The food is just okay. Ive had better eggs, better sausage, better omelettes, better sweet tea, and certainly better pancakes. The Brunchery disappointed in all these aspects by being not necessarily bad but also not especially memorable. And in reality, thats probably the worst thing to be: in that middling, non-impressional, neutral ground. I had the Italian omelette and classic pancakes, and while its a good amount of food, it left zero lasting impression on me, except the thought, "Man, that left zero lasting impression on me." To reiterate my first sentiments, it was just merely average. I didnt love it but didnt hate it. And as such, I probably wont think to remember to come back here when Im in the area again. Id recommend trying it out, in case other menu items are more palatable. The prices are fair, the atmosphere is pretty easygoing, and the location is amenable (I love south Tampa). But buyer beware, you may not remember The Bruncherys existence after having a subpar-but-not-terrible meal.

A year ago...we luved it! Been back 2 times in past 6 weeks~theyve had a VERY distinct negative change in their service & quality of their food. 1st time...service was sooooo poor~waitress attempting to pick up full tab personally-which we would NOT accept; mgr/owner gave us a return voucher for 1 free meal. 2nd visit...not busy in middle of the week (only 3 tables w/ppl seated at them) but I was served warm seafood salad & fresh fruit salad that should have been tossed the day before. My husband ordered wheat toast, got rye toast...ordered cheese ON his grits-there was 1/4 grits & 3/4 cheese in the bowl. Sooo stringy~didnt bother to eat after 1st attempt. I appreciate honest, constructive critiques on Google...helps us find wonderful, independent restaurants as we travel the US. Hope this helps someone else when theyre choosing their dining experience in Tampa.

I know the service here is friendly but we went when it was slow and I mean very slow yet it seemed to take forever to get our food and drinks. Our waiter was polite and the milkshakes are awesome but the food was very basic. I mean I could of gone to Ihop and at least had a side of hashbrowns or something included for the same price. I dont know if it was just the fact that I got pancakes because its really hard to mess up a pancake anyway. My husband thought the poached eggs were okay but wasnt overly impressed. I wouldnt enthusiastically recommend but theyre certainly nice people and it you want to support a local business then this is as good as any place to get breakfast.

In a word? Yuck! Im a little surprised at the lack of quality of the food prep here. I had always heard that it was pretty good and maybe this was an off-day, but it was really bad. The eggs were undercooked and when I sent them back, they then came back brown (way overcooked). I know sunny-side up eggs can be a little tricky, but this is a brunch place! The accompanying potatoes were cold and hard. My tablemates grits were watery, and her breakfast sandwich had a small thin slice of sausage that only covered the very middle of the sandwich. Service was good and prices fair if the food were better. Probably wont go back.

Reading the reviews I thought, awesome! But it was not very awesome. It was extremely loud, they shoved us on a bench/chair table between two couples (we were basically touching elbows) Okay so let me start off by saying, thank goodness I purchased a groupon. I ordered the steak and eggs with home fries. The food wasnt that great but what really sent me over the edge was the waitress was no where to be found. We sat with empty drinks for nearly 10 minutes. Oh and they need to change the menu to read no refills on Orange juice since it definitely advertise that it does.

I use to frequent The Brunchery, but sadly I will no longer make the drive there. Today I ordered the cuban burger with homefries. The homefries were microwaved and the burger was served well done when I ordered it medium. To top it off the service is horrible. With maybe 5 other tables, I waited a good 10 minutes for my beverage order. I asked about the specials and it was almost chaotic watching the waitresses trying to find the sheets that in the past had been placed in the menu, which were never found..... :(

If you could rate this higher than 5star I certainly would! Absolutely amazing in all aspects. We tried this place Sunday and were so impressed we came back again on Monday!:) The prices are very reasonable. The decor is very much "Grandmas House" which is a perfect fit. The owners are completely involved in their business and it reflects 110% in the best way. The portion size is also amazing especially considering the prices. I highly recommend the bendicts!. This little diner is a fabulous hole in the wall♡

Breakfasts are great and they are great big, yet reasonably priced. Many creative combinations on the menu. Small, clean restaurant with very homey decor. More stuff on the walls than you will ever have time to view. Service is friendly and usually very quick. They can be very busy on weekends, so you may have to wait for a table. The Brunchery is like a small town cafe from a few decades ago. Tables are close together and it can be quite noisy. Not a place for intimate dining, but a great place to eat.

The Brunchery is a small family owned restaurant. It is not fancy or trendy inside, but their food is delicious! They have a great selection of eggs benedics and a healthy serving of food that will leave you full, for a reasonable price. The employees are nice, and give you a small town feel. It seems as though many have been working there for a long time. I always see the owner there when we go. There are a lot of chains around, The Brunchery is a little home feel gem in the area, try it out!

The Brunchery was our Sunday morning spot for many years and we enjoyed taking friends and family from out of town for brunch. Its a small, intimate setting with tables very close together but the atmosphere is always lively and the wall art and kitschy decorations are sure to spur interesting conversation! Excellent food, servers are always attentive and the owners are personable and friendly. You cant go wrong at the Brunchery...and do yourself a favor, order the French Toast!

Ill start off by saying atmosphere was really good. A very nice setup and service is fast. But my issue isnt with any of the service from the staff. It is with whoever created the menu. I am allergic to tree nuts and I had a breakfast parfait. The menu said it included yogert, granola, strawberrys and bananas. Yet it came with sliced almonds in the granola. So I had to leave and load up on Benadryl. I recommend putting something on the menu to correct this for future customers.
