It was the first time that I, my Japanese wife and a friend, visited this buffet. It turned out to be a convenient and nearby because our original choice was closed for lunch. Since were both very skeptical of the quality of any buffet, we were not expecting much. BOY! Were we surprised! The decor was brightly decorated, but tasteful. Their food choices were surprisingly varied. I took my first plate from the Mongolian grill. The cook was extremely cordial. He prepared my dish chicken and vegetables with extra chopped garlic and an excellent garlic sauce. It was delicious. I then decided to take the plunge and try the sushi. Again, the sushi chef was also super cordial and made me a plate of tuna sashimi to which I added a few pieces of their rolls. The tuna was still a bit frozen, but VERY fresh. That meant that when it was added to their buffet table it would not get too warm. The hand roll was exceptional. Next I tried some of the cooked food and I was amazed to see baby clams in black beans, which was also delicious! So was the bokchoi cabbage and the string beans. The quality and taste of the sushi and the cooked food was amazing. The only thing that prevented me from giving this restaurant a five star rating was the service, which was very typical of Asian buffets and I rated it poor. However, in all, it was a terrific lunch and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves Asian food.

Great Food, but average Service, they have a selection of both Japanese roll Sushi and Chinese-American cuisine. Including sweet and sour, sesame seed, black pepper, teriaki chicken, beef, seafood, white rice and fried rice. They have like 15-20 different selections of sushi. There is also a small fruit bar and dessert bar. The service is not excellent, but it is alright, it seems some of the cooks and workers are not Asian, however the waitresses, cashier and the Itamae (sushi Chef) appear to be Asian and dont seem fluent in English, though it is not a major detracting factor. The interior decoration is very well done. Restaurant is clean as well as the tables, dishes, and cutlery. Also all the food looked and tasted freshly made. However the thing that prevents me giving this restaurant five stars are the location, compared to the inside it seem old and outdated for the local. The Sushi runs out quickly on busy days because they only have three people making the rolls. Finally lunch for one person plus the drink come out at $ 11.45, so its more expensive than lunch at some other establishments, but for the amount you can serve yourself (I got three plate fulls piled high) it seems fair. Recommend for large family outings or friends, for a good time, dont know if they have alcoholic drinks.

I like this place but they dont have many options, just the regular rolls. Tasty is good, staff is friendly and courteous. It is a good place to eat Japanese food, they have everything: rolls, sashimis, fried, hibachi... So, probably youll be fine, but just with the regular.

Check out this excellent new all you can eat Sushi Buffet! I just learned of it a couple weeks ago and was able to make it out this week. The inside is brand new, matching the decor of an upscale restaurant. The staff was nice and attentive. The sushi buffet was clean and well stocked. In the back they have a Hibachi grill with all of the standard fixings. Next to that was a Japanese themed hot food buffet. As far as food quality, Im a sushi snob and I give their sushi two thumbs up! The salmon and yellowtail nigiri was fresh and melted in your mouth. In addition of their nigiri selection, they had a couple dozen other specialty and standard rolls which were all excellent. I didnt try the hibachi but I tried a few things on their hot bar and the mongolian beef and spring rolls were spot-on. The best part about this place is that their buffet is less than $10 at lunch time! I highly recommend this place and Im excited that it is so close to work and home. Ill definitely be back!

When it first opened we had awesome service and fresh food. Now that theyve been open for a couple years the service is hit-and-miss unless you get Tiffany and the food is Only halfway decent. However the staff knows that when I tip I tip extremely well. However tonight I was unable to tip, and we were eating the lunch menu at 4:30, but they charged us for dinner so it was $46 for 3 people ($2.00 for hot tea, and 2.95 for sweet tea). Then the waitress had the fall to circle at the bottom of the receipt the gratuity. Now to my knowledge gratuity is given as reward for a job well done. The only thing this waitress did was make sure that the sweet tea was filled. Our hot tea never got refilled. To me that is not worth $6 for a tip. I dont know that Ill be going back anytime soon......

This is my third favorite Asian/American buffet mainly because its not on any route I normally use, its out of my way to get to it. BUT, since they are out of my way and my #3, you know, or should deduce that there is something good here. There is and its the food and service. The own himself takes the helm of Dao and positions himself at the head of the sushi table, very friendly and easy going. He insists on making it known that they do specialized rolls upon request and for those of you who dont see the appeal of sushi get an option of easily 50-60 other fish, beef, vegetables, soups salads and desserts. One more thing, they are a little pricey for my blood as I already am going "out of the way" but personally the sushi brings me back and the scenery change is nice as well.

This buffet was amazing when they first opened. Me and my family never had a horrible experience until today for dinner. The staff is very kind and pleasant as always. We were seated, went to grab our plates then bam oh my geeeeeeez. The food was so old,dry and looked horrible. The food looked like it was sitting there forever. We never complain, but my fiance approached one of the ladies and said can you make more food this is disgusting and old she looked and yelled to the staff in back. They made new food. Thank you but there prices. Family of 5. $72.52 later. Horrible experience. We used to spend like $45 ish. What happened? Oh yeah they charge a dollar for a to go cup.

Great experience. Ridiculously cheep for how good the food, service, and experience was. At the sushi bar they have two sushi chefs taking requests of whatever you want. They have stir fry hibatchi area as well as 10lb tubs of 8 flavors of ice cream. Really nice service, very patient and nice. Only suggestion I would have would be to increase prices and get another sushi chef. Because if there are too many people making requests they cant handle it by themselves. And maybe a location change would be a good Idea as well.
