This review is based solely on the customer service provided by the owner Joel … In early March my family was celebrating my son’s 3rd birthday and to keep it simple we ordered pizza and wings from Joel’s. My husband picked up the food and when he got home, we noticed they forgot all of the wings we ordered (20). I called that evening and the girl on the phone told me she was sorry and I would be credited back the amount on my card. I waited two weeks and didn’t see the credit on my card, so I called Joel’s back and was told I would have to speak with Joel about the issue and that he wasn’t in. A few days later Joel finally got around to calling me and was 1) not apologetic at all about the issue and 2) told me I had to come in and manually swipe my card in order to be issued a refund (this is inconvenient, but I agree to come in ). The day I was supposed to go in, my son got sick at school and I had to pick him up and couldn’t make it to Joel’s. I called to speak with Joel about arranging another time, but he was gone. I have since left no less than four messages for Joel and he has failed to call me back. Two of the messages were left with a young girl in the evening and every time I spoke with her, she had an attitude. The girls I spoke with on other occasions were very nice. I don’t know if his staff isn’t giving him the messages (unlikely) or if Joel just doesn’t care about his customers. Either way, we will never use Joel’s again. I support local businesses, but not when they’re ran the way Joel runs his shop. This matter could have been cleared up with a simple apology and quick refund.

I have eaten food from here 3 times now. The 1st two times I got pizza by the slice to go & it was good. This last time I ordered dinner for my husband & I to be delivered as a special treat on this Friday evening. It was not so great. First off, our order was messed up. They forgot our 2 drinks, the side of ranch for our cheese fries & gave me linguini instead of spaghetti. Also, the menu says the entree I ordered came with garlic knots but instead they sent a piece of garlic bread. The food we did receive (chicken franchese, chicken philly, side salad, garlic bread, cheese/bacon fries) was just okay. I would not order delivery or entrees from here again but I would get the pizza by the slice. Oh, the delivery boy was nice. The girl on the phone taking my order seemed a bit in a rush/confused/annoyed at times.

Thought we would try this place out, but I have to say we were disappointed. Its expensive for what you get. My order was a chicken and pineapple, no cheese (Im lactose ) and it barley came had any toppings on it. Many slices missed the pineapple completely! At 2$ a topping I expected better quality. Crust and sauce was tasty, and the service was friendly. We ordered take out so I cant say much for the Decor. Wish they had smaller sizes, 16" is way to big for 2 people. We are freezing the rest. For 2 pizzas our order came to about 30$ for just dough and thin layer of sauce. Probably will not eat here again.

On my first visit there I asked for my sandwich a certain way with sauce on the side, "no problem!" The cashier said. I paid, waited and when I was a called to the counter I asked about the sauce. "I just ran out" was the answer I got from the same cashier. I would have gladly ordered something else in the beginning if he had just told me that the food couldnt be made to my preference. Food wasnt bad, but Buffalo chicken without blue cheese just isnt right! The service certainly wont have me going out of my way to visit again.

Always a step above everyone else in the Bloomingdale/Brandon/Valrico area. Great food, impeccable service & pleasant atmosphere. Definately a place to bring the family or to bring home any parents much needed "pick up dinner." I definitely deem this establishment Chef approved! (Please keep in mind, any reviews before March 2017 werent a review of Bella Pizza, rather a review of the subpar Joels Pizza that used to be at this location.)

Disappointed. We ordered a Hawaiian pizza, wings, and a chef salad. We decided on delivery and ordered through Takeout Butler. The driver was extremely courteous. The pizza was cold. The wings were not cooked through. The chef salad was unlike any concoction I have ever seen, not a good thing. We wont be ordering from this restaurant again.

Got an 18" Pepperoni pizza for take out. Had company and needed something quick. Best thin crust I have had in ages! Happy a couple pieces are left over for my lunch tomorrow. Staff was pleasant. Menu looks good. Will go back for more. Darn, ate the pizza before I could get a picture.

top 2 places in town, right under fermagios. Ive had some of the best Pizza NY has to offer, both Long Island and upstate, this doesnt really compare, but its pretty good pizza, the garlic knots are pretty good and the wings are good to. Fermagios on the other hand is pretty damn close.

Extremely disappointed, will never eat here again. Had a delivery order of two 18 inch pizzas, one cheese and the other supreme with hardly any toppings. Also ordered 20 wings and was not given sauce to eat it with and the order was extremely expensive with a price of $54.

This was great pizza and a really good value. We ordered the Sicilian style meat pizza and had it delivered. Delivery was fast, the pizza was still good and hot, and it was very yummy. I didnt expect it to be such a huge pizza. We had leftovers for days.

Hands down best pizza in town!! Great atmosphere and all the employees are great. The owners are a young married couple who are all around the nicest people and make you feel welcome as soon as you walk through the door.

Ordered a meatball sub they put 2 meatballs on it and they were cut in half to fit across the whole sub. I called and they said thats how its made.im a regular customer and get pizza there weekly. Very disappointed

Delicious pizza! Best weve had around here. Fresh ingredients used by the new owner. What a difference! We are used to NY and Philly pizza, and this is as close as it gets around here! We definitely recommend it.

I dont really care for pizza, but I eat it there. Love their chicken alfredo and chicken parm. Service is always great. A little bit small but when it always packed, that must mean something!! :) love joels!

The BEST pizza in Brandon. Premium cheeses. Perfect crust. Clean eating area and bathrooms. Not a huge dining room. Joel himself is there most of the time to ensure top quality every pizza.

Best pizza place Ive been to in Florida. Closest youll get to New York pizza. Shrimp parm was awesome too. I drive 25 minutes at least once a week to go here instead of Westshore or Babes.

My husband and I love the food here. I totally recommend the stuffed mushrooms. The lasagna may be the best I ever had. Pizza is awesome. Highly recommend this restaurant!!!
