I went to this location with three other members of my family. The staff was very polite and the chips were served crisp and hot with the salsa. I ordered steak fajitas and they were cooked perfectly, though there was not much meat. My brother had to ask for a side of shredded steak. The taste of the meal itself was alright, but it just doesnt compare to steak fajitas at La Fagota. On top of this, the meal kind of tasted strange, but only due to the odd taste of the sautéed onions (a smokey-type taste, which is uncommon to most of the sautéed onions that Ive had at other Mexican restaurants). The four-person booth was a bit small to seat all four of us, but it was decent.

Terrible service. 25 minutes to place an order. Our food order was wrong and our drinks were wrong. We never even got a refill on our drinks. This was also the worst mole sauce Ive ever had (runny and watered down). We couldnt even leave because they would;t bring us the check. When they did they took 15 minutes to come collect it when I placed my crd on the bill with the after standing there. There are plenty of other good locations that will take excellent care of you. Your better off going else where.

My husband and I love mexican food. We have been searching for a place that didnt feel like American mexican food. The salsa was chunky and my husband liked it because there wasnt much cilantro in it and plus it was warm, not cold. He had the tacos and they looked amazing; he said they were the best hes ever had. I had chicken mole which was fantastic, and it was a huge portion. The staff was friendly and nice. And the staffs english was great!

There are several El Vaquero locations in Columbus and the surrounding area. This one is not near the top for me. Been there about 10 times since it close to us, but will travel to Gahanna location for future cowboy fix. Staff is attentive and nice, but dishes are inconsistent, and new weird plating is a turn-off. No Sunday hard liquor license last time we were there.

Some of the best Mexican food Ive had in a while! I highly recommend the chicken fajitas and, if youre 21 or over, margaritas. Fresh guacamole made table side. Seriously delicious. You will not regret stopping in. Also the best cheese dip on the planet! Update: the ensalada tropical is fabulously delicious.

The el vaquero on river road is always exceptionally good, this spin off in pickerington is so bad that taco hell would have been a better experience. The "salsa" was tomato sauce, the chicken in my burrito was straight out of the can. My husbands beef dish was bland and poorly done.

First time there and the food was amazing. Everything was well seasoned and the food did not take long to arrive. The waitress was kind and had an overall satisfying experience. Will definitely be coming back.

Awesome restaurant. Came here with a big group and the service was great. Food is also delicious and come in sizable portions. Good atmosphere with music and rbs. Definitely recommend for a nice time out.
