My wife and I went here today, St. Patricks day. We both took off work and drove 45 miles to experience this place. Arrived at 1pm, paid our $10 each cover charge, and proceeded in to the pub. Pub was very full, as expected. Continued on to patio area. Found a place near outdoor bar. Ordered a beer each, and stood enjoying ourselves. Eventually a couple of chairs became available. We continued sitting at the bar. After a while, we were ready for another beer. Unfortunately, crowd was growing, and only 1 bartender, still, at the outdoor bar. Food was looking great that people were getting, and we were going to order food. Never could get the bartender to get us another beer. Not her fault. She was very nice, especially in light of the situation. But she was too busy to be taking care of everyone. Soon, it was announced the kitchen was closed, 2:00pm.....???? We waited another 20 minutes to cash out, and left at 2:30. So, to sum up, $37.00 for two beers. I will just say management failed here today. Irish pub, St. Patricks day, $10 cover (wouldnt have minded this had they used this money to pay more staff), 1 bartender at the outside bar, no food by 2:00pm. Very dissapointing. May come back on a normal night, but wont be in a hurry.

I bookmark a lot of places from stories and blogs I come across. I had bookmarked Four Green Fields. Im not sure where from, but Im glad I did. My daughter lives nearby and we were looking for a late lunch spot to walk to. We have driven past this pub countless times and I never noticed it. Charming Irish pub complete with a thatched roof. Our group ate lunch on the front patio so our pup could tag along. Being a Lady Crafter I was happy to see they have their own craft beer on tap that is brewed over in Largo. I got their wit beer and it was perfect for the patio. Hubs & I split a side salad (was ok) and a Salmon Sandwich (delicious). Friendly service too. I hope to come back for the live Irish music on the weekends.

I do like this place! From the Irish bartender to the great selection of whiskeys to the awesome food. Always a win. When the British boys and I went on a rainy afternoon I ordered a jameson. .which apparently meant I needed a lesson in some really good irish whiskey. This ended up in the elder British gent paying out $30 a shot in order to school me. I had no complaints and can now speak irish whiskey almost as well as I can speak tequila. And this my friends is not a bad thing

the best irish pub that ive found in the u.s.. been to about 160 irish pubs in the u.s. and ireland, other than ones in ireland, its the best. my wife and i are friends with the bartenders, do things together away from the pub, and we get very well taken care of down there. that is not why i say its the best, it is! its an irish pub that has the balls to play nothing but irish music all the time and if you dont like that, go somewhere else. One of the best Guinness pours you can get. You might not think it makes a difference in how its poured but just trust me it does. Sometimes they put the shamrock in the head. Great chill atmosphere. The food is awesome as well. Ive had pretty much everything on the menu and its all good. I recommend the shepardss pie and the corned beef ruben. I went to UT and this is just a short walk down the road, but would have gladly driven across Tampa for it.

The beer is good but the food sucks!! They use instant potatoes for their sheppards pie which was disgusting and the mashed potates are gross too!!! The corned beef cabbage... well the cabbage was raw and taste like fish and the corn beef was dry and tasteless!! Get a clue and make your mashed potatoes from real potatoes or SHUT IT DOWN!!! Oh yeah and the bald guy is a perv!! I wont recommend them to anyone! Thanks for wasting my money Bernadette

This is a great place to meet friends and relax during the evenings. There is a large bar inside and another smaller bar outside. There is ample seating and space inside, and the deck outside provides another area to congregate. When the weather is nice, being outside can be preferable. They usually have live music and the bands are certainly entertaining. They proudly serve Guinness, and have a reasonably well stocked bar.

Went on a Sunday with friends, and there was a bunch of musicians playing. The food was great, I had the shepherds pie and it was yummy. To drink I had a Jai alai and that was so good. I loved the thatched roof. There appeared to be only one waitress for the whole time we were there, so our orders took a little longer than usual. But hey, this was a terrific pub and a good find.

This stand alone building has an authentic thatched roof. It helps set the tone that you are walking into a real Irish Pub. Inside, it is the same tone, with the decor being much like a pub you would do s in Ireland. The food is great, and it is one of the few places in town that knows how to pour a Guinness draft properly. Highly recommend.

“To Neighbor and Friends” All my trips to FGF have been to meet Neighbor and Friends, or to find/meet new ones. So, if you go in alone and come out alone, then you missed out...get out of your shell or shed your egotistical attitude, DON’T waste da BEER! Once you are in the door under the thatched roof we are all Irish, especially after...

A nice little Irish Pub in Tampa. It is within walking distance of the Convention Center, so if you have an event there then Four Green Fields is a great place to grab a beer and some food for dinner. Well made Irish food. St. Patricks Day this place is packed. The staff is great.

Amazing authentic Irish foods. Corned beef, Guiness stew, ruben, and leek soup are notable. Guiness is always on tap. The Jameson flows like wine. Live bands are very frequently on stage. Atmosphere reminds me of a nyc irish bar. Complete with thatched roof ceiling.

Best Irish Pub in Tampa without a doubt. Take it straight from a real Irishman.... the Guinness is the best in the State... I drive 20 miles from Clearwater just for a pint sometimes. Nice parking too for a smaller venue & great live music.

An open European style pub with a bit of character nestled in the heart of downtown Tampa. Dont expect flashy scenes or decor but if you want and authentic British style pub youve come to the right place.

First real Irish pub Ive been to for a long time. They pour the Guinness properly, they had live music and the staff was witty like we Irish so often are. A place Id want to be on St. Pattys day
