hope it is as good as the Winter Park location. The food, service and ambience were out of this world! We had the skewers, seafood & mezze platter appetizers & the seafood risotto! All to die for! Right down to the chimichurri sauce & pita chips! Definitely go here! YUM!

This classy Euro-style restaurant is a great place to go out with friends. Their menu includes dishes as diverse as steak, paella, croque monsieur, and two types of hummus. Im not a fan of hummus and usually skip croque monsieur because even the best ham and cheese sandwich is still a ham and cheese sandwich, but the others were very good. We didnt look at thei wines because we were all driving, but the list looked extensive.

Went on a Wednesday, they were having half off bottles of wine. Our server Jessica was super helpful on the menu selections and the iPad we used for ordering was great for seeing pictures of menu items and for a fast response. Dinner seemed to come out on time, however the manager apologized for the wait and offered us free dessert. Id be happy to go back, and look forward to another great experience like this!

Cool concept of being able to order food through the iPads on the table, but you can also get actual service from waiters. The food comes fast, especially when ordered through the iPads. Drinks are quite unique and delicious. Food is good, not great, and light. Makes for an enjoyable and social dinner. I have dined here numerous times, a few for special occasions, and it has always been a great experience.

Love this place. The food is good and I have always had a good service experience. The small plates are perfect for lighter appetites, and I like that the wine comes in 3, 6 and 9oz sizes. Do not pass up the Moroccan Chicken entrée. Tonight was the Beet and Arugula Salad with Fried Goat Cheese topped with Shrimp. Perfect!

I had been dying to go here and I thought it was pretty good in the end. Something different from your typical food chains. The food is different, a good variety. The biggest thing going for it is the staff is super attentive and nice. Great service and they have some nice weekly drink specials. I do plan to go back.

Enjoyed another wonderful evening celebrating two friends birthdays last week. Adam, the manager/owner went above and beyond to accommodate our party of 10. Thanks to Morgan for tolerating us. She was an excellent server. This place continues to impress me as much as the super expensive place across the street
