We have been here twice, and as my mother-in-law would say... "it was nothing to write home about". The only reason they get any stars would be for : +the nice waitress the 2nd time for the morning/brunch time (lady in her 50s/60s, seemed like shed been there awhile, she hugged and kissed other regular customers, and took care of you), + for their fluffy pancakes with real blueberries inside (although they get confused if you want to do blueberries + strawberries on top, and didnt want to fulfill my request, and looked at me like I was from MARS when I wanted mixed berries.. this was no Wildberry from Chicagoland... man I miss that place...) +budget prices for ok food. -When we went within 45min of closing time late one night because we just moved to the area, were starving and wanted breakfast food, they told us that we couldnt have anything from the grill as they shut it down... Garden GRILLE Cafe... maybe we can still have some hot food from the grill...? -Wouldnt make me crepes -Were out of strawberries -Blueberry pancakes were covered in a goopy junk blueberry mush on top, not fresh, just some weird glaze, fake tasting slop -When they go to the back kitchen area to give your order they shout about you, you can hear them completely, and it makes it awkward for everyone. Basic... pancakes were fluffier than Nikkis, which is the ONLY reason we gave them a 2nd shot... sub-par diner... didnt feel-the-love really from this place to keep us coming back... Definitely still in search of our favorite Breakfast Spot.

The owner yells at everyone, her son sexually harasses the waitresses, the senior waitresses dont share tables with the newer ones...the regulars have a section of their own and get taken care of above everyone else, the cook cant understand what the tickets say so hes always yelling in a different language at the waitresses, the tables dont seem to be wipped off, the bathrooms smell like sewage, the food is just the same as any short lived diner place, the price seems a little to high for the amount of food your meal is served with, the service is good one on one....the experienced waitresses know what they are doing and the newer waitresses are trying their best to give the customers the best customer service despite being belittled by the experienced waitresses, the cook, the owner, and her son! I have dined there once before i worked there and than dined there once after i no longer worked there. Nothing changed. And shes has another newly opened restaurant on US 19...another barely making profit business of hers im sure!

I have been coming to garden grille for years and hadnt gone in awhile when i went in the place was so run down you used to be able to eat off the the floor seats r ripped the bathroom was dirty. I told my daughter lets go there food is good and reasonably priced. I spent $35.00 and walked out still hungry for 2 people nonono. We ordered ceaser salad which was decent size we shared it we ordered 10 wings which we split and daughter doesnt like spicy ao we 2 different sauces and they put them on the same plate and were so small amd overcooked with no celery or blue chz until we asked the celery was dirty and turning brown we ordered fried calamari literally had 6 pieces on the plate. I was not unhappy with our waitress she was nice but honedtly i will not go back again what happened to the old gsrden grille. Very disappointed and i font get to go out to eat much so mad that i wasted it on that meal.

I have gone to eat here 5 times and every time I went I ordered something different in hopes I would get a good meal. My chicken Cesar salad tasted like old stale seafood, my steak dinner was thin, tough and bland, the chicken wings were under cooked, and I always had to wash my own forks and knives. The food is never fresh and this I know for a fact, I had family working there and when they told me what was going out i never went back. They will take uneaten food from one customers plate and server it as new to another customer. Any drink that was left in a glass would be used for someone else. On top of everything else if you complained the owner would yell at you and the waitresses would steal tips from each other. I would never recommend this place to anyone ever. Horrible food, and nasty service.

After reading the other two great reviews, we decided to have breakfast there after church. The eggs were fine. The pancakes were very thick and not good because pancakes are supposed to be flat, the potato pancakes had far too much onion and were soggy. The sausage patties were gray and had no texture. The coffee had an odd flavor, I couldnt drink it. After we finished eating, a waitress brought around a tray of fresh fruit cups, which looked lovely, but by that time we were really ready to leave because of the food. Maybe they do better with their other meals, but breakfast was not good.

I am all about supporting local businesses but I probably will not be returning. Customer service was great and food was hot but the actual taste is poor to average at best. They charge $2 for turkey bacon that is so hard it might was well be jerky! I couldnt even eat it, it was so tough. We ordered 2 breakfast items and an appetizer with 2 cokes and it was over $33. For eggs, toast, and hash browns, that is a little much! We are new to the area and wanted to try it but now that it is checked off of our list...no need to really try it again.

Food: ☆☆☆ Service: ☆ We came here for breakfast because my girlfriends parents had been coming for years and highly recommend it. This was the last time we will go. The service was, for lack of a better word, bad. It was the day after Christmas and there was only one waitress working, but it wasnt that busy. We had to flag down our waitress to receive any service. The food was on par for being a little hole in the wall type place, but I would wager there are better places within a few minute drive.

If I could give this place no stars I would. Order muffin came frozen on inside and 10 mins to get to table. Flys were flying around. Table was dirty where we sat. Order came wrong and waiter even knew and just said sorry. Some guy that look like he was on steroids stating behind counter maybe a manager looked so unhappy. Me and husband were the only couple in there and staff acted as of we were invisible. Drinks were never refilled. Place is horrible. I would never go back. Thanks but no thanks

Bad experience, customer service is the worst, we had to ask for napkins and utensils. The server brought us an extra coffee that we did not ask for it and forgot to bring us the toast that came with our food. On top of that she said we were expected to remaind her for the toast, and she did not apologize for it saying that anyways she did not charge us extra for it, that it was included. We will never come back to that place. We should have trust the previous bad reviews.

I usually love coming here but today das not a good experience. We waited 30 min for our food and when I asked why it was taking so long I was told there wasnt enough grill space. But people that came in after us were being served and when I ask how was that possible the excuse I was giving was oh she is only having eggs and potatoes. I was never told sorry for the wait I was just given excuses. I canceled my order and went else where.
