Small restaurant in a strip mall on Kirkman at Conroy. Ordering and service were quick and effcient. The Masala Dosa was excellent as were the Karahi Chicken and Goat Curry. The Chicken Tikka Masal was a little too sweet for my taste and was the least popular for our party. The cook actually made the dishes mild, as requested, for the "wimps" in our party. All main dish items were extremely flavorful and relatively non-greasy, not swimming in oil like usual Indian restaurant fare. The only items that prevented me from giving this restaurant 5 stars were: 1. No mint chutney offered. 2. Side of Rice with each dish was an extra charge. 3. The Plain Naan (an Indian food staple) was a little pricey at $2.49. 4. The mango pastry looked better than it tasted, with hardly any mango flavor. Surprisingly, the Black Forest cake was delicious.

This place sucks, I bought a Groupon to use here, the Indian guy in the wheel chair told me I cannot use the Groupon, then he said its only for dine in only, then after told me that its one per family for the entire lifetime. I spoke to him about my Groupon having no limitations on any of the things he said. I showed him the Groupon on my phone yet he still wont let me use my Groupon. He got an attitude & cursed me because he knew the use of the Groupon would make him loose money. He is a very nasty person & I told him Im never coming back again. The way he talked to me was very unprofessional & was cursing. I was tempted to call the cops but just left with my patience. I would not advise anyone to buy food here, the food isnt great & the customer service is very poor. These ppl talk to you however they want.

Ive only ever eaten take-out from this place. So most of what Im reviewing is the quality of food. Ive had most of their vegetarian options from the dosas with chutney to their entrees, specifically the Palak Chana and Dal Tadka. Speaking as a vegetarian who ate meat for over 20 years, Indian food has been a great alternative! Not because it tastes like meat but because it simply tastes great! The Palak Chana is so good that I considered working here JUST to learn the recipe (which I attempted to cook myself many times after trying it here). Dining experience may be below average but everything Ive tried so far on the menu has been excellent! Get some naan or roti, some Dal Tadka with rice, and kick back with some Netflix!

If you judge this place solely on the food which is most important to me then it is top notch. I went there for lunch and ordered the chicken Chettinad medium. It was amazing and next time I think I will order it hot. The only thing here though is that your plate is 9.99, but then rice is separate, bread is separate, and who goes Indian without some Nan or roti? After adding this, your drink and a tip, it is double the price, which is a bit much for lunch. Would I go back? Yes, that Nan is awesome. I recommend it in the garlic flavor and the layers of spices they use in their dishes continue to build as you chew. Great place!

Wow! My husband and I loved this place! We recently moved from Ocala and were in search of an Indian place to have Chicken Tikka Masala. We stopped in after reading the reviews online. It did not disappoint! Dont judge the exterior or the setting. The food is AWESOME! We had the Garlic Naan, Chicken Kirach and, of course the Chicken Tikka Masala. Food was just spicy enough, very hot and fresh. We couldnt get enough of it!! If you havent visited please try it out. You will be glad you did! We will probably be back once a week moving forward.

Food was great however rude owner/manager/waiter? for some reason he seemed to be irritated with me not knowing what to order or was having a bad day when I was asking questions, Bakery had good food too but most likely wont go back do to his attitude, Went there in oct/16, It is a shame though I would have increased there business with just my family going there alone plus who I recommend and its a shame the bakery seemed so good but will go elsewhere I dont need attitudes, The main food was good seemed fresh too

I visited Indian Hut on Christmas eve at around 9.39 PM. Although, the restaurant closes at 10 PM, the owner of the restaurant was kind enough to accept our orders and served food very fast. The restaurant was very busy, yet very well managed. The food was extremely delicious and perhaps the most authentic Indian food Ive had in my last 4 months of my stay in the US. It almost felt as if I was dining in India. Given an opportunity, Ill definitely visit again, and would strongly recommend it to everyone.

This evening was me and my boyfriends first time dining in at Indian Hut and first experience tasting Indian cuisine. The overall experience was amazing. From walking into the delicious scent, to the moment we walked out. The food we ordered was incredible! The food was freshly cooked and it took no longer than 10 minutes to be served. The plates ordered were both very rich in taste. To top it off, outstanding costumer service. Definitely heading back to Indian Hut for another bite! !

Dont come here if you want your food on time. The food is nice but the service is horrible. Specially for takeouts, its not going to be ready in less than half an hour. This one time, I called for takeout and went there to pick up after 30 minutes but guess what, they hadnt even started making it even if I was told that itd be ready in 20 minutes :/ Same thing for dine in. Dont expect to have your appetizers to arrive before main dishes like any normal human being would do :p

The cakes were delicious and the food was good too. But the man who was behind the register has terrible customer service. He needs to smile and ask if we nees help or did we place an order for food. He makes it awkward and unfriendly. Customer service is so important because it reflects on the restaurant and whether or not people would come back again. Food and dessert is great they just need to work on their customer service and start having a positive attitude.

All very well made and very authentic Indian food. This looks to be a family run buisness and on the rare occasion it is not busy it is very nice. A good gauge of a restaurant is the people who come back and this place seems to have a lot of people coming in and out that know the workers. It is a real gem in the area and a very rare find especially in the burbs. If you like Indian you will lovd this place. Prices are not high for this area.

They said 20 mins wait, its been an hour so far and no food. I am dying of hunger here and after an hour the person says another 10 mins. I guess even if the food if good, I guess setting wrong expectation makes them lose their points. Also service wise, I will give them 0 points. One lady cleaning tables and we had to set up our own table as she was just too busy...
