I attended the Wondermade Workshop, where locals were invited to "tour the Wondermade kitchen, enjoy drinks and treats, have a Q&A session with an official marshmallow agent and learn to cut and decorate your very own marshmallows". I enjoyed the tour and the owners and staff were very friendly, and the workshop was a fun hands-on way to learn more about how Wondermades creation process works. A few points of constructive criticism for future workshops: - I found the shop to be a little bit hot, so that kept us from ordering any coffee or hot chocolate. - With only having 4 tables available there was no seating for many of the guests of the event. Its understandable with the small shop space that you would only have a small amount of tables, but perhaps putting out more chairs along the walls would make it easier to accommodate a larger amount of people for these events? - For busier normal business days, perhaps a bar along the wall (you already had a couple of nice red stools that you could use) and outside seating would be a nice addition. - The decorating part of the tour had a couple drawbacks that could easily be remedied (lose the cookie cutters, they were a cute idea in theory but very hard to use in practice; provide tiny spoons for marshmallow toppings like sprinkles, pretzels and sugar instead of promoting that people use their hands, etc.). Overall the event was fun, informative and gave us a good chance to view their new shop and taste their creations. Wondermade is a great addition to downtown Sanford and I hope that they continue to do well both locally and with their online sales.

Okay so their ice-cream is absolutely fantastic, ranging from totally basic normal flavors to the absolutely extreme. Like corn muffin, waffles and syrup, avocado or lavender (which is a great mix on a hot summer day) depending on the season and the mood of whoevers in the back mixing the flavors change constantly, so you can never go in there and guarantee your favorite will be there. While it may seem annoying to some it adds to the fun and surprise. It also forces you out of your comfort zone and since they offer samples it encourages you to try new flavors every time youre there. So before you know it youll have 15 favorite flavors of ice cream instead of just one. Oddly enough however, it isnt really the thing that draws me in anymore. Its the weird flavors of homemade marshmallows (right in the shop kitchen, you can sometimes catch them on certain days making marshmallows by hand. Workers covered in marshmallow dust up to their elbows lol) and random sweets they have at the front that I absolutely die for. Crazy sorts of flavors like Fireball, gold & champagne, lavender, and bourbon. The list goes on. They also toast a stick of 3 right in front of you if thats what youd like or you can buy a whole box to take home and share. Recently they opened the location to be even larger and now they have vegan ice cream which is absolutely mind-blowingly fantastic. My favorite of which is the Pina Colada. Just the right amount of coconut and just the right amount of pineapple. You just havent had homemade until youve had it wondermade.

My boyfriend and I came in here after reading the reviews and I have to say Im glad we did. At first I was a little hesitant because the decor isnt all that great but as soon as I saw they had FOUR vegan flavors I was immediately excited. I got the vegan caramelized banana and chocolate chunk ice cream and my boy friend got the sweet cornbread ice cream. Both of which were amazing. The vegan banana ice cream tasted like real bananas and not the fake banana flavor that so many banana ice cream flavors have. My boyfriend and I were pleasantly surprised and enjoyed our visit.

It must be great to have a market to yourself. While there are other artisan marshmallow makers around the country, Wondermade has our area pretty locked up, and Jenn and Nathan Clark have made a success of a kooky business by paying attention to quality, creating inventive flavors and playing up the fun factor. Bourbon and gin marshmallows? Of course! Serve puffy cubes of whipped sugar in fresh roast Lineage coffee? Why not? From fruity chocolate-covered strawberry to seasonal eggnog and peppermint, there’s a pillowy treat for everyone’s taste.

First timers...cute cozy spot for a new business. Tried Smores graham cracker, then the Smores marshmallow box, and a trio skewer with punpkin, bourbon and honey! All were amazing! The flavors were great together! Loved how they torch them right in front of you! The texture was definitely different, but the marshmallows still melted in your mouth! This place is kid approved! My niece loved her Smores! She keeps asking me when well be able to go back! We definitely will be back! Its a great place for a well deserved sweet snack!

Was super excited about the idea of boozy marshmallows and ordered 2+ weeks before I needed them, with a delivery date that I would need them by. Even though the website allows you to add a delivery date, it doesnt record it on the order, so I sent 2 follow up emails to confirm that I would receive them by the date needed, but never got a response. Package ended up arriving after I needed them. Customer service seems to be lacking but the product was good.

Definitely not one for homemade anything, especially food since it can either be really good or really bad. But the ladies at wonder made really have a good thing going. Ice cream is delicious, not too overpowering but definitely flavorful. Didnt get the chance to this time but I will definitely be back for their homemade marshmallows!!!

Excellent marshmallows and ice cream! Theyre the same establishment that sells gourmet marshmallows to universal studios so you know its got to be good. Do yourself a favor and try the cornbread ice cream if they have it in stock!

Such a cute store! The chocolate covered marshmallows and the ice cream are fantastic! Will definitely be back. Thinking ahead I will definitely be getting some of these for the holidays as hostess gifts and stocking stuffers.

Their new homemade ice-cream is delicious. Funfetti is a cake batter flavor with sprinkles and it has a texture like cake batter once it melts in your mouth.
