Ive ate thai all over the world... This is some of the worst. Their coconut soup taste like dish water and I have NEVER seen anyone use canned mushrooms in that soup. They always use fresh mushrooms. Also thais use a ton of red onion in their dishes not yellow onion as they used here. Thai beef salad was edible but nothing special. Thai restaurants that use regular lettuce instead of romaine in their salads are a dead give away that the salad isnt going to be great. Also their tea was old and the service was mediocre and cold. Im still looking to find an authentic thai place around tampa.

Perhaps the best Thai in Tampa and doesnt receive the recognition it deserves. In business for over thirty years, the restaurant owners are friendly and acknowledge their regulars. After sampling the menu over several years my two mainstays are the Pad Thai and Massaman Curry. I personally appreciate that the servers ask how spicy you would like your food. The Thai Tea is a refreshing beverage you cant go wrong with. Great portions and the availability of both a lunch and dinner menu add further choice and value. Cannot recommend this restaurant enough.

I was disappointed with this restaurant. It smelled horrible as I walked in. So bad I would have left if I wasnt meeting friends. The water tasted bad. The wine (white) tasted cheap and bad. The server was bossy and rude, and dictated what we could and couldnt eat and what sauce we could use for what dish. My food was bland (I got a chicken veggie dish with peanut sauce). My friend returned her soup because it was so salty. My husband and I had been wanting to check it out for so long. Im glad only one of us had to experience this.

Still The Best I have not been here, to my first Thai experience restaurant, in quite awhile. It is still the best. And Ive been to a few excellent ones here in Tampa...like the one on Kennedy near Himes. The Phad Thai here at The Thailand restaurant is the BEST. I should have eaten half of it and half later, but I couldnt stop. Soooo good. It wont be so long till Im back here again next time.

The service and the restaurant exceeded my expectations, and our hostess was very nice and helpful. Clean restaurant with good air conditioning. We loved the crab Rangoons! But the pad Thai was soupy, and had no flavor. Very disappointing for one of my favorite dishes. Maybe it was an off night, but for the price (and since they didnt take it off) I wont be back.

This place is great. They are very quick during rush hour, the staff is always friendly, and food is very good. I order the Thai tea, fried rice, and spring rolls, which they all taste great, every time. I would come back here again.

Pad thai lunch was generous and very good. Ordered with medium heat which matched my expectations of medium heat. Sweet and sour soup was very good. Spring rolls were excellent. Chicken satay also very good. Definitely will be back.

I have only ordered take out however the restaurant offers a pleasant atmosphere for eat in. The Thailand menu is extensive and offers a great variety of Asian cuisine which surpasses that of other Asian eateries in the area.
