I just had dinner at Summer Palace a few hours ago and I do not intend to EVER return there. Perhaps it was the below average sushi or the insipid rice or maybe even the tasteless tea that put me off but the dish that really made ruined my entire dinner experience was the Dragon Phoenix. Sounds majestic doesnt it? So did the description of "fresh lobster", chicken, bamboo shoots, broccoli and mushrooms all marinated in white wine. Surely this is worth $15.95. I thought wrong. If i wanted poorly cut chicken, rubbery lobster, overcooked vegetables dashed an over generous amount of salt, I might as well go to some third world country with zero knowledge about asian food. The dish looked absolutely revolting; the chicken looked like undercooked pig intestines and the lobster was simply pathetic. Even the white wine looked like stale vomit. I am a Singaporean and I know what Asian food tastes like. I am ashamed that Asian food is being served and prepared in such a haphazard and tasteless manner. If you are someone who wants to taste authentic Asian food for a reasonable price, Summer Palace comes the furthest from your goal.

Growing up in the North, and transplanting to Florida, Ive grown to miss that "New England" or even "New York" styled Chinese food that I took for granted nearly twenty years. However, you learn to adapt. When I first moved down here, I got access to Pei Wei, which is good (though overtly not authentic). And I also learned to explore all those little niche establishments. Summer Palace is one of those places. Their distinct quality of batter (maybe fry time as well) lends itself to the Sesame and General Tsos chicken better than most of the local competition. It arrives at your table with that distinct crispy layer in the middle instead of a soggy mess falling off the meat. Ive been here several times, and I intend to come back many more.

I have been eating here for two years and last night was my last time. The so called "all you can eat sushi" has slowly become all you can eat rice. My order of sushi had transparent strips of tuna. The meat is so thin I think they used a deli slicer. It is an absolute rip off. When I complained I was actually told by the manager that for all you can eat customers they slice the sushi very thin. If I wanted a real serving I would have to order from the regular menu. Their quality and commitment to excellence has made a dreadful turn. Horrible, Horrible, Horrible!

Im from New York I know what chines food is supposed to taste like...this place is perfect! the rice is amazing no peas and carrots and that is how it should be..pure perfection...everything Ive order here is delicious. the only down side is its a little pricier then most fast food Chinese places but then again you get what you pay for! If you eat in most of the waitresses are nice, there is one young girl that is just awful though. But trust me the food is amazing...if your looking for a good authentic place ..this is it!

Great food amazing price! Ever time I have sushi craving i can get a single roll for decently priced, or spend a little over 20 and get all the sushi i can eat! and i can pound down a huge chunk! the chinesse is really good to but i go for there amazing sushi prices! my personal favs are the Dynamite rolls and the white tuna ( just melts in you mouth and it beyond delious) I alway leave with a smile, the staff knows theyre regulars as well and always greats me and pretty much knows my order when i get there.

I was very disappointed with the food I received. The day after hurricane Irma they were pretty much the only place open to get food so the wait was extensive and that I understand however, when I received my food the dumplings were suppose to be pan fried they were soggy and greasy, the fried rice was also greasy. Also, none of the food had any seasoning everything was bland. I will say the vegetables were bright and crunchy but also bland.

They recently started all you can eat sushi for 19.95. The sushi was good but did not have a wide range of choices. The service was slow and the price does not include soup or salad. Crazy buffet, which is about 30mins away from this location, is a better value for around $11 for lunch and has Chinese dishes and soup. Summer Palace is over priced and you dont even get treated like a king at this palace.

Probably the worst chinese food Ive ever had, and to take that prize Ive ordered from places that sell both pizza and chinese under the same roof.. I would compare the chinese food to a buffet, food was soggy, too much sauce, chicken was thigh meat and not breast (cheap), the egg roll was greasy and fell apart, the rice was old and tasteless. I paid $13.95 for a General Tsos chicken, which is a rip off

If i could give 1 star i would. We spent over $50 on delivery for 3 meals first we couldnt select different rice with our $13 meals then when our food arrived my general tso chicken was just off from color to taste just not right. My wifes tariaki chicken was 95% vegetables and the chicken didnt taste like anything let alone tariaki. Needless to say we will not be ordering from them again.

We were famished and they accommodated by bringing the meal within 5 minutes! The sushi was just as good as the best Ive had anywhere and the shrimp lo mein was delicious. The general tsos chicken was not my favorite and yet everything else was great and service came with a smile. We were only there for 30 minutes with our 2 little kids and loved it! We will be back.

I got a shrimp chow mein with wonton soup. The wonton tasted so gross that I spit them out. The soup itself was so clear it might as well have been heated water. The shrimp was okay but the chow mein was slimy and gross looking. Good price but horrible food. Definitely wont be buying again I prefer Bamboo Wok over this place anyday.

Absolutely the BEST chinese food Ive ever eaten! So much better than panda express and mall chinese. The pork fried rice is delicious and tastes fresh and homemade. My favorite sushi is the Philadelphia roll and the Golden GB Roll! Service is wonderful, everyone is polite and attentive. Go here, you wont be disappointed! :)

They always remember my favorites, and every time I come they have Premiere customer service! I highly suggest summer Palace!

I would rate the sushi 1 star and the chinese food 4 stars. The sushi is just not good after trying it twice. That being said, the sesame chicken was some some of the best Ive had. Very good crab rangoons, also. Ive never dined in, only take out so I cant comment on the service.

The only place in town that serves a good garlic eggplant. The prawns in white sauce are all delicious, and weve liked more or less everything weve ever had here! One of my favorite places for Chinese anywhere in Orlando, and always a family favorite for going out nights.
