Tampa Wing Man’s Review -Recently TBT released an article that featured places in Tampa that supposedly had the best wings. I’ve been going to each place and tasting their wings to see if I agreed with the author. So far, I have not been impressed with the author’s thoughts, so I felt encouraged to write unbiased, true, “average Joe” type reviews of each place I encounter. I decided to post them here, on Google, because I know before I go somewhere I usually read the reviews . Check my name for other places I’ve reviewed! Pizza Hut: Today at work my girlfriend and I decided to try out Pizza Hut’s “50 cent wing Wednesday” deal. I personally ordered 14 wings traditional, all hot, and all drums. She ordered 8 boneless wings, honey bbq. Now I personally don’t think boneless wings count as I feel they are just chicken tenders, but whatever makes her happy. I must say I was very impressed with the wings. Usually chains don’t have the best wings, but Pizza Hut’s wing street delivered! I must note that their hot buffalo is VERY HOT. Usually place’s “hot” isn’t hot to me, but this really is! I don’t say this much! Good: Wednesday is 50 cent wing day. Wings are ready in 15-20 minutes. Hot buffalo sauce is actually hot- and that’s no joke! Bad: None really. I was impressed with their wings being the establishment it is. Really no complaints here! Recommended: Yes!

Normally we love Pizza Hut and most times we get great a product and decent service. Tonight however was terrible. Our pizza did not include extra cheese like we paid for. The pizza was cold and looked like it had been sitting around for hours before being delivered. I called the store and spoke to the manager who offered to remake the pizza and send it back out. To my dismay, the pizza looked even worse than the first one. This time the stuffed crust was overcooked, cheese was sticking to the box and again looked like it had been sitting around for several hours. The delivery driver was no help either. He was rude and of course acted like he didnt want to be there. Normally we have a great experience with Pizza Hut but because this was so bad I just had to post a review. Not sure if well be doing Pizza Hut anymore.

My order was missing an item. I asked the delivery guy he said call the store. I called the store and I told my story to one guy who didnt seem to know what to do. Finally a lady came on and said we can send someone out in 55 minutes or I can give you store credit under the phone number. There was no sorry for your inconvenience or whatever just a poor attitude. I know its Friday and your busy but you can pretend to be horrified at the mess up. A little fake niceness goes a long way. At least the delivery driver attempted to care and thats all I ask for. I know its pizza and working for the public sucks horribly but a little effort goes a long way. I think I will stick with dominos. They are usually super nice.

Way better than what people say, if youre complaining about the service its cause you were acting like a douche, trying to offer a 100$ bill to someone whos considered already more likely to get mugged than the average joe, and cause you dont understand that its a store, it does get busy phone calls can take forever as well as the delivery time do to the fact that they have a limited number of people who can deliver and the delivery person to customer ratio is way off! If you want to keep whining about not being able to get pizza or it taking too long eat a salad you fat whiny pig.

Worst Pizza Hut ever. Pizza was undercooked and cold. Took an hour for delivery when they are only half mile from home. Am a disabled vet when I paid the delivery boy he didnt even offer my change back but decided his on tip. When I said something to him about my change he got real mouthy and disrespectful and started hollering obscenities out his car window as he drove away. Called manager to complain without even getting an apology for his unprofessional attitude and disrespect.Fo not go to this Piz5 Hut. Go an extra 2 miles to the next one

55 minute delivery time on a Monday night. 1hr ltr...no pizza. Got to the store and the phone rang and rang. No one bothered to answer it. 20min later, a lady came to assist. I stated the delivery guy never delivered she said let me contact him. She never returned to the front counter. Another 20 min ltr a guy comes out and reorders my order; free of charge. During this process, one customer walked out and another got a refund. Total time invested all for 2 medium pizzas and brownies for the kids...2hrs. Some customer service...

Never again. I ordered pizza last night from this location (which I do pretty often) and it was a pretty significant amount of money, too. I offered a $100 bill and was told he couldnt accept it. I explained to him that no one told me I couldnt use that form of payment and by-the-way, its not my fault you cant break a $100 bill. Its legal tender that I offered you! He then argued with me, it seemed like he was going to lose his temper with me and then left with both the pizzas I ordered. Pizza Hut is sub par anyway.

This Pizza Hut would be ok if someone would acknowledge your presence when trying to order at the counter. Today I walked in and stood at the counter waiting to order for a full 10 minutes. There were no ther customers at all, they werent busy. One of the employees walked past and definitely saw me, but never said "well be right with you" or anything. I waited a little longer and even said "hello?" Into the back a few times with no response before finally leaving. Thanks so much for wasting my time.

I ordered a "large pizza"(really small for a large),extra bacon,waited around 42 minutes,my husband received it and stated eating with my kids, it turns out is not extra bacon. When I called back their answer was that it would take another 45 minutes to get a new one and that they had to take the one they delivered before. I had a few problems before with my orders being wrong,but this was my last pizza hut,I guess my husband was right, Dominos pizza is working better.

This restaurant is awesome! They get our order correct about 5% of the time. When I call in about it, they tell me I can wait for the same driver to get back from his next delivery to correct it. And they will give me store credits. I got a whole $3.00 store credit on a $50 order after about the 40th time theyve gotten it wrong. I hate ordering Pizza Hut on Hillsborough, but unfortunately Im out-voted in my household, otherwise theyd never get my business again.

I live across the street. Just waited far too long (over an hour on a week night) for far too horrible of food. I called in to check on it, and the clerk who answered the phone saw how late the pizza was and conferred with someone. I was told it was sent out only a few minutes prior, and would be here in a few minutes. When he got to me, finally, he said he got pulled over by a cop, but no ticket. Which was why he was late. I felt was lied to. Food was cold.
