This was my first trip to the Nine dragon and have admittedly not heard or read much about the food. Despite being 15 minutes late to our reservation and it being very busy we were still seated upon arrival. The service was excellent! Our waitress easily handled our table as well as several others. My boyfriend and I ordered the Nine Dragons treasure special and it was well worth the money. We received our choice of soup, entree, and dessert. I couldnt resist the pork belly steamed buns and was delighted with how flavorful they are! If you dont like fatty cuts of meat this isnt for you. The pork belly was delicately cooked and delicious alongside crunchy noodles, onions, and an orange sauce in a nice soft steamed bun. You get two for 7.00. The chicken soup was a normal chicken consome broth with two tasty dumplings. The canton pepper beef had a strong smoked flavor that my boyfriend enjoyed. I liked the honey garlic chicken which had more a honey taste than garluc but was nice and crunchy. Both were served with steamed white rice. The caramel ginger ice cream heavily tasted of ginger which was too strong for my boyfriends palette. I liked the strawberry red bean ice cream but the strawberry flavor overwhelmed the delicate red bean flavor. This was an enjoyable dinner with good, flavorful food and excellent service. I definitely recommend.

If you are an AP, its worth the time. If you are going for Epcot for only one time or a few times in your life, then pass. There are much better options. I have Disney AP but most of the time I just end up going to Epcot for Nine Dragons. That being said, I have eaten here over 20 times. Here is my overall take: Its really good food as far as Chinese food goes, but the price is a bit steep. It is Disney though, so always expect a markup. That doesnt bother me though. Also, The place is PACKED. Do not expect a quiet night. It is always very busy for dinner, and the tables are so close to each other when you try to get in you are sticking your butt in the persons face who is seated to the table next to you. There is no quiet corner because your so close to the next person all you have to do it turn to them and ask them to pass the soy sauce. The service is always pretty good, I have always been served in a timely manner. The servers are not all the nicest, but are never rude. I have always enjoyed my meal and never had a bad dinner. Its one of my favorite places to eat in Epcot. Its not 5 stars only because of how close the tables are.

As authentic as it gets! I see alot of reviews saying its not authentic Chinese food but I have to disagree. We asked the waitress if it was authentic and she explained to us that because if the size of China and all the little cities and towns the food will always be different and since the cooks are from different parts of China the food is always prepared differently. The cooks and staff are from the Country representative program that Disney has and brings them for 14 months as a college exchange program and are also giving a job here. Every place in Epcots World Showcase is like this so all food is authentic as can be. Also this place was fantastic and our waitress was very nice and patient! I almost walked out with my glass of soda and she ran to the back and got me a togo cup full of soda at no charge!

Nice anchor restaurant for the China section of the World Showcase. I feel like the portions couldve been a bit bigger. I had the Pepper Beef, and while it was delicious, i felt it was a little simple for a $$ restaurant. The atmosphere is nice. Classic Chinese restaurant ambience. I will say. The service here is QUICK. This is most likely attributed to the fact that its Disney, and prompt service = happy families. We got our food within 15 minutes of ordering it! Wait staff was friendly, checking in frequently, and were understanding of our booking situation, that of which we had a party of 16, and they were more than accommodating in terms of splitting the bill. Overall, 4/5 stars, because, while not perfect, the friendly staff and good food really shine for this restaurant.

I would have to say that the evening we spent at the Nine Dragons was one of the nicest dinners we have ever had, And certainly the best Chinese we have had in a long time. The family dinner was well worth the value, with the chicken dumpling consumme being very warming and tasty, and the honey sesame chicken being a large portion, well worth the value. The star of the entrees had to be the canton beef, which was very tender and coated in a lovely sauce. As well as this, a dessert of ice cream is given all for the price of $26 dollar. The service was also excellent, and our drink refills were always prompt and without us asking, as well as very polite servers. All in all, an excellent dining experience and must try for anyone intending to dine in Epcot.

Service was poor. The waitress sat my boyfriend and I directly next to some other couple in the back of the restaurant when it was completely empty in the back. We asked if we could please have a new table and she said I dont know, I have to check. We both agreed it was awkward, but at least got a new table less close to the couple. Then the food was horrible. It should not cost $10 for just two egg rolls because that is just ridiculous. Also my boyfriend and I have made better tofu, vegetables, and white rice together. It lacked so much flavor. The meal was worth about maybe $12 verses the $35 dollars we paid. We left still hungry because we were not going to waste more money on their food. We both agree to never go back and neither should you.

One of the best meals we had at Disney! We had a reservation for dinner and our table was ready when we arrived. We had a party of 8 people which the wait staff handled well. My drink was always promptly refilled as was everyones at our table, which was great considering how hot and humid it was outside. I ordered the honey sesame chicken which was hot, crispy, and tasty! Everyone at our table ordered something different and everyone loved their meals. The kids entree came on a panda plate which I thought was a great touch. Next time we go to Disney we are definitely coming back to Nine Dragons!

The food and service are great! If youve already seen IllumiNations from the park once or twice, try making a dinner reservation around 8:45 at Nine Dragons for a fun view of the show during dinner. Youll want a seat in the far corner from the entrance to be able to see it, but theyre usually good about sitting you with a view. They pump in the music from the show into the restaurant during the show so you can follow along. You can also see the Symphony in the Stars Star Wars firework show at Hollywood Studios after IllumiNations from a few seats in the restaurant.

I really do not understand all of the negative reviews. Every time I come to Epcot, I always eat here. I come quite often since Im a passholder that lives pretty close by. I never once been disappointed by the food or service I receive. The food is freshly made and authentic, its always amazing how blown away I am with the amazing flavors. I always crave their food because its so good. This place will make you hate all Americanized Chinese take out places. Its a definite must to try this place. It might be a little pricey but its definitely worth the money.
