We have been searching for a brunch place in Wesley Chapel, and saw First Watch was recommended. The first two times we tried to go, the line stretched out the door and we didnt even attempt to go in. This time, we decided we were going to see whether the wait was justified. We were told it would be a 35-40 minute wait (Monday at 10:35 AM). We waited for 45 minutes, and while there learned that there was an app where you can put yourself on the waiting list -- definitely recommend for next time. When we were seated, it took 10 minutes for a server to greet us (I timed it). From walking into the restaurant to leaving, we were there for almost two hours. The service was okay. Servers always say "no rush" when they leave a check at your table, but it seems hollow when you leave a check when one of the people at the table still has half a meal left. I felt completely rushed. But we ultimately came for the food, so we wanted to give the meal a fair shot. I ordered a $3.79 horchata, which was worth about $1.50. My SO ordered a sweet tea which was watered down. The best part of the meal was, by far, the toast. It was quite good. I found the potatoes to be underseasoned and my dish (farmhouse skillet) was generally lacking in flavor. My over-medium eggs were basically hard-boiled. My SO ordered an omelette which was good, but not great. The food is reasonably priced for the portion size, but the drinks are ridiculous. All in all, we were underwhelmed, and I think the lack of good brunch options around Wesley Chapel has a lot to do with how busy this place is. As nice as it is to have someone else cook brunch for you, I think well stick to making it ourselves until somewhere else good pops up. To be fair, had we used the waiting app, we may have had a more pleasant experience. However, the 10-minute wait between being seated and greeted by our server was unacceptable, even for two people who dont really care that much about the quality of service.

Used to go here once a week for over 2 years. Back then I would have rated it "Best Ever" but now.... the food is skimpy, and I usually think portions are huge. Omelets often have a few pieces of meat or veggies sprinkled in whats really eggs with toppings. The restaurant just isnt as nice as it used to be, worse service, worse food, worse environment. They also changed their signature potatos, which while unhealthy, were delicious.

I rarely ever leave reviews, but this one deserves it. My husband had the Elevated Egg Sandwhich and I had the Bacado Omelette and we shared a carrot cake pancake. The presentation of the food was amazing and the flavor was 10/10. We both felt that we were eating food made by top chefs from the Food Network. We are locals and will definitely be visiting again. Staff was sweet and environment was friendly. :)

Great food just like any other First Watch. But just like most other ones, the wait times are often horrible because its so popular on weekends but has such limited seating. Luckily they seem to have modernized slightly and you can monitor your wait on an app. Parking is really poor here as well, but with a huge Publix nearby, you will find parking... You may just have to walk a bit more.

Never had bad meal here. Wait staff is very friendly. Interesting variety on the menu for breakfast and lunch. Healthy options as well as egg Benedicts, pancakes salads, sandwiches. Not too impressed with the soups. Healthy juices, different specials each month. The AM superfood breakfast is wonderful! Chia pudding is my new favorite. Superfood salad and Veggie sandwich also delicious!

The food is always good - but we did the call ahead seating and we still waited an hour when we got there. There were only two of us so it shouldnt have taken so long. Then the waitress told us twice that shed be right with us. Felt like they were pushing us out the door as soon as one of us was finished.

This is the worst administration, they told me that I was gonna wait for 45 minutes then 1 hour, then when I asked them about the table, they told me 1 hour-90 minutes. I think the manager should put more attention to their employees.

We used an app to save our spot in line before getting here. The food was bang on with flavour Chickenganga is very tasty. Could have had more potatoes on the side. I dont feel heavy after eating Im coming back. (Were from Canada)

Been here twice and with two different experiences. First time was pleasant but an extremely long wait, both at the table for the server and at the door, made the second visit forgettable. Food is on the plus side of mediocre.

Food OK but not for the money you spend. They just raised prices a few months ago on the average of 12%. Some of the entree portions are small. One piece of toast per order. You are better off trying other establishments.

First Watch WESLEY CHAPEL has the most amazing customer service of any restaurant in Tampa Bay! The food is also the best! Its the only place we have found that has fresh, locally grown fruits and salad greens.

Regular customer. Excellent, friendly service. Nate is the greatest and goes out of his way. Always happy to come back on the weekends. Make sure to use the mobile app to save time waiting in line.

Took me and my wife 1 hour to be seated while other couples were coming in, waiting five minuets, and were being seated. Food was ok. Wont be coming back to this First Watch location.

Would like to see Stevia All Natural, Zero Calorie Sweetener on the tables for Coffee and Tea. Also, there are no Gluten- Free Bread substitutions for those who cannot eat Gluten.

Great food, and healthy choices. We use the nowait app and it is great and in that way our waiting period has reduced tremendously !! Highly recommended for breakfast and lunch!!

Just awful. Get a burger next door, its probably healthier. Id only recommend this is youre looking for seriously over priced "health" food that will probably make you sick.

Great place if you can beat the rush. Friendly staff and good food and coffee. A seasonal menu keeps things interesting. Extra parking can be found behind building.

Best breakfast inTampa. Eggs are perfectly cooked and the pork links are excellent. Not the usual thin tasteless links. Their bacon are also crisp and very tasty.

Long wait for a table, portions are small and location is small compared to demand. If you do decide to go here make sure to call and request order for pickup.
