Usually, when I come here there is no issues. Tonight though, was probably the worst experience for customer service. *Note, this is super long* Run down: we get there at 9. When we walk in the door we ask what time the kitchen closes so we can make the decision on to stay or go. They let us know the kitchen closes at 9:50PM. So that was plenty of time since we are doing the endless hibachi. We get to our table, and no joke wait 20 minutes before someone comes over. The hostess says: Im sorry it was brought to my attention no one has served you guys yet. Your server had a large party and hasnt been able to come over to your table yet. Were looking around at the people that came in after us already getting food and drinks. So at 9:20PM we finally get drinks. -seriously. Then the server comes up and takes our orders. We are advised that the kitchen is closing soon so we need to get our orders in. The orders are in and we order extra because were paying for endless and we need to make sure its worth it. Now, we wait for our food for another 20 minutes. Its now 9:40 and half of the stuff didnt even come out. My sons food didnt even come out until after 10pm and had the order completely wrong. We ordered sushi, chicken and the the main plate. Now, mind you with endless you get the appetizers first then your main course. They literally brought the main course then everything afterwards. Let me tell you what, they were sure to charge for everything we didnt eat but backed up their people when they didnt have customer service, our food was horrible and charged us for everything. I try to explain to a lady *not the manager* that its in called for that we have to pay all this extra when the service was horrible and the food was only brought out last minute. So they expected us to scarf it down before we leave or were getting charged. I explained I dont mind paying for what I ate but the other food didnt come out until after the main course. So of course I was full by the time the rest of the food came out. I let her know that the people next to us didnt get charged for their left overs and they had great customer service. We had horrible service and get charged. She basically let us know that its not her problem. Shell check the cameras but she highly doubts that they werent charged. She wouldnt let us speak to a manager, so better believe that Ill be in contact the company. Tonight was just so awful. I refuse to go back that establishment.

Updated on Aug 1. Our first time may have been a fluke and this one may have been as well. The difference is this time it lost its glow. The service at the habachi was not the best. The server Lucy who took our orders messed them up twice and had to ask her to bring something after waiting 20 min. The habachi chef did all his tricks but without the cheer of the other happy chef. The moves without the thrill. After waiting 45 min for those seats it definitely wasnt worth the wait. The food was ok. The miso soup was watery. The tuna sushi was gritty and mushy. We love raw salmon and tuna. We know its impolite in Japan to not eat the rice from a sushi chef, but this is buffet, we were not sittin anywhere near them and we arent in Japan, I know Ive been there and lived overseas in Asia. When my daughter and I asked for more the server sharply corrected us when picking up our plates of leftover rice, "you have to eat the rice. That is sushi." My daughter replied ok but I would like sashimi without the rice then. The server said that is reserved for the dinner menu. So we both said we would like another order of tuna. She again repeated that it was sushi and we needed to eat the rice. So we said ok. Who does that at a buffett to a paying customer? Rice Nazis like the soup Nazis on Senfield. I guess you get what you pay for. It ruined the fun and put a sour twist on the rest of the meal. My younger daughter wanted more cheese sticks and miso soup but we were almost afraid she might scold us again because there were leftover veggies in her plate. Vacation is supposed to be fun and indulgence. Not coming back. This is(updated to was)the best place since living in Overseas! Lunch was amazingly cheap all you can eat from anything off the menu. Just note the line gets long waiting for the doors to open at 1130am on Sat. Also you see a crowd and have to go in though and put your name on the list or you wont get called for a seat. The rolls are not skimpy just because its all you can eat. Its brought to you at the table fresh..no nasty buffet. Even the kids could have anything off the menu with the kids price not just chicken nuggets n fries. Definitely will be coming back when in town again.

Meh. I went here on a recommendation. I wasnt impressed. The sushi was poor quality, tiny and made with tasteless frozen mushy fish. It was very cheap. The appetizers we had were horrible egg rolls with a mushy interior that tasted strongly of ginger and was only vegetable, cabbage and ginger from the taste. They had the after taste of old grease. The next were world smallest crab Rangoon which looked for all the world like a waded up, loaded, tissue. Again, old grease was prevalent. We also has the horrendous QQ meatballs. Tasted like tough, gristly hamburger doused with sweetened ketchup. Yuck! The clear onion soup was delicious. The entree of coconut shrimp consisted of 5 tempura popcorn shrimp that were cooked to hell and back so they had a consistency of deep fried condoms and tasted of, you guessed it. Old grease. The breading was spongy and soaked with it. Very unpleasant. The entree of Wasabi salmon was fantastic! I loved the texture of the crispy crust and it was still juicy. The wasabi was slightly sweet and not overpowering. The veggies that came with it were still somewhat crisp, but not very flavorful. The server was very nice. She messed up a few things, but it was very loud and very busy. She did ask me how old my fiancé was for the senor discount. Hes 47. To his distain, I did laugh. It was very dark in there, maybe she couldnt see. Poor girl was modified. One of the annoyances was the long wait between orders. But the most horrible part of the night was actually the other patrons. Directly across from me, some asshat kept filming the hibachi chef, blinding me with the damn flash on the phone. The manager walked by several times seeing me blocking the glare with my hand and did nothing...ok, too subtle, I get it, but what was NOT subtle were the several old-enough-to-know-better kids that were running around like animals, crawling around on the floor, stomping food into the carpet, climbing on the furniture and disturbing other patrons. Im rather pissed that the manager never said a thing. We wont be returning. Saki on Dale Mabry is better.

The sushi here was very good, not knocking the sushi. I am not a huge fan of hibachi. I like it even less now. That said, the rest of my group wanted to sit at the hibachi table for the kids. Our friend told us before we went whatever sushi or leftover "food" would incur a surcharge, so we knew not to order more than we would be able to eat. I didnt dream that included the noodles & rice left on the kids plates... which the hibachi chef so graciously gave them extra of... and they didnt like. We also had to ask our waitress for drink refills. By end of the meal, we had a crap-load of plates because the waitress never cleared any, so we stacked them. Whatever small amount of noodles and rice that was left on the 3 adult plates also got shoveled onto the 2 kids plates (this also included our straw wrappers, chopstick wrappers, a few napkins, etc. because there was NO SPACE ON THE SKINNY TABLE! The waitress asked if we wanted our "leftovers" boxed up. We pointed out exactly what it consisted of, and the two pieces of beef... and she very politely informed us she would have to surcharge our party $2 per plate. The "Endless Brunch" $16 adult charge isnt bad at all for the food. Hibachi though... steak was rubbery, chicken was dry, shrimp was overcooked and our table mates had some HUGE squid that were a little unappetizing. Nobody told them they would be surcharged for the entire plate of squid she didnt eat though. IF you go... either plan on not bringing kids, eating all their leftovers, spending extra on what you cant eat, or order extra to take home cause you know theyre going to charge you for it anyway. Im pretty sure we wont be going back.
