im so upset with the inconsistencies in pacers food when picked up from the carryout and its not only the food but their pick up time thats not on point...most the time its a 45 min pick up time given (which is fine) but you almost always wait an extra 10 to 20 min after arriving at that 45 min time which let me tell you waiting in that small room thats prob atleast 100° and almost always has other customers waiting too, its def not fun...pacers has definitely lowered their quality a lot over the years and ive just had it with paying 40 dollars for a family of 4 and then the food, id say the last 5 times over the year we have gotten pacers has had something wrong with it whether its burnt or not cooked which happened with our Philly steak one time or the food is just plane out cooked crappy...its ridiculous, whats the point of paying that much $ for crappy food and crappy service when i can take that $ elsewhere and have good food and good service which would = happy customer/returing customer....let me say this tho, if you dine in everything is amazing, including the experience that you would expect from a small local restaurant, from my experience and other relatives/friends that go to the back door for to go orders its such a huge difference in service and quality of food...some of the woman back there are grumpy and mean and not very welcoming at all, not very good customer service in my opinion...so to the reason i wrote this, b/c this is not like me at all to write a complaint, is because about 2 to 3 weeks ago we eat pacers for the first time in a long time i might add, anyway we order our food, they were busy and said 1hr. wait time, well no problem we understand that, well we go in 5 min after so it was an hour since we placed the call, so we get in there and there are a couple other people waiting which still, no biggie...well theyre telling us just a couple more min and our food will be done...wellllllll after 35 more min of waiting THERE on top of the hour waiting at home our food was finally done and ready to take home...they apologized and punched out 10 spots on one of there 10$ off cards which gave us 10$ off the next time...that made us feel a little better for the whole waiting fiasco...fast forward a few weeks to today we decided to get pacers ONLY b/c its close and we had the 10$ off coupon. Well we go in to pay and they tell us our coupon THEY gave us a few weeks back THEY will not accept b/c someone stole their hole puncher and they are not accepting any....i was so upset and thats what brought me here to vent about it because 6 mo ago i had raw meat in my sub and called to talk to a manager and i got hung up on by a worker there and she wouldnt get a manager...i was being polite but she didnt find my issue valid enough i guess, so i posted a call back message and never heard nothing from them....i should of learned my lesson then but i mean it now when i say i am DONE wasting my money on pacers...its sad honestly b/c its a local business and they used to have really good food, i dont know what happened, maybe new management ??? careless workers ??? i have no clue....i just wanted to put this out there but just a tid bit of advice if you decide to go there to eat, i would go in and not waste your time, money, or energy on the back takeout door...i have way more let you down type stories from pacers and ive already been here long enough otherwise i could write a book on their poor service from my experiences with them!! i really hope pacers turns it around and puts their customers first! im not the only one that has these issues a lot of other people have the same things happening to them from here, its super sad and id love to see pacers turn it around but until then im not "WASTING" ANY MORE MONEY on pacers food!! TO: pacers management.. i hope you guys can get things back to how they used to be because i used to enjoy getting food from there years ago and now i cringe when i hear the name "Pacers" and thats upsetting...thanks for reading my review :)

2-3-2017 We decided to try this place tonight due to my grandfather being in assisted living close to Pacers. We had high expectations since we had checked the reviews before ordering. How this place has over a 4 star just blows my mind! The ribs were not fall off the bone tender like they say. They put my sons side dish in with my grandfathers entree- who knows why? We ordered 2 subs- they were large but they were not cut at all. Try eating an 18 inch sub not cut! There was alfredo sauce on the greenbeans which is odd and gross so they got thrown away. There was 6 people in a small kitchen and it looked like a crazy house. The food was not at all what the reviews here are showing. I think at one time this was probably an okay place to eat, but tonight it was not that place. We threw down a $50.00 bill eating here tonight and it will be the last money we ever spend there again! Gross! The people who reviewed this place must be locals who live there. Its the only place to eat in that small little town, so no wonder they gave it good reviews. The staff was friendly and the girl who took my order on the phone was as sweet as could be.. So if I was rating the people who worked there, well they would have got a 5.

FOOD POISONING Complained to a friend who laughed and said hed have warned me if hed known I was planning to go there; that he knew several people who got food poisoning from there. Apparently theyre somewhat known for this. Aside from vomiting, diahrea, and stomach cramps from bad prime rib or the sweet tea, (I cant be sure) the service is friendly and attentive. The decor is corny but charming. The food is mediocre. A rule of thumb is: the bigger the menu, the poorer the quality of the food. Its easier to do a few things excellently; doing more things means its harder to maintain quality. This place had a 4-page, front and back menu. The appetizers were underwhelming and my fiancés "Italian sampler" pasta dishes were cold in the middle. If I hadnt gotten food poisoning , Id have given them three stars.

Wonderful place. Went there with a group of friends. Was my first time there. The servers were kind and descriptive and detailed when you asked questions. They were very helpful when you were trying to make your decision of "what should I get?" Its not a new building, its older, but its still a nice place. The food was as good as your gonna get anywhere else so its really nice. The tables however werent 100% clean though as there was still a minor stick on the table. Perhaps it was the finish or remaining cleaning chemicals?? Pros: good food, nice place, good servers Cons: not 100% clean but satisfactory, not the fanciest building
