I have been coming to this place for the last two years but today one of the staff members completely humiliated me in front of the whole restaurant. I usually come in to get a "to go" box so I can eat at work.... Today I went in and did my normal sushi box (which they usually charge me $13 for, no questions asked) as I went to go pay for my lunch, the woman asked me to open my box so she could individually count my sushi pieces... I told her I had about 15 pieces and I opened the box for her.I also advised her that Im usually charged the normal lunch fee so I did not understand. She treated me like I was trying to rob the place... she talked down to me and told me I could leave if I didnt want to count the sushi. I told her to just charge me what she thought was fair. She then insisted that I "take every piece out of the box and transfer them to another box so we could count the food together." I told her it was completely inappropriate and this has never happened to me here before... She then proceeded to say "Ok well I just work here so do you want it or not?" Finally in all frustration, I told her "for the fourth time, just charge me what you think is fair." The woman then charged me $18 for my LUNCH (I was there at 12pm and the normal BUFFET price is around $10)... I will never do business here again. I was completely humiliated and OVER CHARGED. The sushi was soggy and fell apart when picked up.... it just was not worth the embarrassment or my hard earned money. I hope no one else is treated like this....

They served me Peanut Chicken (I have a severe allergy to peanuts). Now, usually that wouldnt be a big deal with this being a buffet and you get your own food. Here is the problem though. The dish that the peanut chicken was on was large enough to cover both sides of the buffet table. One side said Peanut Chicken (Spelled Penut Chicken on their label) but the other side did not. That was the side that I had picked it up from. The room that my table was located in was on that side so obviously I would hit that side first. Now many would say, "Why didnt you read the label on the other side?". I did and it was not directly over the Peanut Chicken. After I realized that I had just eaten peanuts, I immediately told my server who told me that it was Peanut Chicken. I told her what Ive told you, it wasnt labeled as such. Then, my server, a lady from the kitchen, and the manager all went to point out where it did even after I showed them the side that didnt. By the end of my meal I walked to the front to take care of my bill. Youd think that after all of this I would get something. Maybe even have my meal comped (all $8 of it). Nope, but they assured me that they had labeled the other side now. I didnt know what to say. They make a huge mistake that caused them to technically poison me and then didnt offer to do anything. My recommendation, find another buffet. Theres an amazing one just off 41 with the same sushi buffet and Hibachi grill.

While dining on 9/30/2014, I discovered a fly in my soup. I requested to see the manager, but was told there was none on duty. A female employee saw the fly and responded "Eeww, thats bad". Since she was not the manager, I took a photo of the plate before she could remove it from our table. She became offended and asked why I took the photo. No apology was given, nor any offer of making an adjustment to the bill (even though my intention was not to get a free or discounted meal out of this). She said that she would take care of it. She never returned, and instead, our waitress just dropped the bill on the table without a word. I went to see the non-manager woman at the cash register/hostess station and tried to speak to her. She would not let me talk, and just kept speaking over me, even raising her voice angrily and pointing at me. A man who turned out to be the owner asked what was going on. As I was trying to explain to the owner, this same woman refused to let me speak. By then I told the owner that it was not my intention to get them in trouble, but I was concerned about the restaurants sanitary conditions. A simple apology and a decent corrective action to our complaint would have sufficed, but because of their horrible treatment of us after we reported the incident, I will make sure that I tell everyone I know not to go this restaurant.

This was the worst buffet experience ever. The dishes were dirty, bent silverware and chipped sharp plates. The food was cold and congealed, even though we went during the earliest dinner period, when the food should have been switched out and refilled for the higher priced dinner vs lunch cost. We took only a bite of this and that, trying to find one dish that we would want to fill up on,but we couldnt find anything on the buffet that was actually warm or fresh. When we were checking out, I spoke up about the poor quality, and the girl said," You should have got me,I would heat for you" and really,I tried not to look as disgusted as I felt at the suggestion that I would want or trust food that had obviously been out for WAY too long, microwaved. We received no discount, even for a future visit where they may have shown some improvement. It is clear to me they do not care about repeat business, as clear as it is that they are unconcerned about the hazards of food poisoning.

There is always a smile for you. Polite and efficient staff. Many speak little English but not a problem. The food is put out in small portions to keep it fresh. Great sushi. I have read some bad reviews. As for condiments they are available (you have to read). They are at end of sushi line. Also some at beginning of sushi display. As for a the poster with a fly in their soup. THIS IS FLORIDA we even have roaches. All you had to do is not eat it. You can bet that person will have flies at their house when they leave the door open too. You can not beat the price! Suggestion, try a little then go back for more. It is a buffet. Yes some dishes are chipped..AGAIN It is a buffet, things get chipped by the patrons. You want perfect,go pay $200.00 plus as a fancy place. Over all this place is a great value and has good food. I used to eat this place but havent in over a year which I should have kept it that way! The sushi was very crappy everything looked dried out, old and tasted horrible so I switched to the buffet...everything looked dried out, old and again tasted horrible! If that wasnt enough I get my bill and its $16 for one person! I have never seen a buffet charge the same price for a Monday as they do for the weekend and I wouldnt have complained if it werent SO bad! By the time I got home which was about 20 mins I was sick to my stomach and had to RUN to the bathroom! STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!! I will NEVER eat here again and neither should you!!
