Well, what can I say. The place is clean, people are very, very friendly and are not into a rush to take your order. The fact that my order was read back to me assured me I get what I have ordered. The owner was present to actually talk to me and appreciate my input about dishes and spices. The fact that I learned to know his cook is up in age like a good wine made me smile. The owner and I will call him now a friend because he had no holding back on sharing, is a wonderful person that has at first the only thing on his mind, the customer to please and satisfy. To make it short, if you want "real indian food" Hot or Mild is the place to go in the Greater Cleveland Area. PS: I am not hired, I just like and KNOW Indian food being a real person. Namaste. Food is tasty and spicier than some of the others around. However, the meals are irregular and often get the incorrect dishes in our order (garlic naan instead of normal naan). For example, if you order tikka masala, sometimes you get 6-8 pieces of chicken and other times you get only 3 pieces of chicken. This irregularity means we dont often want to order from here. Would love to see them create more regularity in what they actually serve so that its more uniform - at least in amounts! Otherwise I enjoy the food and the pick up service and the price.

I went to Hot or Mild a couple of days ago for the first time. We ordered our meal to go. Each time when the guy would grab plastic bags to bag our food, he would lick his fingers. He did that with a customers bag before us. It made me lose my appetite completely, and I was very hungry. Im sure he was back in the kitchen preparing the food too. The dining area was messy. Most of the curries were in buffet vats at the counter and they looked like they had been sitting there all day. The Naan and fried foods were made fresh though.

Great food, but call ahead first. They have showed up late for work on multiple occasions and were unprepared to serve their lunch takeout menu - an hour after they were supposed to be open. Pretty unprofessional, I always call ahead now and was told one other time that they werent going to be ready for an hour! They are missing their lunch-rush customers for sure by being late for work.

I dont even know how this place is open. It absolutely disgustingly dirty. These cooks have the worst habits they smoke and use the bathrooms and dont wash their hands they pile up garbage that smells horrid and leave it to rot. They eat while preparing food just reallynreally gross behavior. I wouldnt eat here again if someone paid me.

This is the worst place I have EVER been to! First of all, they are extremely expensive. Secondly, my whole family got food poisoning from their food. Everything is horrendous. The chicken dum biryani seemed extremely old. The chicken 65 was full of salt. Also, they cut up the meat in hundreds of little pieces. Not fresh!!! BEWARE!

Good food, friendly service and (as long as you get the food at the buffet) extremely fast service. If you order off that buffet, the wait can be anywhere from a reasonably short time, all the way to long. But the food has always been worth the wait. Overall a great, quick Indian food option.

So yummy! My husband and I pick food up to-go from here about once a week! Its so authentic, delicious, convenient and budget-friendly. The service is great and staff is very friendly. Our favorite is their butter chicken, tandoor roti and - of course! - a mango lassi (large) for dessert!

Seriously good food !! My wife and I got paneer tikka masala carryout last week, and it was really really delicious ! If you live in the vicinity, or are catching up on a movie, it will be very well worth your time to stop here to dine. We cant wait to visit again! Bon appétit everyone !!

I had bought lunch today. Paneer Makhani was very very salty that i was never able to eat the 2nd bit of it. Paneer Makhani was tasting like old curry and paneer peices were very tight.Quality of food is going down day by day. They have to seriously look into that.

Wonderful Indian take-out place. Loses a star due to inconsistency in portion size - I usually have to order two Butter Chicken because sometimes one order has 4-5 small pieces of chicken, other times it might have 6-8 larger chunks, and its very hit-or-miss.

I almost always order garlic naan, chicken tikka massala, and a mango lassi. The food isnt always consistent I think cooks are from different regions, but it always tastes good. Service usually doesnt take long and I think the prices are fair.

The water from the cooler was the only thing I liked. Waited for 5 minutes before someone came from the back, and then we had to wait until he was finished texting. The food was mediocre at best. The service was horrible.

Very good Indian Food. I go here about once a week/every other week since it opened. Going inside can be a little slow if there are a bunch of people so I call ahead. The naan is always made fresh and is very good.

The food was good, but the menu listed each meal including Roti and chutney. When I asked why mine did not come with those items he said those menus were old. But they were publicly posted. False advertising.

Overall chicken shish kabobs was good veggies were fresh....But only 4 chunks of chicken an not on a stick so wasnt kabobs at all to me. Will go back cause its better than a marathon corn beef any day.

Inexpensive Indian food with all of my favorites! Chicken tikka masala, garlic naan, chicken vindaloo. I recommend ordering ahead as orders can take 30-45 minutes to make.
