We have dined at this restaurant before and have been pleased with the food, and the service has been adequate. Came in for dinner last night and it seems things may have taken a turn for the worst. As we walked in we were greeted by someone behind the counter/front desk area. Stood there awkwardly for a while (not long) til someone told us they would be taking us to our table. We were seated and the waiter seemed nice enough, taking our drink and appetizer orders. A few minutes later we ordered our entrees. About 20-30 minutes after being seated our waiter tells us that they are "changing shifts and he will be leaving for the night" our new waitress will be coming by to introduce herself. This is when everything started going downhill. Our new waitress never actually introduced herself to us (I still dont know what her name is) she just came over to our table to ask us if we wanted to order dinner since she checked and saw that our table still had not placed any dinner orders. Excuse me??? We ordered our entrees over 30 minutes ago! She went and checked and assured us it was her mistake and the orders were placed by our first waiter and would be right out. Another 20-30 minutes pass and this is when it really starts to get comical as both our new waitress and the original waiter keep coming by asking us about food and drink orders, obviously not knowing what the other is doing. We voice our concerns to both our waiter and waitress about the situation and our wait time for dinner and they both apologize profusely. Its obvious that something went wrong but neither would admit to it. Our entrees come out and they got my side order wrong. Not a big deal but a good indication that our order was not placed in a timely manner. It was placed after the fact with whatever the waiter could remember. The food itself was OK but seemed over salted. Seems like the chef has no confidence in the natural flavors of the food and the cooking method and just salts everything. Now our original waiter never left, he is still working the floor, and he states that he will comp my beers (with an s) for the inconvenience. The waitress is also apologetic and tells us dessert is "on her". OK, I guess theyre trying to make this right for us. Well, more than 2 hours after arriving at the restaurant we get the final bill. Guess what; they charged us for dessert and they comped me one beer, a draft beer at that, out of three that I ordered. I paid the bill as presented to me and still left a tip above 20% not wanting to engage any further with either of our waitstaff. Needless to say I would be very hesitant to come back to this establishment and would definitely not recommend it to any of my friends or family as I have done in the past.

What a great place. I came here for a late lunch and it was almost empty, which was nice. We got the pretzel sticks app, which came with some delicious cheese and mustard dips. I wish there were more pretzel sticks, as theres way too much sauce for just 3 sticks. They were awesome though. I got a burger and my wife got a wrap. The burger was cooked perfectly, which seems to be hard to do. I order my burgers medium, which should be almost no pink left. The burger was huge and juicy, had blue cheese and some nice sauce on it. The fries were really good; I got the bistro fries, which are just regular fries except there are spices on it. Something Rusteak does rather uniquely is make their own ketchup. I dont think Ive ever been to a burger joint that makes their own, but they brought cold, freshly made ketchup out. It was a bit chunky and had a strong tomato flavor. The wife liked her wrap; the veggies were prepared properly and werent greasy like a lot of places like to do. The service was okay, but not mindblowing. Ill definitely return and try some more of their menu and order more of those awesome pretzel sticks.

EDIT: Went to the bar and had an enjoyable experience. Food was fantastic, as always, and Jacquelines knowledge and service really brought the entire visit together. ORIGINAL: If I was rating purely on the food and drinks, Id give this place a five. Unfortunately, the service was not at the same level. We sat at our table for 13 minutes without being noticed and we were only addressed by a server after I walked to the front and requested service. Most of the attention we received was short and clipped, and I couldnt even tell you our servers name because it was never offered. It felt very bizarre. My boyfriend usually orders a second drink by the middle of his meal, but we were not approached until well after we had both finished. If other servers besides ours had not been stepping in to help, I doubt we would have gotten our second drink at all. Were both industry, and its rare we feel this way about any service. Its our first night in Orlando and we were very excited to celebrate our move here. Again, the food was fantastic. Our server? A serious letdown. Well update our review of we revisit.

This is my second time there and my first review was a 5 star as their food is delicious. This time I made the mistake of ordering apetizers and entrees together expecting they would know how to serve them. Result was: 1st dish out - Entree salad (mine was missing) then appetizer (Cheese and charcuterie board )and entree served at the same time !!! My friend who was there for the first time stares at me and says: Looks like they want us out of here. As the entrees were warm dishes we had to eat them right away because the other option was to take it back to the kitchen and put it under a heating lamp and ended up having the " appetizer" as a desert. So what could have been a great night ended up as a just ok. Conclusion: Excellent food accompanied by inneficient service. And they add 20% to the check. Not sure if they were affraid I was not going to tip because of the service - No manager ever came to my table - but as money wasnt the issue i paid the check and left. Too bad they have great food but it has to be served in a proper sequence.

Off the charts DELICIOUS!!! After a late night meeting, RusTeak was the only restaurant around open until 11pm. The 55th Street Sandwich, with in-house-made pastrami, was snarfed down by my husband within minutes! He ordered the maple bacon brussels sprouts, which I gleefully devoured off his plate. The Caesar salad was perfect. I ordered the Mahi Out of Control, which was so bountiful, I ate the second half for lunch today. **Just as good cold as it was the night before** And we all devoured the Cronie (a cinnamon sugar-coated donut-shaped crescent topped with Vanilla Ice Cream) as well as the unique blueberry-white chocolate bread pudding. Copious servings. The most amazing part was the wait-staff (Zach and others)--eager to share their favorite menu items, with mouth-watering detailed descriptions. WOW! is all I can say!!

Went there before, and it was a great experience, but today 3/10/16 we went there when it opened for a lunch meal and had a difference experience. we got there and water came out quickly, but was not asked if we wanted any other drinks. The waitress came back and took our food order, and we added our drink order. the food came quickly. My PBLT was good, but my fathers Joyride was smothered in olive oil to where it was the only flavor we could taste. when the waitress came out to check we said it was not great, and she replied "ok good" she didnt listen. we said something to someone else and things were taken care of, but maybe it would be best if you went to a later shift
