Every time I travel, I search for the finest coffeehouses. Deland is lucky enough to have one of the best coffee shops in the country - Trilogy Coffee Roasting Co. The owner Clay Cass, is a true coffee artisan. He scientifically controls the coffee-making process from sourcing to roasting to brewing with some of the finest equipment available. Clay is passionate about coffee. His espresso, iced coffee and pour-overs seem to magically coax flavors out of coffee beans ranging from fruit to chocolate. I recently had a Honduran Roast that knocked me over with a wonderful blueberry flavor. Clay knows how to make coffee drinking a very special experience. Trilogy has an outstanding seating area with antiques and art available for purchase. I love to poke around the various rooms in search of new pieces. Its a great place to bring your laptop or meet friends. You must visit this Deland jewel and experience the flavors Clays passion can conjure from a coffee bean.

Look no further... Trilogy is the only place for pourovers (including Chemex and the Dragon) and outstanding espresso for miles around. As if that wasnt enough, owners Clay and Michelle Cass are also incredibly welcoming, hospitable people who have created a space for local people and visitors to meet, chat, and work together. A real treasure!

Trilogy Coffee in DeLand, FL is absolutely incredible. Features of this incredible establishment include incredible pour over coffee, awesome cold brew, and absolutely pristine espresso. Owner and operator, Clay Cass, has created such an awesome addition to DeLand by using his vast and exquisite base of knowledge on roasting, preparing, and serving the highest quality coffee. I recommend anyone that is in the area to come and experience this magnificent gem in Downtown DeLand.

Although I am not in communion with my fellow brethren of coffee drinkers, I cannot empathize enough how Trilogy Coffee has acted as THE hub for hip Delandites to meet and be in community. Honestly, if it wasnt for Trilogy Coffee, I would still be single, without a jazzy growler of Chicos Brindle Southern Farms kombucha, and probably jobless. Come, one and all! They will desire to know you and interact with you before serving you a phenomenal product. Constantly researching and perfecting their methods for both roasting and brewing, it is literally impossible to say enough good things about this amazing little coffee house.

We live in The Villages, FL and unfortunately really have very few independent restaurants and definitely no independent coffee houses. We like to get away and we did for the day and found this place. Wonderful staff and a great atmosphere. The coffee is as good as you get in Europe. My husband had an espresso and I had a cappuccino. They have many alternatives to dairy milk also. These coffees are spectacular. We cant wait to return.

This place is a great example of forced local pride. Its a carbon copy coffee shop fueled by a local semi-patriotic aging retiree class. The coffee isnt great, tastes like they carbon-copied the recipe behind that just like they copied everything else. Would usually just drive up to Stardust in Winter Park instead, or if I didnt feel like driving - the Starbucks in Orange City.

Ive been traveling the country (east coast thus far) for the seven months and one thing I enjoy is brewing a good cup of coffee for myself each morning. Finding great beans isnt always the easiest, but the bulk stuff Ive received here has been excellent on several occasions. Staff is very attentive and eager to please. The espresso is also good.

Cute little coffee shop off a side street in downtown DeLand. The location is great and the shop is super quiet. Theres inside and outside seating and their prices are very fair. Less expensive than large coffee shops.
