SCAM!!! This place is an absolute scam. They have the worst customer service. On two different they have commited fraud. The first time one of our associates ordered from them and they waited an hour to call and say that her card didnt go through because they had the wrong expiration date. However they called the WRONG person! They called another associate who had placed an order earlier that same day and released the card information to her even though she had told them it wasnt her who ordered. After the associate rang their neck about giving her card info to another person they didnt even apologize and when they finally came with the food after almost 2 hours the delivery driver admitted to her that it was him who ran her card and released her information, but he still expected to be tipped for the delivery and became irate after he wasnt tipped. How do you expect to be tipped after you jepordized someones identity AND arrived 2 hours late!? The second issue was when our office placed a group order and one of our associated card was charged 3x for the same meal! She confronted the delivery driver and asked why was she charged more than once, she asked for her money back and all he said was well Im not giving you your money back in cash you have to wait until we put it back on your card. She then called the restaurant and spoke with a manager about her concern and was told "youre acting like it was a million dollars" EXCUSE ME!!!! Its HER money! you basically stole from her and have the audacity to act like its not a big deal? Let see if your place gets robbed how youre gonna feel about it. Oh and btw their menu prices are totally different than what they charge you, I myself ordeered a $4.99 appitizer and was charge $8.00, so tax was $3??? DOUBT IT! Plus dont even get me started on food quality.. let just say fries are soaggy, and anything baked or fried will definetly be burnt. First time I ever had garlic knots that were as hard as a jaw breaker. Save your money, Save your Identity, and Save your taste buds!

Wow! I just wrote a scathing review about El Patron Pizza in Tampa for leaving unwanted and unwelcome fliers under the door of unsuspecting tourist here in Tampa. I was going to use a lot of the same issues for this review of New York Pizza Grill, but now Im not sure what to say, only to say it carefully. I knew there was something not quite right about the greasy looking punk that was meandering in the hallway of the 4 star hotel where I am currently residing. As soon as I saw the flier I grabbed my room key and went looking for this person. In hindsight that was not smart, as soon as I got a look at the guy, I ran for the elevator. Now, I am no shrinking violet, but this guy looked like hes slap his own mother. After reading the other reviews on here, I guess I should be happy that this employee didnt turn around and attack! My biggest issue with this business is that they litter the halls and rooms with these fliers. They sneak into hotels, a place where you feel safe and after this, I dont. It doesnt seem to matter where it is a 5 star hotel chain or a family run business. I did call every one of the pizza place that do this, because I felt bad about complaining to the staff at the hotel, but after yesterdays run in with greasy guy for New York Pizza Grill, I had it. I do not feel safe and I told management that, and the did call the police. So, for the employee of New York Pizza Grill, if you get caught stuffing fliers under doors where you are not invited and do not belong, you are more than likely going to be arrested. So when you are out and about making not enough to keep your car running, ask yourself if your boss will bail you out of jail. I doubt it, theyll probably just get another less than intelligent person to litter, trespass, annoy and sometimes terrify, hotel staff and their guests. There are numerous reasons not to eat at New York Pizza Grill, but Im just tossing out a good reason not to work for them.

At 10pm on Jan. 14, 2017 I ordered 12pc garlic knots, large Caesar salad that comes with garlic bread, and a slice of chocolate cake. At 1051pm my driver arrived without the garlic bread, without the dressing for my salad, burned garlic, and a slice of cheesecake. (11:05pm) I called the restaurant and was told another driver will replace my burned garlic knots, will give me another order of garlic knots b/c they dont give garlic bread with their salad (although thats whats printed on their menu left at my hotel room door), exchange the cheesecake for the chocolate cake, and dressing for the salad. At 1136 the new driver had only one order of garlic (that were still burned), he didnt have the garlic knots that comes w/the salad, he didnt have my salad dressing, and brought my chocolate cake. I told him what was still missing. He told me he only made $15 today, came out as a favor for his boss, and doesnt have gas to go back to the restaurant and bring me whats missing. He left with the original burned garlic knots and cheesecake. I called the restaurant again at 11:40 pm I called the restaurant again told them Im still missing the garlic knots and salad dressing that comes w/the salad and the garlic knots sent to replace my original burned knots were also burned. The guy on the phone, didnt give his name when asked, told me to hold on while he calls the driver that just left. I held on the phone for 5 minutes. He never came back on the phone...So I hung up. They never called my cell to advise when theyll be back with my correct, unburned order. Id give this place a ZERO STARS if I could. And to think I tipped the first driver!!!

Wow. Just wow. From the service to the food - Ive never been treated so rudely. First the food, my family and I were staying at the Embassy Suites and ordered some food from this place for delivery. The Salad we ordered was FROZEN - literally frozen and crunchy. The wings were fatty, oily and soggy. The pasta was so rubbery and dry (and obviously microwaved) and the pizza was either frozen and reheated or sitting out all day because the cheese was completely congealed. We were told to come to the lobby to pick up, and when we went down, we could not find the delivery man. He ended up coming upstairs to deliver the food. He was SO rude! He chastised me for not being downstairs multiple times, to the point of being argumentative. After he left and we saw the horrid state of the food I called the restaurant to speak with a manager. Oh my goodness! After trying to tell him my grievances (because I am a business owner too and would want to know if a customer had a bad experience with product/employees) the manager upbraided me worse than the delivery man! And I QUOTE "The guy came to your door, you got the food, what are you complaining about? Do you have anything else to say?" No wonder this place has 1 star! Put it out of its misery!
