Ive been eating Famous pizza for a few years now and I literally loved this place so much Id eat it just about every week but this place has gotten horrible over the past year! The last THREE TIMES Ive ordered Pizza they have ALL BEEN OVER COOKED!! The first time was the old clearwater location whos oven was infamous for burning pizzas which I called to complain and they said theyd give me a free one next time, got the free pizza and it was great. Tried again a week later and got ANOTHER OVER COOKED PIZZA! Called to complain AGAIN and they said they give me another. Told them theyve done that once and I want this problem to stop without having to call and complain so since then I have been going to Oldsmar (have to now because clearwater got shut down) and the past 2 times there SAME THING! Only this time it was even wasnt even as much cheese as they normally use. Ive tried many times to give them a chance and IM DONE. All this place is good for is burned pizza

One of the best pizzas Ive ever had in my life. I usually get take out from here or dominoes so I decided to dine in with my girlfriend. Very friendly and funny staff to talk to while waiting for it to cook. They delivered the pizza to my table and I was in awe. I go to scoop a slice with the pizza wedge and the cheese was stretching literally 2 ft. Tasted great, so much tasty cheese and bacon on it. Next time if you are thinking of getting it to go or delivered, try dining in and you will surely get the best pizza of your life. No, I am not friends or in anyway related to anyone that works there I just really really loved that pizza. Will definitely go again!

By far the worst. I dont know what these people are talking about unless they are friends and family. The sauce is the most bland thing Ive ever tasted. The dough was over worked and the corn meal on the bottom is too course. I ate inside and the kid working the counter barely even said hello when I walked in. It was awkward and he had a "dont give a crap" attitude. There was no garlic or parmesan on the tables. I had to use regular salt to taste anything at all. And the place was definitely not clean. Ill never go back, even to give it a second chance.

I love this place.. My kid love this place.... The owners are awesome and helpful..... I always go inside and I have never been treated like "crap" neither my kid. Even when they are full with a lot of deliveries I never felt the way that the other reviewer described. If they are not chatting with you is because they are busy working their orders and your order... Regarding the food their chicken wings are awesome.. Their pizza is awesome.. the taste incredible...

Famous Pizza???? Worst pizza I have ever had in my life. And what makes it worst is I was craving pizza all day and decided to give this place a try since a friend of mine recommended me this place. First the dough was too thick and soggy as hell. The sauce had no flavor, the cheese was moshy like chewing bubble gum. Who ever thinks this pizza is good need slap up side the head with that pizza. Im from NY and this is an insult to pizza. Save your money folks.

Second time Ive been there and the food is extremely tasty. Dont know what they do to it, but Im thinking its the crust/bread that tips the balance to make it so good. Just overall a complete surprise as Ive been hunting around town for places to go and now I am going to use this place up. Already mentioning it to my students. Hey, you train hard: treat yourself. The people working there are friendly and considerate, which gives me more reason to spread the word.

How much can I complain about huge, $1 slices of pizza? I was full and it only cost a few coins. But lets be honest, the pizza was mediocre at best. The sauce and toppings were okay, especially the mushrooms, but the crust had no flavor, was a bit burnt, and killed any positives lying on top of it. Im left to imagine what it would taste like if they could learn to make and cook dough... I MAY give them another try, but theres no hurry. Service? Not bad, not good.

Im going to be honest. Im from out of town and originally from up north, and know excellent pizza. The pizza wasnt perfect, but for the price and customer service I received, I cant complain. I would possibly get take out again if Im ever in the area and on a budget, but wouldnt plan to eat inside as the place itself seemed a bit outdated and worn down. Like I said, the employees were great and super personable and seemed as if they cared about their customers.

We were customers for 15 years, unfortunately it became "normal" to expect a two hour wait on a regular week day.. we had a 3hr delivery once and they gave us a coupon for the next one free but even the free one ended up being a two hour delivery.. Weve given up on them.. I guess they are understaffed.. Fortunately we found a new local family owned restaurant that opened named "Spin and Slice" and absolutely love it!!!

You have to try all their Specialty Pizzas!!l, THE WHITE IS BY FAR MY FAVORITE!!! The sauce is soo flavorful, the crust has the perfect crunch that a New York pizza should have. I lived in New York for 20 years, and this is the best that I have tasted since I have been in Florida. Their employees make me feel part of the family!!! Even when they are busy, they make sure to say hello right away!!!

This is an awesome little pizza place with excellent pizza! Check out their online daily deals, and dont forget they have a Clearwater location too. I went to the Oldsmar location a few times before realizing that another Famous Pizza is closer to me, on Sunset Pt. If you are looking for a great unique pizza place with XL pizza slices, you just found the place!

My girlfriend and I ate here. The place was extremely hot. It had to be close to 90 degrees in the store. The store was atrocious and disgusting and looked like it hadnt been cleaned in years. The staff didnt wear any safety protections which ended up giving us food poisoning. Avoid at all cost you will get sick and the food wont even taste good.

Just an honest review here. I enjoy famouss food but their service is atrocious. Rude, bad phone manners, and snide remarks. Every time Ive been inside Im treated like crap, not like a paying customer. Just kind of depressing because its a local small business I want to support but does the food outweigh the service? Maybe you should decide.

I regret my last post. They sure did pick it up a notch. Thry got on top of there game and my epierience dining in and delivery has been awesome! Thank you Famous. I even tried their St Pete location and what a beautiful place. I love their Whit Specialty and the 18 inch cheese. They have great cheesecake and ice cream to.
