Recommended by airport employees while traveling a few months ago. 1st visit: I thought the atmosphere was decent (lacking any comfort though), service was "ok" as well as food "OK". In all fairness, I always try a new establishment twice before making a final decision. I came to Fl again this past Friday on business and went to Tap Room a 2nd time. What a mistake. Friday at lunch time, crowded, employees seemed overwhelmed and unorganized. I even noticed a patron busing tables at one point. What?? We waited an "unreasonable" amount of time for our food. And by the looks of it, so did many other anxious complaining patrons. Our food came barely luke warm, very poor presentation, lacking any appeal to actually want to eat it. But we dug in after traveling and our long and unpleasant wait for lunch. 2 people in our group never got refills on their drinks. Lastly, I think the MOST disturbing part of our 1.5 hours there , is we had heard that the owner was in the house and was running the kitchen. As a Chef and Certified Health and safety Manager myself, I found it unbelievable that the owner didnt remove him/herself from that kitchen as they had NO right being in a position that they obviously are not experienced for. The prices clearly indicate that they can afford to pay experienced competent cooks at a good wage. Trying to save a buck doing something you have no business doing is a great way to keep customers from coming back. I would have liked to see the owners on the floor helping the hard working staff, making the customers a bit more happy, maybe even some complimentary appetizers (or at least coffee) would have calmed the obvious unhappy crowd. Wonder if any of the employees even got commended for having to put up with that clear kitchen incompetence????? Doubtful. Although our cook had no more regard for our orders than McDonalds does, we did not punish our server. FINAL visit and we will share our experience with whom ever asks.

I dont make it out to the Lake Nona area often, but I heard good things about Nona Tap Room so figured I would check it out on a Saturday night. The place was pretty busy (always a good sign), and we were able to find a table pretty quickly. There are TVs all around, giving off a bit of a sports bar vibe (could proabably lose a few of them). I was quickly impressed by their beer menu...they certainly live up to their Tap Room moniker. The server was friendly and knowledgeable about all the beers, and even made a few recommendations when we wanted to try something a little different. I ordered the Seared Ahi Tuna appetizer and the Bacon & Bleu Burger. Both items were cooked rare like I asked, and were delicious. If Im ever back in the area, I will certainly make an effort to return.

There is a pretty wide selection of quality drinks here. In other reviews I am seeing people had bad experiences with the service. Ive always had a pleasant experience with the waitresses and waiters. The food is awesome. Its a small menu but there are good options. Very good quality food. I enjoy their fish sandwiches the most along with the sweet potato chips made there. There is a decent amount of seating, but they could use more and the place is very clean for being a bar. I have only went for lunch/ early dinner so I havent had the chance to see how it really gets at night and how the staff is then.

Saw a post on Facebook about Nona Tap Room about 3 weeks to a month ago, but was just able to visit today. Great friends brought me to Nona Tap Room to celebrate my birthday. After seeing a preview a few weeks ago of what they serve, we were looking forward to the visit.... Especially the the $10 unlimited mimosa bar. We were a little disappointed in the taste of the food. It was only ok. Im sorry to say, the $10 unlimited self-serve mimosa bar and friendly staff were the highlight of our visit. Wish the quality and taste of the food were better.

Both times Ive gone I enjoyed the food and beer selection but the bar tender (same guy both times) was not very pleasant or welcoming, the only people he interacted with were staff members. We decided to sit at a table this time and between the 2 waitresses they couldnt keep up with the crowd. One of them was slow and tried to look busy and you could tell the other was picking up the slack which obviously made her attitude and service worse. A few smiles and extra help for the stressed staff would bring me back.

During the summer months , the bar is regularly between 80-83 degrees . The owners are aware of the issue and refuse to make even small improvements ( like ceiling fans if the air conditioning repairs are cost prohibitive) for the comfort of their guests and employees. It is unfortunate because the place has great food, beer selection and staff. When owners take their customers for granted it is insulting. I guess it is off to the local Graffitti Junktion.or Nona Blue.

I just ate here 8-18-16 and it was great the first 15 min then the servers friend showed up and she talked to him for (no exaggeration, I timed it) 22 min about her Xanax prescription then she check on us. My beer was empty for about 15 and my husbands was empty for 20 min. Worst place to spend $50. Oh and they dont sell French fries. So if you want bad/no service and to spend 9 bucks for 4 chicken fingers with no sides that tastes like Chinese this is the place for you.

Im originally from NJ. Everytime Ive come to visit my parents, weve come here. Its an awesome local bar with GREAT food. The staff is AWESOME and it brings me great pleasure to be able to buy a round of beer for the guys in the kitchen cus they make bomb ass food!!! Im glad to say I now live in Orlando and this is by far my favorite place to come have a beer and eat great food with great people!!!

I had a great experience there tonight and ordered Angry Orchard on tap which was great. Had some medium hot wings that were even better than Buffalo Wild Wings! Its a smaller venue, and it got a little loud with some of the louder talkers there , but the wait staff were courteous and professional and quick.

Nona Tap Room has been a staple of the Lake Nona area for several years. Great beer selection and a friendly staff will keep you coming back. The food is a big step above typical bar food - be sure to check out the $5 burgers on Mondays and the weekly specials are usually great.

Owners and employees are rude and focused only on how much profit your party is generating them. dont expect anything but bare minimum service. Avoid this place and drive a little further to Nona Blue, you wont regret it.

Great beer selection and pretty good food. However, if you get there and they are very busy go elsewhere. It is a small place and they dont handle crowds well. This place would be five star if they had a bigger location.
