At first visit the Batista and owner were kind, the view/atmosphere is outdoors and wonderful - second visit I brought a friend, his ice-cream cone had a large piece of plastic in it and politely showed it to the Batista. She didnt apologize or offer a refund or replacement but instead explained to him how that flavor was just opened and... The owner then pulled me aside and implied that he falsified this occurrence. Further, because there were a group of four who wanted to have both breakfast (from the associated next door restaurant) and coffee, we were asked, then rudely huried to another table. We hope that one day a quality professional takes ownership and does justice to the wonderful locale and historic building, providing cordial, appropriate service. I dont remember how the coffee tasted amidst everything else that occurred!

Im at a loss with this coffee shop. Weve tried to purchase coffee - twice - and have never actually been served. The first time we were told it would be ten minutes, then ten minutes more, as we watched two servers count their cash drawers well into being open. They seemed perturbed and inconvenienced. We left after it began to rain and they were still counting. Thinking maybe the first time was an anomaly, we went a second time - and were told the same thing nearly forty minutes into being open. There will not be a third attempt. Its bewildering to see such a strong level of customer discouragement. I dont know how their coffee is, but this establishment is not worthy of your business.

I absolutely loved this place! I was with my girlfriend on vacation in September of 2015, walking around town in dire need of some coffee. We came across a restaurant and a server there recommended Crucial as she noticed I was very picky on what I wanted. At first glance, people may think and see a run down old house but for me it was different. I knew I was in for a treat and I wasnt wrong at all. It was serene with loads of cute things all over the walls and the coffee was great! The barista on the other hand wasnt too friendly nor did it seem like he enjoyed his job.

Ive only been here once, but wouldnt return! I purchased two tall lattes and they were awful! To begin with, the service was extremely slow, even with no rush. They are more expensive than Starbucks, my two lattes were nearly $12, even specialty drinks at Starbucks dont cost $6 a piece for a tall. I would not have cared to pay $6 if they were good lattes. But they were SO SUGARY. All-in-all slow unfriendly staff, and overpriced for the quality of the drink. Dont waste your money. City Coffee is in the same area a far-cry better than here.

Very overpriced and even more unfriendly staff. Ive given them the benefit of the doubt and revisted several times if I already happen to be on Saint George Street and need coffee, but every single time, they are as rude and unfriendly as can be. I see other reviewers agree so they must treat everyone like this for some reason. Its very unfortunate bc its a super cute place and has a great selection of drinks to choose from (far too expensive for the quality though). Keep walking and youll find some much better places nearby.

We tried this coffee shop for the first time today. Its a really really cute little place with a beautiful garden to sit in and enjoy your coffee. The barista was friendly and answered all my questions, they have a pretty large list of drinks. I finally decided to go with the spotted owl latte and it was absolutely delicious. I am a coffee addict and this one definitely hit the spot. Way better than starbucks. My family had a few of drinks and all were satisfied as well. We will definitely be coming back.

I adore the rustic atmosphere of this place. It fits right into the streets of historic St. Augustine. Thier coffees are amazing too. We had the Snickers cappuccino and it was mind blowing. Not only was the coffee strong and delicious it looked like a piece of art, whipped cream, chocolate syrup and a piece of chocolate art to garnish. The best part was that it is across the street from the fort and one block away from hotel. Its a quaint little cafe that I highly suggest checking out.

Normally im really fair with ratings, so Im not just being a hater... coffee (which is my specialty) was okay for where we are... but my wife asked for an iced coffee the barista began to place it in the blender to break up the ice... She politely said that she did not want the coffee blended... he began to tell her he was breaking up the ice... not blending it hahahaha Im sorry... but where Im from if you put anything in the "BLENDER" you are "BLENDING" whatever it is hahaha

Heading out one evening last week (from the Agustin Inn where we stayed for 4 nights), I stopped in for coffee while my husband found us a seat in the little courtyard outside. I chose a snickers hot chocolate for him and a salted caramel latte for myself. After I handed him the hot chocolate and he took a sip, he said, "Its pure heaven." My coffee was also wonderful! We went back the next day and the barista remembered my order! Their homemade key lime pie was also fantastic!

Crucial Coffee Cafe is one of the most quaint coffee shops. I so enjoyed the coffee and was very tempted by the tasty looking treats! It is in a small building that was once a blacksmith shop. Lots of cute gifts as well! And did I mention that there is has the most amazing garden where you can enjoy a visit while you are enjoying your coffee? If you get a chance, be sure to stop by there for a coffee break! Must do for coffee lovers when you are in St Augustine!

This place has so much potential! Very pretty ambiance, a very relaxing spot; this place is very unique I really dont understand why they have the menu that looks like Starbucks! We also ordered sneakers cappuccino that is from their "special" and it tastes funny... They serve everything in plastic cups; very bad. Overall coffee is not that great either. Last but not least the guy working there wasnt nice at all! You guys could do way better than what!

Have come to this place several times in the past while on vacation and even chatted with the owner. This time, we noticed all the profanity, religiously offensive and crude anti-trump magnets around the counter. I guess somehow we missed that before. Very inappropriate and had to walk the children right out of there. Unfortunately, wont be coming back. Cute place, decent ice cream but sad the owner doesnt care about offending customers.

Very disappointed with my last visit! They have these fridge magnets right above the register area with very inappropriate words written in them. Very offensive language, literally curse words! I addressed it with the owner lady, but she was reluctant to take them down. Strange attitude...Would not take my children there, or anyone else.
