If you havent been here for awhile, try it now. It is the best value meal around, especially for seniors. It is not about all you can eart. It is about a great salad bar, wide selection of side dishes and decent steak, roast beef or chicken. We usually fill up on salads and sides. I enjoy the steak and find it tasty and just the right size for my small appetite. We usually dont make it to the dessert bar, which has a huge selection, but I find too sweet, although I always get a cotton candy, which was a pleasant surprise when they added it. Friendly and efficient wait staff (be sure to tip them). There is a senior discount, which is welcome. Just wish they served breakfast during the week.

My family and I were on our way home last night from a long, fun trip to Dollywood and looking for a place to eat. I have 3 boys ages 17, 13 and12 and they can put away some food so we were looking for a buffet style place to eat. We saw the Golden Corral and pulled off to eat. The food was great and the service was awesome. We had a wonderful time and if we are ever that way again we will definitely be stopping in again.

Staff was exceptional!! Eric and Melinda went out if their way to take great care of us. The guy on the grill was great as well Terris was his name... he even brought my steak to me when it was cooked to my liking while I was looking over the buffet. And then checked with me when I was done to see how it was..Excellent service with a superb staff! Good was all good as well of course!!

The food was not hot nor presented well. There were many empty containers on the bar. The wait staff was very nice and accommodating. The cook behind the steak Grill was really rude & obnoxious. Our meal for 2 adults with 1 drink and 1 water was $32. We usually enjoy our meal at Golden Corral restaurants, not this time!!! Very disappointed !!!

I remember Golden corral from my childhood. I had assumed that like so many other icons of quality from back then (Howard Johnsons?) that todays visit would probably be a dismal downer. Was I ever wrong! I found a bustling, bright, cheerful place with a fantastic buffet. These folks from top to bottom take pride in their store and it shows!

Used to be Golden Corral represented a great food experience, at a great price. Somehow over the years something has changed. Now its just an offer priced all you can eat buffet, that is frankly unappetizing. Might be me, but the food had that mass produced, lower quality taste and feel.

Mediocre at best. All food is over seasoned to cover the taste of low quality. As with any buffet the food is hit and miss depending on whom is cooking it that day. I have went one and received wonderful steak, however a week later it was improperly cooked twice in a row.

Food was good, not great. Lots of choices. Pretty expensive, especially for a larger family. Wait staff was friendly, but for an all you can eat buffet, Id prefer to get my own drink and not feel obligated to leave a tip just for that service.

You know what you are getting into when going to golden corral. The food was good, but the selection was lacking. The steak was salty and overcooked. Super busy, but the service stayed consistent and courteous.
