After so many wonderful reviews we were looking forward to trying this place. Our party of 6 were all extremely disappointed. Even my 5 year old said it wasnt good, and didnt eat. If it wasnt for the chocolate pudding on the salad bar, he would have left hungry. I wouldnt describe the pizza as nasty, but maybe equivalent to what you can get from 7-11 or the frozen section of the grocery store. I was generous with the 2nd star I gave because the girl bussing the table was friendly. We definitely will never be back. If you want sub-par food to just grab in a hurry maybe this will work for you. If you actually want good pizza, try elsewhere.

My family and I have been going here regularly for years, and we have never had anything but a great experience. The owner is not only providing great food at a very affordable price, but is also a true pillar of our community. She is always deeply involved in many supportive community activities for our schools, churches, and others. Awesome little pizza place, as it has a greater impact than just getting full of yummy food.

I live in Alabama and every time I come home to NC I make it a point to stop in and eat here! The best pizza. The best staff. The owner has a heart of GOLD and gives back to the community anyway she can.. They never have a problem keeping up with our large crew even when we bring parties of 12+ without warning!

The pizza was good, and I really enjoyed the spaghetti! At first we were skeptical because we walked in and there were only 3 pizzas out but after about 5 minutes the bar was full of hot pizzas. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was very clean and well kept. Its better than DiGiorno!

We stopped in for the buffet after taking our kids to the Apple Festival. The buffet was reasonably priced, and the food was delicious-- even my pickiest eater cleaned her plate. Bathrooms are clean as well. The staff was friendly and kind. We highly recommend this restaurant.

Flat Rock Pizza has always been very accommodating whenever I have a lunch outing for my skilled nursing facility. The pizza is great and the staff is very friendly and helpful in getting our residents seated and taken care of. I recommend highly.
