I used to go here all the time, I love the variety of sushi but...... I will no longer eat any of the food except from the hibachi grill cooked in front of me, or the fresh sushi. I have seen that manager guy drop stuff on the floor and put it back on two different visits. The first time he dropped a crab leg on the floor and the second time a chicken wing, and put it right back in the buffet. I love this place, but I suggest eating only the sushi and the fresh, grilled stir fry. That manager has no consideration for cleanliness or his customers. It seems all he cares about is feed, feed, feed, pumping out the food and getting people in and out. Makes me wonder what else they cut corners on. A shame, because its great sushi for the price.

Para alguien que quiera comer sushi por primera vez no creo que esta sea una buena elección, para alguien que no le importe la calidad, solo comer, creo que la opción de lunch de lunes a viernes está bien, el lugar es limpio y tiene muy buen servicio, es amplio, pero la variedad es pequeña y de muy mala calidad, mucho menos para $20.95.

There is nothing upscale about this place. I was visiting from Montreal, Canada. Found this place by Yelp. It had OK reviews... This place is the worst buffet Ive ate in the past 10 years! The washroom is scary dirty and makes you think twice about how their kitchen is. We were lucky we didnt get sick of anything! Sushi is the tipical buffet sushi; rice is too soft and fish isnt fresh. The meat buffet was all somewhat overcooked from sitting there for a long time... and the place was 50% packed! New food that came out was as bad. This is a Japanese restaurant and we were the only asians there... says alot about the authenticity. I strongly recommend AGAINST this place! You wont regret it!

Actually dont want to give them a star at all! This evening I witnessed straight up discrimination by the manager of this establishment. A group of people were having dinner and had a disabled child with them, the child acted out a couple times and the manager did not warn them did not ask them if something is wrong, no the manager kicks them out of the restaurant. I understand people want to have dinner and enjoy, but dont disabled children deserve to go out too. That manager could have been a decent human being and first asked the group to do something about the child. Will never be back there again.

If I could give this disgusting joint zero stars, I would do it gladly. I am currently 36 hours into one of the worst bouts of food poisoning I have ever had thanks to a lunchtime trip to Kyojin on Sunday. I had mostly salmon sushi and a couple of crab rangoons. Everything tasted bad but the real fun came later when my stomach revolted against me and all gastrointestinal hell broke loose. It is currently 5:42am and Ive been up for the last several hours still trying to expel whatever poisonous slime I consumed at Kyojin. Do yourself a huge favor and avoid this dump like the plague.

Nothing that Id call gourmet but its worth the price if you want to feed a bunch of people (teenage boys in the mix!) without much hassle. Theres soup, amazingly delicious sushi, hibachi, cold seafood, and fresh fruits and ice cream for dessert. Lunchtime, youre looking at $14.50 a head (tax/tip included). You will not leave hungry if you put your mind to it, haha! The service was just fine, perhaps because we everyone was fresh and ready to go... Or maybe it was just a really nice a day in the attitude department. Five stars!

Ill start by saying that I personally dont care for fish or seafood, but my husband does. We go to Kyojin at least once a week for lunch, on average (at his insistence), and always enjoy it. There are usually at least 3 vegetarian sushi options, and plenty to choose from on the "hot table", as well as cold salads and edamame (steamed soybeans) in the pod. I never leave hungry! Weve been going there for years, and the staff knows us, knows what we like, and never fail to take care of us. Always pleasant and efficient.

Well i got to say this is the best sushi buffet in Miami. Lunch is like $12+ and dinner like $20. I do recommend to go on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays nights if you want to eat unlimited crab legs. The sushi taste great and the service us good. Now i been going there for like a year now and I was there 2 days ago and when i finish eating i found a small cockroach on the table i was like WTF, I informed the waitress and she just look at it and kill it with her finger and did absolutely nothing about it >:(.

I went to this buffet for the first time because it was closer to my school than my usual visit to shinju. i was impressed by the service and most of their food as well. However the sushi and roll selection was less than the selection they have at shinju. Also i found that their sushi had less fish on it and more rice than shinjus sushi. Thats why i rate it a 4 instead of a 5. To be completely honest, i much rather go to shinju than kyojin because the difference in the time to get there is only 5 minutes.

In a buffet youre supposed to replace items when they run low and keep heated food items warm if youve kept them out for a prolonged period of time. This place apparently has never heard of that before. Also, I think their all you can eat policy was meant to be a scam because if you get more than 2 plates the restaurant manager starts giving you dirty looks as she walks around. Overall, the place is overrated and these people dont know how to run a buffet.

This is the worst restaurant I ever seen in my life. I went there last week. The foods are very nasty and 2-3 days old food. When I complained the manager. They headed the old food in micro-woven and gave me. But after heating, there is very terrific smell and I could not be able to eat those foods. Then I paid money and went out. Then I went to another nearby restaurant.

There tends to be too much salt in the lobster and crab. They dont know how to make sushi rice ... it is often like a solid paste. The fish is watery from defrosting. It gets old pretty quick, so we find ourselves not coming back. It was better in the past, so we keep giving it another try, but they seem to be operating permanently at a lower level.

incredible reasonable prices; a wide variety of food (cooked and fresh, meat and fish, vegetables, desserts, ....); very good service, nice and fast; everything clean, pleasant. sushi is great, and their salmon is delightful, they have a lot of things for the client to choose, with high quality, and they are really nice and professional.
