Terrible service, I had reservations for indoor dining but when I got there my table wasnt ready so they sat me upstairs in the outside balcony which was very hot and humid not the way I had planned to have dinner. after about 10 minutes I was ready to order but felt sticky and sweaty so I told the waiter I would like to wait for my reserved table instead they sent me downstairs to the hostess which told me I had to wait an hour because my table was already given to somebody else when I took the upstairs balcony table. I asked for the manager whos name was Emer he argued with me about being busy and I had to wait an hour because there were people in front of me I explained I had reservations for indoor dinning. At this moment I was frustrated and told him I was going to report the restaurant to Disney Guest Relations. Thats when he calm down and told me he was going to get us the next available table in which I still had to wait 35 minutes before being sat down. When the waiter came He was not attentive our drinks were not refilled we had to ask him to refill them. When our food came I ordered the shrimp pad thai it was overwhelming with sauce too much did not not look appealing nor did it tasted any better my husband ordered the spareribs it had a weird smell it didnt tasted anything like ribs it tasted more like teriyaki chicken smothered in some type of sauce it was chewy and squishy. My sister ordered the Chicken Lo Mein, the chicken and Lo mein was already mixed in together, it looked mushy and messy and unappetizing. There was a huge pile of ginger on the side of the plate, the smell alone was overwhelming. Since the food tasted weird, she figured shed mix the ginger in, since it was on the side of the plate and she assumed it was there to be mixed in. When she mixed it in it was just a terrible overwhelming ginger taste so she told the waiter in which he told her that she was not supposed to mix the ginger in and it was only there for decoration. How would she have known that? It was on the plate, in a huge pile. Everything on the plate should be edible. it didnt make the plate look fancy, so i dont understand why it wouldve been a decoration, if anything, it made the plate look even more like a complete mess. I felt like he reprimanded her on what she did wrong, and just brushed her off and asked her what else she would like to eat instead. She ended up ordering the Shrimp Tempura, which she ended up not eating at all because when she took a bite, it had spicy mayo. It was a bit surprising because Shrimp Tempura is supposed to have Eel sauce, not spicy mayo. It made the breaded shrimp tempura soggy and it was just an unpleasant taste. We had a very unpleasant dinner. I would not recommend this restaurant, not only because of the horrible food, but also the horrible staff. The interior was beautiful and clean, but its not worth it if youre going to be wasting so much money on terrible service. DO NOT EAT HERE!!!

Was excited to go to this restaurant and expecting something great since it would take two of my Disney dining sit down credits. Was seated immediately with my reservation and immediately was in awe by the beautiful restaurant atmosphere. My date and I felt like we were transported to a classy LA restaurant complete with techno music playing, beautiful lighting, artistic themed pictures on the wall and sitting close enough to other tables to hear their conversations and smell their food. However after looking at the menu I was immediately confused why it took two sit down credits for the Disney dining plan, nothing seemed worth two credits and when our waitress took our order she explained rice was not included in the dining plan and would cost extra. Following this when asked about the beer selection she described the beers by their colors and was unable to tell anything more about them. When our order was finally placed our appetizer of 3 crab ragoons arrived right away but we waited an hour for the entrées. Our waitress was never seen and after 30 minutes made mention that our food should be coming, but gave no reason or apology. Several managers at this point were walking around but none stopped to check on us. When the food arrived it was good, but nothing to write home about. Finally after being in the restaurant for an hour and an half it was finally desert time, being as we were sick of being there with pounding headaches from listening to the same techno song on repeat, we asked if we could just take it to go. Our waitress seemed confused and was unsure if the deserts could be taken to go, following a lengthy absence from our table she returned to inform us the desert would have to be served to the table and then she would box it for it. Fine and dandy, however by this point it had been two hours and we were fed up. Finally it was check time, with our deserts boxed up and ready to go our server had the audacity to show us the bill and point out that our total bill was higher on one check than another and that it would affect her tip amount. No "sorry for your wait" or any attempt to correct our disatisfaction. I truly hope this was just a bad night for our waitress but overall I left feeling cheated and upset when I came into the restaurant with such high hopes.

This place is very average and super pricey! My husband and I like to go to different restaurants as a hobby. We enjoy the diversity in Orlando and we try to keep up with the new trendy restaurants opening. We were extremely excited to visit Morimoto Asia, not only because my husband was a chef with the Patina Restaurant Group but also because as a chef he admires Iron Chef Morimoto. From the beginning you can see employees disliking their jobs...you had a bunch of hostesses staring at the people walking in, and instead of being welcoming they looked annoyed and overwhelmed by the crowd. It was a Monday at 9pm so I was hoping the wait wouldnt be too long... unfortunately, they said next available table would be at 9.40pm or first come first serve at the bar. We truly wanted a table but it was pointless to wait so long for a Monday late at night so we chose a high top at the downstairs bar. I will not mention the servers name to avoid getting her in trouble since she wasnt bad... but very unexperienced. She took a long time to get to the table, she repeated the wrong order and she was noticeably nervous. The food is my concern... for being an Iron chefs restaurant... man what a disappointment!!! We had the toro tartare and five spice wings as appetizers, the orange chicken and the chicken pad thai as entrées plus a carafe of their unique Sake Sangria. The Sangria an the wings were the best part, but the toro tartare and the orange chicken were a total mess. We couldnt even finish it (even when being BITE SIZE!!). Portions were waaaay too small for the elevated prices. You can refer to my pictures...we paid over 100 dollars for minimal and very average food... I could have had a better experience for half of the money at The Cheesecake Factory. I do have to give the designer Kudos for the great concept and atmosphere... but thats it! As locals were not returning ever again. We would stay with The CowFish at CityWalk for similar type of cuisine.
