I have been going to China Wok across the street and enjoyed it every time. Based on the favorable reviews for this restaurant, we gave it a try. We got General Tso Chicken, veggie pad thai, mini veggie eggroll, and crab rangoon. Only the crab rangoon was good, IMO. The Gen. Tso sauce was ok, but the chicken was enormous and tough, served in a bed of chick peas with broccoli which was fine. Defaulted with white rice. I wouldve preferred fried but forgot to ask so my bad. White rice was not cooked well. The mini veggie rolls were bland and forgettable. I still probably wouldve given 4 stars to this point but the veggie pad thai was disgusting. Shame on me, I guess, for relying on Chinese for Thai cuisine, but there is no Thai close. The favor was just bad - it tasted like something was old so after only a couple bites it was thrown out to avoid any possible trouble later. Terrible first impression. Ill be sticking with China Wok.

I ordered chicken lo-mein. It was pretty basic, definitely not my favorite nor was it the worst Ive had. They need to add more vegis, mine had ONE sugar pea pod. They did put bean sprouts galore, if thats all you want then I guess thats great for you. Tasted too salty, too generic and Americanized. Other items ordered were very tiny portions as well. I ordered a qt of egg drop soup, very basic and no vegis or meat. Ive eaten egg drop soup that came free with dine in meals that had vegetables and thinly sliced chicken breast that FAR exceeded this restaurants soup. Prices are about average, not worth a second look.

This is by far my favorite far east restaurant in this area. The food is excellent in every way, the presentation is very nice. The atmosphere is almost like visiting a friend in their home for dinner. The owner/ operator is a very beautiful and gracious lady who takes her quests as serious friends she has known for years and invited to spend a little time with her and her family for dinner. I only take my close family and very best friends there because I know they will enjoy their meal and the beautiful atmosphere. A perfect place be alone with people you enjoy being around.

We highly recommend The Golden Inn to anyone looking for fresh and tasty Chinese food in the Lutz area. Miss Kathy is the gracious and genuinely caring owner who makes sure the customers are happy and thanks everyone for "not cooking" . The staff is so friendly and efficient, sometimes the waiter would see us coming across the parking lot and have our unsweetened ice tea ready at our favorite table as we walked in ! We miss the Bourbon Chicken so much now that we are back in the Northeast for summer. That sweet smoky flavor is to die for !

First off, I shouldve known better than to order Pad Thai here. Its not a Thai restaurant. Its an Asian fusion type of place from what I read in the reviews. However, after I asked the hostess how the Pad Thai was and she said it was great, I figured Id give it a shot. Huge mistake. It didnt taste like pad Thai at all. The only similarities were that it had the correct noodles and a bunch of ground peanuts on top. So awful. Guess I learned my lesson, eh? I gave them 2 stars instead of 1 star because the hostesses were super nice.

I normally wont do this, or post anything negative, but! I had to say something. Ive eaten in many Chinese restaurant but this was the worst. Chicken and broccoli consist of a boiled chicken with broccoli, there fried chicken wings look like something from the frozen food section. Im sorry but dont see what the previous reviews were based off. My 14 year old cooks a better steamed rice. Wouldnt recommend it, at all! Even the fortune cookie was soggy. The only thing worth purchasing from the 3 orders that I bought was the coke.

We didnt try anything crazy on the menu. Wish we had its basically a Thai Chinese fusion restraunt my family chose basic Chinese dishes and my son tried a bacon wrapped shrimp dish which was outstanding! I think their other dishes will be much better but the hot and sour soup was syrupy in texture and not hot or sour. The over all dishes seem typical of other local Chinese restraunts but if you try one of their other Thai fusion dishes you may have a keeper.

Walked out tonight, because nobody came to serve us. We were there for at least 15 minutes and other than someone bringing us menus and place mats, no one approached us again until we flagged one of the servers down and she told us she will check to see who our server was.She did not return and after 5 more minutes we walked out. We have been there numerous times in the past year and have always had good food and good service, so tonight was a big surprise.

This place seems to really have it! I usually order General tso chicken at every Chinese restaurant i go to. Always end up disappointed because of minuscule pieces of chicken surrounded in large amounts of Fry batter. This place however surprised me with very big peaces of chicken! To top it all off i inpressed with the great flavor and spice. Ill be coming back soon

I absolutely love this place. I been going here ever since I worked at the GNC next door about 3 years ago. I still occasionally walk in and do pick up orders with my wife. Never once have we had a bad experience. I love the general Tso and curry chicken there! The Asian woman that works there is so sweet as well and will always thank you for "not cooking" haha! ;)

Its no wonder this resturant has been around for 20 years!!! UH-MAZING MENU. My husband loves the sizzling steak. My children love the Princess Rice & shrimp rolls. Many of times it is hard to avoid pork when ordering the rolls, but NOT at Golden Inn you will find new favorites everytime you order. The staff have always gone out of there way to serve & please.

I have finally found a great go-to Chinese restaurant in the Lutz area. We went here a few times after hearing about it from a friend. Most of their menu items are ones youre used to seeing, but they do them very well. If you order a dish hot (spicy) they will make it hot! The staff is really great. Even when we call to place an order, theyre really nice.

I liked the cashier she was very nice, I was first in, last to be waited on, Im assuming because I was the only one of color, food was ok, not good enough for a return visit. Im new here and looking for good chinese food, I tip on the treatment /service I receive, usually 15 to 25%, but today my tip is treat all your customers equal Josh. Thanks

One of the few places around that has chow fun and four different types of duck. The portions are large and everything is fast, hot, and delicious. There are two Asian buffets in the area, but this place is far more relaxed, the food is way better, and you wont leave hungry. The staff is very friendly and makes sure youre enjoying the food.

Blows everyone away when they come here. "Dude, this place is good." Im about to go there now, just waiting for it to open. Get the curry chicken. Coconut shrimp kicks ass. They serve beer but its too expensive. I just come in blasted and hit the buffet. Everythings good. Theyre open now, so I have to go. Have fun Googling Chinese places.
